Chapter 5 One Voice, One Heart

"Father .... !!! Are you okay? What happened? Where are Kimi and her family?" Takeo and the others asked.

Tatsuko couldn't even answer that! He just kept quiet and looked down, they couldn't wait for his father's answer, they immediately rushed out looking for Kimi and Michiko and their child.

"Kimiii ..., Michiko ..., Natsukoo.., Matsuu..., Where are you guys?"

But no answer!

They only saw his father's few soldiers in front of their yard, the soldiers also looked silent, mute, and bowed. Takeo, who was very close to Kimi kept asking the soldiers he met, "Where are Kimi and her family."

"Uncle."

Takeo turned his head and looked in the direction of the small voice that called him softly, Takeo butted the soldiers, he fell because he was impatient. The soldiers stepped aside and let Takeo walk towards the center, where they protected their master's son. Takeo found his nephew standing looking at him with teary eyes, Takeo immediately ran and hugged them tightly, at that moment they immediately burst into tears.

Unbeknownst to Takeo, a third person was being carried behind Natsuko's back, a tiny baby who was sleeping soundly without knowing her surroundings. Tatsuko felt he could no longer hide the deaths of Kimi and his daughter-in-law, the deaths of those whom Tatsuko wanted to keep secret for as long as possible.

Finally, he asked all his family to gather, with a heavy heart he told that Kimi and his wife had died on the battlefield a thousand years ago. Kimi's three children were still alive and well, they were outside with the Guards and Takeo. Then Tatsuko walked over to Natsuko and took Caysie from the sling on Natsu's back.

"This is Caysie, Kimi's third child, which Michiko gave birth to before she died. Her face is very beautiful and looks like a doll and she inherits beautiful hair and eyes like her parents," Said Tatsuko quietly.

Painful cries and screams echoed inside Jinten, deep sadness was felt with a dark aura in Tatsuko's family room, Nadeshiko then took Caysie from her husband's arms, she hugged her last granddaughter while kissing her forehead lovingly.

The sun has fallen and the day has replaced night, the rising moon seems to be sad today for the Tatsuko family, the kingdom is extinct and there are only a few soldiers left.

Nadeshiko didn't want Kimi and Michiko's death to break the spirits of the rest of her family so she got up and took her other daughter-in-law to the kitchen. They cook without speaking to each other because they have nothing to say. After a while, they came out bringing some food and serving it on the dining table in the open room behind the yard of her house.

Nadeshiko took her husband and children to dinner. While eating, her husband said, "How about we move to Jinsakou?"

His wife and children looked at each other, then replied, "Okay, we'll just follow dad."

The night was getting late and everyone was asleep, suddenly a voice sounded that shocked people!

"BRAKKKK...!!!"

Tatsuko jumped for a moment and got up from his bed, warily he walked towards the window to check for the loud noise earlier. The window of his room was tightly closed, besides that the door of the house was also closed, Tatsuko then thought it was just the wind, besides the guards who camped in front of his house did not report anything. He wanted to go back to sleep but the situation had spurred the adrenaline in his brain and kept him awake all night.

Finally, he decided to take a shower and wash his body with cold water, after Tatsuko showered and got dressed, he took a few guards back to Jinsakou. Arriving at the Jinten border, Tatsuko hesitated to open the secret door, many memories there. Tatsuko sighed, then looked for the secret door button and pressed it,

CLICK....the door opens.

"Let's go," he called to the guards.

Tatsuko and the guards followed the path and passed the "Mystery Lake".

Mystery Lake is a lake that has existed thousands of years ago, and this lake is the final testing ground for the successors of the Jinsakou family. And here resides the Jinsakou Ancestors who are also Judges for determining whether or not their families pass to get Shakou. This lake seems to have been frozen by Kimi, then Tatsuko walked back into the Main house. Seeing how much furniture was damaged, and a lot of debris piled up, it seemed that he had to do a major overhaul here.

"Mm, it took a very long time," Tatsuko thought.

"Let's clean up and move this rubble away," Tatsuko called out to the guards. While they were clearing the rubble, Tatsuko opened the gate of his castle, his eyes widened at the change that occurred in his mountain.

"What happened? How is that possible? Why is it so crowded? Why are there so many buildings!!!" He exclaimed while not believing what he saw in front of his eyes.

It was near noon that the sun rose very hotly, still in confusion, and a question mark Tatsuko invited the guards to return to Jinten.

"Later we will all move here, please prepare and pay attention to the things we will bring, pack it and separate it so that it is easier to arrange when you get to Jinsakou later." He said on the sidelines of their journey back to Jinten.

"Do you understand?" Tatsuko asked.

"Understood sir." They answered in unison.

Bypassing through the beautiful streets on the left and right, flowers are blooming and it makes the guards also enjoy the beauty and feel the rural atmosphere where they used to live far from Jinten or Jinsakou. Not long after they arrived at the village in Jinten, it was seen that in front of Tatsuko's house there was a long table that was deliberately provided by his wife and children for the guards. So many different kinds of food and dishes that they serve, from milk, cheese, meat, vegetables, bread, and fruits look neatly arranged. The guards were very happy and enthusiastic to see the food that was displayed in front of them.

Tatsuko then said, "Before you rest, please eat, the food that my wife and daughter-in-law have prepared."

The food is available at this table and you can take it as you like! Eat cheerfully, even if not much.

"This food is more than enough and can raise our energy, thank you, sir." They replied as they walked towards the table.

Then Tatsuko returned to his house and talked about what he had seen in front of the Jinsakou castle gate. His family couldn't believe it until they saw it with their own eyes. Then Tatsuko asked his family to tidy up and choose the things they would take to move to Jinsakou. Tatsuko saw that all the equipment and furniture, including the livestock and the seeds they were going to plant, were all brought without exception.

It was time to move house, they had all gathered in the front yard of Tatsuko's house, they turned their heads for the last time to see their old house. Tatsuko took a deep breath and said, "Let's go".

Arriving at the Jinten border, Tatsuko then stopped and invited his family and bodyguards to sit down for a while. His wife knew what was in his husband's mind, then she smiled and said to her husband, "I believe in you, you will protect and look after us and can rebuild Jinsakou. Come on open the door and don't hesitate anymore."

The secret door opened, Tatsuko and his family stepped in and set their feet on Jinsakou's land. There was a feeling of tightness in Nadeshiko's heart when she entered the room where she would later live for the rest of her life, a feeling of happiness and sadness at the same time being able to spend every day reminiscing about her son and daughter-in-law who had left her first. Everything that reminded Nadeshiko of Kimi overflowed instantly, her beloved son had gone to a quiet place with his wife.

She feel a single tear falling down her cheek, she quickly wiped away the tears that were pouring down, she tried to smile when her husband saw her. Tatsuko understood his wife's feelings very well, he put his arm around her and said, "Kimi and Michiko will always be with us."
