Next Day-
-At the hotel-
In the Morning, Abhishek got up from a heavy hangover and found a girl in his arms. Last thing He remembered from last night was when he was heavily drunk, he was in the club. Much to his irritation, the girl was completely clinging onto him. He asked the girl to leave angrily. She collected her belongings and left.
His phone buzzed and he picked it up rubbing his head trying to ease the hangover.
"Where the hell are you? The meeting with the Singhanias has already started. Come here now." Laksh yelled angrily from other side.
"Oh Shit. I really forgot about that Laksh. Please handle that I'm just coming." Abhishek shrieked putting on his shoes.
Abhishek hung up and rushed towards the office as he was already late. He reached the office speeding through the traffic.
By the time he reached, his dad had already handled the meeting and the clients were leaving. His Dad was giving him cold glares. He gestured him to come to his cabin.
Abhishek thought and thought of a good excuse for coming late but couldn't find any so he went for a traffic jam.
His Dad was angrily staring at him. "Dad, I would have come early but you know that-"
"That you slept with some model last night and had no mood of leaving her arms. That's a concrete reason, right?"
Abhishek was shocked. "Oh, so that was a model huh. Even I didn't know her name Dad. How did you know?" He asked smiling sheepishly.
"Because it's all over the newspapers and also the news channels also by now." Ram replied throwing the newspaper straight on his face.
It had the photo of him and the girl leaving the club last night. "Nice photo Dad. Just my hairstyle was a bit... messy. Don't worry, I'll take care next time. What do you think?" He asked trying to cool down Ram's anger.
"Shut up Abhishek. What do you think is this? A joke? Why do you want to ruin everything I've earned until now? Why can't you just take care of your reputation?" Ram fumed.
Ram's back was facing Abhishek. Abhishek hugged him from back and his rage instantly calmed down. "OK dad. I promise I'll be on time for next meeting. Now please smile."
He said making a pouty face. His father was his only family. He couldn't see him hurt.
It was same with Ram. He was equally concerned for Abhishek. He huffed and gave in. "OK son. But don't disappoint me next time."
"OK. Promise." Abhishek rejoiced.
"So come home early. I'll be waiting for you at dinner. We've to discuss something important." Ram said in a professional tone while straightening his tie.
"OK. I'll be there."
Saying this, Ram left from office for some work.
-Abhishek's cabin-
"Sir, Kaira Mam wants to meet you" His receptionist Ridhi informed and Abhishek frowned at her name.
"Which Kaira?" He asked.
"Kaira Mehta." Ridhi replied and Abhishek smirked.
"OK. Send her in." He ordered.
The door opened and a tall, fair girl with lustrous mahogany coloured hair, wearing strapless, knee length red and black dress walked in. "Hi Baby" she said and came straight towards his chair and placed herself in his lap.
"So, you found me?"
"How could I not? you came to New York for that deal, had fun with me and left like that without even informing me and even hid my passport so that I don't follow YOU. Do you know how angry I was?" She bellowed.
"Ya. And I thought I got rid of you. I think I had warned you many times not to embarrass me with your PDA in the office. What are you doing here Kaira?" He grunted coldly.
"O baby, I just came to ask you if you have any plans for tonight. I've arranged a dinner date for us and-"
"Look Kaira, I've a lot of work and no interest in your womanly fantasies. So just mind your own business and don't come to my office like that. Why can't you just get over me?" He asked totally frustrated.
"No need to react like that Darling. Call me when you need me, I'll be right there." She said seductively tracing her finger on his cheek and left.
For 2 years, Kaira has been trying to woo Abhishek but of no use. For Kaira it was a relationship but she was alone in that relationship. Because for Abhishek she was like all other women who used to throw themselves on him and he enjoyed this 'no commitment' thing without any feelings or emotions.
-Roshni's Apartment-
"Good morning Roshni" she smiles to herself. Every day she had a race with herself to get up before the newspaper boy.
She ran to the hall and saw the newspaper already there beneath the door.
"Shit. Again late. But just by 5 minutes." She explained herself.
She picks up the paper and sees Abhishek and Ram's photo on the front-page stating Abhishek as the youngest Businessman of the year.
She looks at Ram's photo and acknowledges to herself, "Damn. I've seen him somewhere but where?"
She thinks and thinks but doesn't recall their encounter.
After a few hours, when she was about to leave for office, the doorbell rang and Roshni opened the door. To her surprise, Mr. Ram Prasad Malhotra was standing there. Now she matches the photo and his face and remembers everything.
She looked at him with wide eyes because one of the biggest businessmen of the country was standing in front of her.
He was totally amused by the look on her face and asked, "Can I come in?"
She came out of her trance and replied, "Ya... Ya off course come in." Awkwardness too thick in the air.
"I'm sorry to come like that. But it was important. I needed to talk to you." Ram explained.
"OK. Go on." Roshni added.
"The patient whom I want you to treat remember..." He asked unsure.
"Ya... About whom you talked yesterday."
"He's a... a drug addict, an alcoholic and his view about the world is... pathetic. Please cure him." He begged.
"So basically, the patient you are talking about needs a psychiatrist not a surgeon like me." She explained.
"That's the problem. He would never agree to that. In fact, he would never accept the fact that he needs help." He whined, his voice fill of worry.
"So how can we help someone who is so determined to harm himself?" She asked.
"Dr. Roshni. Only you can help him. The person I'm talking about is... my son... ABHISHEK."
"You mean to say that the most eligible bachelor billionaire, that Casanova, who changes girls every day." Roshni asked unbelievably. She didn't want to talk about him.
"Yes." He whispered.
"OK.so I'm not a psychiatrist or a counsellor so tell me how I can help you." She asked coming straight to the point.
"MARRY HIM." Ram insisted.
"What?" She asked in shock.
"Sir what do you think this is? A joke?"
"First listen to me Dr.-"
"No Mr. Malhotra if I would have known our conversation was heading in this direction trust me, I would have never talked to you for so long."
"You don't understand Roshni he is-"
"Mr. Malhotra please leave." She said rudely.
"Please Doctor. Just do me this favour. Cure my son. I'll give you anything you ask for."
"I think you didn't get me. For me, marriage is a sacred and pure relationship. I would never insult marriage like that." Roshni said angrily.
"OK. But if you ever need my help... you have my card, please contact me." Saying this he was about to leave.
Roshni was about to say something but her phone rang. She received the call and her expression changed to shock and then pain.
