Chapter 3 Carter Hudson and Rewind Band

The award function will start shortly. Feeling a little nervous. But I don't feel nervous like before. Now I am used to it.

As the days pass by, the nervousness has decreased as I go to many places like award functions, fansigns, concerts, various shows. But it still takes a while. It takes more fear than nervousness. If something goes wrong! We will start today's award show. So scary! If anything goes wrong! No mistake can be made.

Moreover, we have been nominated for Best Album and Best Artist. So, I'm feeling nervous a lot. I hope we will get these 2 awards. But what if we get one! Of course, there is no problem even if we don't get it. We are happy like always.

I'm Carter Hudson. A singer. A member of Rewind Band. I, Blake Colter, Jackson Hunter and Hazel Easton are four of us in this rewind group. We love each other a lot. We have been singing together for the last five years. Normally a good bond will form.

My father didn't want me to sing. He wanted me to finish my studies and join his company. But I did not like it at all. So I ran away from home. But as I was running away from home, my older brother Shane Hudson saw me.

"Do what makes you happy," he said, helping me escape.

Blake, Jackson and Hazel already knew each other. They used to sing in the streets. As I ran away from home, I was surprised to hear their songs on the street. Sings a lot of good songs. Their sweet voices attracted me so much. I listen to them till they finish them. We met for the first time then. After that we started to sing together. It's always fun with them. We've got a lot in these five years together. Of course, all this is due to the love of our fans. They love us so much. Well, we couldn't have come this far today without them. Our minds are filled with joy when they sing with us while singing in concert. Our fan site is very big. Tickets for all the concerts we've done in the last two years have sold out in 5-10 minutes. That being said, they eagerly wait for our concert.

Just as I was getting ready, Blake came in and said, "Feeling nervous?"

I nodded my head and looked at him and said "Hmm. A little bit. Don't you?"

He looked in the mirror and said, "I'm very nervous. When I was getting ready, I was wondering if I could do everything well. If something went wrong!"

Hazel put her hand on Blake's shoulder and said, "Don't get tense. Everything will be fine. The opening will be nicely finished." Blake winked at Hazel.

Jackson straightened his clothes and said, "Hey guys, how do I look? The hair looks a little weird, doesn't it?"

I put my finger on my chin and narrowed my eyes and observed him. "You're right, your hair looks weird . And the outfit doesn't suit you at all."

Blake and Hazel laughed at that. I started laughing with them too. Jackson stared at us for a moment.

Then he said "Very funny. But I didn't smile. Sorry."

He let out a sigh and said "How do I look, please tell me?"

Blake put his hand on his shoulder and said "Handsome, as always."

Jackson then said "I know." Jackson looked at us and said, "I'm very nervous. I've never opened a show before. I don't know what to do."

Everyone nodded.

I looked at them and said "Think positive. Everything will be positive."

Saying that, I gave them a small smile. They also looked at me and smiled.

At that time a man came and said to us "Are you ready?"

We looked at him and said together, "Yes, we are ready."

Then the man said, "Now the program will start with your performance. So you stay on the side of the stage."

We looked at him and nodded our heads.

Blake looked at us and said, "Are we ready?"

The four of us put our hands on each other's hands and said together, "Yeah, we are ready. Let's do it."

Then after waiting for 5 minutes we were called to perform. We looked at each other and went on stage and started performing.

After performing backstage, Hazel said, "Everything went well. We performed beautifully without any difficulty."

He took a deep breath and smiled.

I looked at them and said "Congratulations to us."

Then we clapped together for each other. Looked a lot better to perform. When we entered the stage, everyone was shouting 'Rewind Rewind'. Our names were called out loud. Really liked it a lot.

Jackson said at the time, "Now it's just the turn of the award. I'll be happy to receive the award."

Blake then said, "And what if we don't?"

Hazel said as if he was crying, "Then I'll cry."

We all laughed when we saw him crying .

Blake said to Hazel "It's good that you have become a singer. You haven't become an actor. Because if you wanted to try acting, you could never succeed. "

We laughed together hearing Blake.

Then I said, "No problem if we don't get the award. But we'll surely be hurt. But We'll do better in the future."

Blake nodded his head. Now we are waiting to announce the awards.

Emma Pov:

"Wow! Their performance has been great. Wow! Hazel looks so cute, doesn't he?"

Mia nodded at me and said, "Not only Hazel but everyone is looking very cute. But Carter is looking very hot."

I looked at Mia and said "Hmm, but Jackson looks hotter and Blake looks sexy."

I put my hands over my cheeks when saying that.

I said again "I don't know who looks more beautiful. Everyone looks very handsome and hot."

Mia and I both laughed.

Mia said, "Now it's just the turn of the award."

I looked at her and said, "We have to wait again. If only he had given the award right away!"

Mia tapped me on the head with her finger and said, "Be patient. They won't run anywhere."

I shook my head and looked at her with narrow eyes.

I looked at Mia and said " Wanna eat popcorn?"

She looked at me and said "Hmm."

We ate popcorn and watched the whole awards show. The Rewind Band did not receive the Best Artist Award, but they did receive the Best Album Award. Feeling bad and happy at the same time. It's 9 o'clock at night. Mia and I had dinner and fell asleep.

The sound of the alarm woke me up. It's 8.30 in the morning. Office at 10 o'clock. Mia and I had breakfast and went to work. It is now 9.45. I came to the office on time. Harry called me while I was sitting at the desk.

I went to him and said "Yes sir?"

He showed me a file and told me "Complete it and send it to me."

I nodded my head and walked over to my desk.

While I was working on the file, Thomas put his hand on my shoulder and said," You need help? "

He said in a way that I am someone who is too close to him. I was surprised by his behavior.

I did not look at him and said "Nah sir."

He sat down in the chair next to me and said, "Tell me if you need any help."

He leaned forward a little and said, " I will help in any way I can."

He looked at me from head to toe. I shrugged a little. Then he left.

While I was working I saw everyone in the office looking to one side. I also looked to see what they were looking at. I was so shocked looking at him.

I saw Hazel come into the company. This is the first time I see him. It's so nice to see him live. Hazel passed me and entered Harry's room.

After some minutes, Harry called me. I entered the room as I saw Harry, Thomas and Jack sitting next to Hazel.

Harry said to Hazel, "She's Miss Emma, ​​my assistant."

I looked at Hazel and said, "Hello."

I want to tell him a lot more. But I can't say a word. I don't know what to say. I don't understand why Hazel is here. I'm just looking at Hazel.

Hazel looked at me and smiled a little and said, "Don't look at me like that. I'm feeling like the two eyes of yours are gonna eat me."

This time I came back to reality. I bowed my head in embarrassment and smiled a little.

Jack said to Hazel, "Miss Emma is a big fan of all four of you."

He said that as he winked at me.

Hazel looked at me and said "Really!"

I nodded and said, "Hmm."

Then I stared at Hazel in surprise at what Harry had told me.
