Chapter 4 Take over

Inside the bigger organization, he found a sympathizer and helper. Wai Ching Check has an apple to slice with Wang's boss Cheng Hong Kai. He suspected all these years, the disappearance of his brother and family had something to do with Cheng Hong Kai. He knew of the rift between his brother Jing Tai Hui and this Cheng, and how his brother was opposing him. Through their association, Wang learns about Wai Ching`s suspicions and beliefs. His cunning mind told him here is an opportunity presented. If he just adds and subtracts from this story, he can stand out in clover.

He recognized the resemblance and knew his part in this grieve. But if he plays his cards right, he will once again ride on the wave of contentment and joy. Wang devises his story, implicating his boss in full. Buying a very reliable witness, with which he sells the story for the truth to Wai Ching. Wang denounces his involvement, implicating On Leong, doing the deeds for Cheng Hong Kai. Wai Ching Check was furious but also grieve-stricken. When he heard what he suspected all along to be the truth, he grieved for his brother and family and went into retreat for some time. After two weeks, he summoned Wang and the two of them sat in for hours. Planning and devising ways for Wai to get his revenge. Wai will use Wang as his tool, bringing vengeance and justice to Cheng Hong Kai. In return, Wang would get the domain, all of it, and corporate it with Wai Chings. Then he would sit as Wai`s second, "but it will not be for long": Wai uttered. He wanted to retire. Step out of active gangsterism and go to a quiet place in Thailand. Inside he starts lighting candles and built himself an altar before the small statue of Buddha. He took extra care and time doing the spiritual ritual, something he seldom does. Early the following morning he arises in a splendid mood ready to start the day. His plans were perfected during the night and he wants to get moving on them. He dialed his trusted second in charge, asking him to come over. San Hui Chuo acted immediately not wanting to bring down the wrath of Wang on him. Now for the first time, he explained his plan to San Hui, his second. San Hui approved the plan willing to do everything in his power to see the plan succeeds. Before leaving the apartment, Wang dialed the boss requesting a formal gathering. The boss still mad at Wang's deceit and backstabbing was also busy with plans to rid himself from the clutches of Wang. He agreed on meeting up with Wang to discuss the matter, it was as good a chance as any. The illusion of peace and harmony was enacted with the arrival of Wang Chi. It astonished him how tranquil the atmosphere seems to be, and this alone put him on alert. Only his second accompany him, all the other boys were placed on standby waiting for his call. With the entrance of the boss follow a large contingent of security personnel. Some placed themselves in strategic positions behind Wang and San Hui. While others covered the boss, placing themselves around him, it in itself was alert number two. Looking at San Hui, he shows him with his eyes, "Now!" Wang dialed his men, and they move in, to eliminate threats from the outside. Cheng`s personnel get rounded up and he announces himself as their new boss. "If some of you don`t like it, you can choose a merciful death as your boss did." They accept Cheng`s wife and two daughters were given to his men as a prize. With a warning, not to spoil the merchandise, he dialed his benefactor and tell him; the mission has been accomplished. Wai Ching comes over, witnessing and seeing Cheng`s body, spitting on it. Wang now moves his whole headquarters to Cheng`s mansion and becomes head of his organization. The ruthlessness and raw guts displayed by Wang, will keep him feared and respected for a long time. All the chairs in the meeting room were replaced with couches. He makes it a point to scan and search it after every meeting held there. Wang took complete control in all aspects of his new life by announcing himself as the supreme leader of Cheng`s empire. He announced it at a council of bosses' meeting too and was ready and willing to enforce it, at any sign of resistance and opposition. Wang explained to them how things would be from now on, the percentages council members would receive out of his territory were also mentioned. Wai Ching announces at the same meeting, the merger, he and Wang agreed on earlier. With the merger announced, scales tip heavily over in Wang's favor.
