Chapter 4 JOHN PILLARI

BILLIONAIRE THIRST FOR LOVE

CHAPTER FOUR

"Christmas gave us lots of opportunities and blessings, in more ways than one.

Well, last Christmas Santa was too nice to me and sent me an Angel as a gift, so I'm proud to present to you the lady who said YES to me! The love of my life Jessica." He narrated grinning from ear to ear.

The lady I saw all over William walked and joined him as they both kissed as there was an eruption of applause and congratulations.

There went my hopes of getting laid tonight...

There was no way I could even blame him, although there was a little likeness for him I blew him off every chance I got and he had moved on.

William had been interested in me from the moment I walked through the doors of MTC on my first day. He was the head of Public Relations and was on the same level as Linda who was head of the Finance department.

When Big Billy Introduced me to the Staff, I spoke, thanking them. William was sending his love signals directly at me and after my introduction, he offered me a dinner date which I declined immediately.

He never took a hint and kept pressing on but I never gave him the benefit of doubt. The dates I wouldn't show up to, the ones I canceled, the outright NO! I often shot at him.

He was only human for him to move on, and deep down in my heart I had no right to be upset and I knew it.

My feelings were brought back to reality by a tap from Mr. Charlie. He tapped me to draw my attention to the fact that he was leaving because Big Billy called for him.

"See you soon Miss Maria," He said with a simple and extended hand.

"I hope so." I smiled back and shook his hands.

As he left, Linda came running in my direction with so much glee in her movement.

"He looked hot!" She pouted.

"Are you bi? Why are you admiring him?" I sipped on my glass of champagne trying to kill the nervousness slowly setting into me.

Linda had made sure there was no alcohol in my house; it was the perfect antidote to curb my drinking habits even though when we attend parties she lets me drink but once we get home I'm sipping mostly on water and fresh juices.

"Hell no! Because I'm gay doesn't mean I can't admire good things and he's one of them." Linda defends as she watches him speak to Big Billy.

I scoffed, rolling my eyes as though they could roll off and fall. "You're a shameless shipper."

"Of course I am, how about I arrange the date between the both of you?" Linda winked.

"I'm sure you're drunk." I shake my head as a blush spread out on my cheek, dates weren't my thing. Linda had set me up with quite a few and it turned out bland I've lost interest in dates and most times wished to leave immediately.

Jackson has left a scar in my heart and broken whatever hope I had left for love.

"Don't tell me you're thinking about Jackson?" Linda asked with a knitted eyebrow.

"Uhmm...why would I? He's past tense." I tried to sound convincing and tightened my grip on the champagne glass.

"Okay, I'll go say goodbye to Big Billy so we can head home." Linda brought it to my notice.

"Alright."

.................................................

A dark silhouette stood at the window with a cigarette in hand. The moon cast a dark shadow over him but it could be figured out the person beside the window was a manly figure.

He held a glass of whiskey and the other hand a cigarette. His head spun with thoughts of the past. The past that was etched deep into his heart like a scar.

JOHN'S POV

In a run-down and dilapidated warehouse located in the outskirts of Orano, a young man was kidnapped and blindfolded.

The blindfold was lifted off my eyes, as the effect of the drug I was injected with began to wear off my system. My eyes slowly open, I groan in pain, my palms covering my face to shield off the cutting edge light that infiltrates my vision.

The last time I could remember my eyes were forcibly blindfolded. "What do you want?" I asked, my eyes scanning the black-masked boys holding sticks and batons.

"Hahahaha..." They roared in laughter and one sent a bone-crushing punch to my stomach, which got me sauntering flying to the ground.

"That's what we want!"

"Ahhhhhh..." I yelled, picking myself up to fight but before I could feebly make any move, I was forcibly held and made to kneel as I struggled.

The one who looked like their Boss laughed, "You thought you could fight me?"

I was still struggling to fight to be held down by three other guys. "Let me go." I seethed in pain.

The leader punched me on my face and I was certain I must have gotten a broken nose from the hard punch.

The blood dripped and stained my shirt.

"You don't make orders here. Now shut up and let me do the talking!" The Boss warned.

In a fit of rage. "You won't shut me up. Why did you kidnap and bring me here?" I asked stubbornly with determination to know.

I got kidnapped on my way home and was forcibly blindfolded and brought to this rundown warehouse, which smelled of dust and ruins.

"You don't ask questions, little boy. Here isn't your little mansion. We will help decorate you a little bit." The Boss spoke, his voice deep and hard.

The way The boss drew the word decorate and stared at me made my skin crawl with bad creeps. I knew it wasn't any pleasant, I had to get away from these people or else they would kill me.

"I've done nothing to you, please let me go." There wasn't anything wrong in dialogues so that approach flew out of my mouth.

"Aww..so touching. I've done nothing to you. Plea-se let me go." The Boss mimics demonstrating fake tears and his boys roared in laughter, as their grips tightened on me.

"Bring the girl!" The Boss instructed, with a clap of his hands filled with metal rings that described his love for high metal fashion or rock music.
