Chapter 5 Wade

She's supposed to be here in an hour and Fifi wasn't even close to finishing dinner preparations.

"Pluto, you need to relax dear, or you'll hurt somebody," Gertie said.

I groaned, "I'm just nervous okay."

"I would be too if I asked my new employee to come to have dinner with me and my brother" My brother chuckles.

"Shut up."

Everyone laughed

"It'll be okay, you should be happy Thanatos isn't here or mom."

He was right, I'd prefer mom over Thanatos any time.

"You'll be an alright baby child," Gertrude said to me with a smile, "Just be yourself."

Poseidon laughed, "Bad advice Gertie, he'll embarrass himself."

"Oh Poseidon, don't be such a bully," Gertie scolded, "And besides, you have the most embarrassing love story of all."

I chuckled, he did, after pursuing her for a year, Fifi finally agreed to go out with him, he had kidnapped her and locked her away, tried turning in a Nymph but it didn't work, even went as low as turning into a dolphin so she could pet him.

"What are you laughing about?" Poseidon frowned

"Oh nothing," I grinned.

"You've blocked me again," Peter said frustrated.

He hates it when I block him from reading my mind, I smile triumphantly.

"I take it, Thanatos was here?"

I sighed, "Yeah he was."

"That boy needs to learn some manners," Fifi said annoyed, "And like always he was here to make threats about stealing your girl"

I nodded.

"This Mr Steal-your-girl act is getting old and annoying" Poseidon rolled his eyes.

It was, it made me wonder if that's all he ever did, steal other men's women, and make our lives a living nightmare.

The conversation kept going for a while, talking about Fifi's new interior design job and Poseidon's distaste for the job, he preferred Fifi at home with him, but she is the independent type and likes doing things on her own and no one can stop her, and I mean no one.

Ding, ding!

"Holy crap she's here," I said nervously.

Poseidon laughed, "Just relax and play it, cool dude"

Let out a shaky breath and walk towards the door, I slowly open the door, putting on my straight face, she slowly came to view, and the wind was knocked out of me, she looked stunning, she was wearing a black silk gown with gold earrings and necklace.

"Mr Wilson" she smiled shyly.

I cleared my throat, "Korey, you look breathtakingly beautiful"

She blushed, "Thank you, Mr Wilson."

"Come in."

She walks past me and into the passage, I close the door and lead her to the dining room.

Fifi gasped, "She's so beautiful, Wade where did you find her?"

Here we go, "Korey meet Felicity."

"Hello" Korey greeted shyly.

"You can call me Fifi."

Korey smiled and looked at me.

I pointed to my brother, "And that's my brother, Peter."

Poseidon steps forward, Korey stretches out her hand but instead, Poseidon pulls her in for a hug.

Korey stiffens up but instantly relaxes and giggles, "You smell like the ocean."

"My home," Poseidon smiled proudly.

"I asked them to join me for dinner, we had other issues to discuss before this."

"That's okay, the more the merrier," she said excitedly.

"Of course, anything to drink?"

"Wine would be nice, red"

I snapped my fingers and the butler appeared, "Tony, get me our famous red wine please."

He nodded curtly, "Anything else, your sir?"

"Fifi, Peter?"

"The red wine would be perfect," Poseidon replied.

"I'll be right back with the wine," he said and left.

I led everyone to the table, and everyone took their seats, Fifi, and Poseidon sat next to each other on the left and Korey and I were sitting across from them.

"So, Korey, you work for Mama June I hear?" Fifi asked, "Wade here told me."

"Yes, I do," she replied looking down, ashamed.

"There is nothing to be ashamed of dear, as long as you've got the passion for it, nothing else matters," Fifi said, "I work as a lifeguard."

"Really? Sounds more fun than my job," Korey chuckles.

"Trust me, it gets boring at times," Fifi laughed lightly.

Tony returns with the wine and pours it into every glass.

"Thank you, you can tell Gertie to prepare the starters."

Giving another curt nod, he walks away.

I listened as Fifi engaged Korey in conversation, she was an intelligent young woman, with soul and spirit. She loved her job and everything that came along with it, I love a woman like that.

"You are such an intelligent young woman, no wonder my brother has fallen for you," Poseidon smiled, giving me a wink.

"Oh really?" Korey said shocked.

Damnit, Peter! Why?

Because I can!

You're such an asshole, now what am I going to say to her!

Whatever you see fit dear brother

I could kill you right now.

"Who wouldn't fall for a beautiful woman like her?" I replied.

Korey blushed and took a sip of her wine.

"Don't be a shy baby girl," I smirked, pushing a strand of hair behind her ear, her body trembled slightly at my touch, just what I wanted.

"Wade," Poseidon warned.

I placed my hand on her thigh, squeezing it, she puts her hand on top of mine and pushes it off.

"Kids behave yourselves!" Poseidon scolded.

I roll my eyes, Tony comes in and serves our starters, chicken soup with garlic bread and butter.

"These smell so good," Korey said smelling the soup.

"You can dig in dear."

We began to eat, and I watched Korey savour the chicken soup, she was loving it, the way her lips covered the spoon was just so sexy, those plump glossy lips.

Hades!

Get out of my head then, geez.

Ding, ding!

Now, who on earth could that be?

"I'll get it," Tony said as he walked towards the door.

I hear footsteps walking into the dining room, "Dear brother, how dare you have dinner and not invite me."

He stands by the door with his iconic smirk.
