Chapter 3 Drew a map

Chloe bent down to pick up the books while apologizing.The blonde girl did the same.

"Hi,am Chloe Anderson nice to meet you and sorry for bumping into you " She said putting her hands for a handshake.

"Am Natalie Downs,nice to meet you too.You shouldn't be the one to apologize because am clearly the one at fault reading while walking" She said after accepting Chloe's handshake with a smile in her hazel eyes.

While Natalie was busy talking, Chloe noticed the dress she wearing. It was a blue Chanel dress with a white belt strapped around her waist which was probably recently released and that meant she is a daughter of a wealthy person and Chloe was surprised she was talked to rather nicely in contrast to the other rude rich students she'd met.

"I haven't seen your face around here before, are you a new student?" Natalie asked

"Yes,am new here.I came last week and was kinda lost on the first day ...maybe that's why you don't know me" Chloe answered truthfully because of the way the school was structured, it was very easy to get lost.

"Which class are you in"

"Final year student"

"That means you are in the same class as me. Why didn't I notice you earlier. Didn't you introduce yourself the day you came ?" Natalie asked a little shocked.

" As I said before,I got lost on my first day and probably the teacher didn't notice a new student" Chloe said as she shrugged her shoulders.

"Ok, that aside. What subject do you have first"

"Wait, let check" Chloe said bringing out a piece of paper from her bag and checked it.

"It's chemistry" Chloe subconsciously turned the paper over to look at the map she had drawn a week before.

Natalie found it hard to hold back her laughter but when she saw Chloe lookup to the direction on the map.She started laughing which granted weird looks from the students as well as Chloe.

"You seriously drew a map for locating your classes, oh gosh that is hilarious"

Chloe had expected this, so she didn't mind being laughed at.But she wasn't comfortable coz everyone was looking in their direction. Thankfully, Natalie seemed to have noticed and stopped laughing.

"Okay, sorry for laughing at you coz if I had been in your place, I would've done the same"Natalie said looking remorseful.

"No, it's fine.So do you have the same classes as me ?" Chloe said handing over her timetable to her. She was very happy that someone had talked to her this nicely and secretly wished that she wanted her as a friend.

Natalie scanned the paper and said"yes, we're both attending the same classes.So now let's head to class without using your map" She said in a mocking voice while dragging Chloe to class.

"So this is how you behave after apologizing" Chloe chuckled softly.

As the two girls left for class, they didn't notice a group of three watching them clearly.

"Why did she have to trouble herself into drawing a map. She could have asked me to send her a copy coz I have the map of the school in my phone" A brown haired boy with brown eyes said.

"Xavier, why would you need a map.Haven't you been in this school for years to know every nook and cranny " A boy with similar features but gray eyes said rolling his eyes.

"Well, Xander I get lost at times.Just imagine you come to school on autopilot hardly awake.The halls becomes confusing and then this will become handy" Xavier said flashing his phone at his brother's face.

"You're crazy"Xander said slapping the back of his brother's head.

"Hey Jayden, aren't I right? " Xavier looked back at the boy dressed up in black from head to toe lost in his thoughts. Xavier became stunned at his handsome features. His not-too thick perfectly shaped eyebrows to his perfectly shaped nose and those seductive pink lips.

Xavier shook the weird thoughts from his thoughts mumbling " I am straight. Very straight, straighter than the straightest ..."

"I think you've gone mad "
