Chapter 5 The Star

The next day, I went to school early to continue my research in the library.

Since the deadline for submission is this afternoon.

"Jamie Claire, finally, you're here! Have you seen Prof. Terror? "Xia asked as she pulled me to one side.

"As you can see, I just arrived. Why? Is she in a bad mood? "I asked while looking at the area.

Well, don't be surprised! She changed, and when I said change, Prof. Carol Villar is now a different person! " Xia declared while pointing at the person she was referring to.

I frowned and rubbed my eyes, "Is that her?" I asked in disbelief.

But the woman I am seeing now is wearing a daring outfit while her hair is loose-curled and she is not wearing eyeglasses.

"What's going on? "I asked, shocked.

"Please don't ask me; we're not close! Xia replied, glimmering.

(I started walking towards the library with Xia while still looking in Prof. Villar's direction. Perhaps the teacher felt my stare, so she turned in our direction.)

"Ms. Anderson!" Prof. Villar calls and walks away.

"Here comes the new devil," Xia utters as we go to meet the teacher.

"Good morning, Prof. Villar," I said, forcing myself to smile.

"Ms. Anderson, hmm... you look beautiful today," Prof. Villar complimented.

"Thank you, ma'am, but my beauty is not comparable to yours," I murmured, "You look different today," I added.

"I understand! And it's because of you! As a reward, let me know anything you want, and I will give it to you! "

"Ma'am, I don't know what I've done, but if you ask me what I want-it's about the report, I have to pass later,"

(Although I don't understand what's going on with Prof. Villar, I took advantage of his kindness.)

Oh, is that all? Let me see, "Prof. Villar answered.

(I handed her the unfinished report.)

"Hmm, it's well written, and oh, I like this prophecy you added! "

"Are you sure, ma'am?" I asked, shocked.

"Of course, well, if you add some staff like a demon, I will love it even more."

(Prof. Villar looked at me and grinned.)

"I'm just kidding. Anyway, this report-I will accept it, and you don't need to add some staff,"

"Thank you, ma'am!" I exclaimed.

Pro Villar just smiled and walked away.

"I told you! Our terror teacher changes a lot! "

(I smile at Xia, who suddenly appears beside me.)

"I love Prof. Carol Villar now!" I declared and changed the direction I was heading.

While we waited for our teacher's arrival, Xia and I started to plan for my birthday. I already invited our classmates, and most of them promised to go.

Hey, how about my friends and me? Why are you not inviting us?! "

(Xia and I look at the girls in front of us.)

"Ha Ha Ha, why? Are you expecting to be invited? "Xia asked.

'' Of course, we expect to be invited because you asked everyone to come except us!''

"Wow!" says one. Sarah, perhaps you forgot that you have been bullying Jaymie Claire since childhood! And now you want to go to her debut? " Xia sneered.

"Xia, halt! Sarah, you and your friend can come, "'

(Xia would have objected again, but I quickly stopped her.)

"Hey, Professor Villar is here," I announce.

Xia frowned as she sat up, while Sarah and her friends smiled and returned to their seats.

"Class, you have a new classmate, and I want you all to be nice, whether you like it or not," Prof. Villar stated and laughed.

Everyone laughed as they waited for our new classmate to enter.

The women immediately shuddered when they saw our classmate's face-the opposite of my shocked reaction.

'' Do you want to introduce yourself? ''

"I'm Ian Gabriel Marquez, and I hope to befriend you all," he said.

(I raise an eyebrow as Ian Gabriel looks directly at me as he speaks,)

"Ian Gabriel, do you have a girlfriend?" Sarah asked.

"Yes, and she's right here," Ian Gabriel answered with a smile.

I immediately felt disappointed, so I opened my book and focused on that. That's why I didn't see Ian Gabriel walking in my direction,)

"I'm saying in front of the whole class that you are my girlfriend, but you didn't even react,"

"Am I the one you're talking to?" I asked, still looking around me.

"Yes, now would you please move so that I can sit beside you?" Ian Gabriel asked.

Because of their whispers, I turned my attention to our classmates, specifically to Sarah's group, who almost killed me with their gaze.

"Hello!"(My attention returns to Ian Gabriel when he sits beside me.)

"Now that our new student is settled, maybe we can start," Prof. Villar exclaimed.

"Please transfer to the other seat! "

"No way! I'm happy with your side,"

"I already have a seatmate!"

"You mean her? She agreed to exchange seats with me. "

"I dont believe you! " I exclaimed and turned to Xia. "Did you agree? "I asked, frowning.

(Xia nodded while seemingly hypnotized, staring at Ian Gabriel.)

I just sighed and opened the book to avoid the man who was not taking his eyes off me.
