Chapter 8 MOVE VI

"Shit, Seb? Babe? Don't do this to me! Open your eyes! Open your fucking eyes! Seb-" I was cut off from giving my mate cpr by one of the filthy dogs

Looking up at the black wolf I growled as I imagined a thousand ways to tear him apart "I'm gonna fucking kill you!" I hissed before shifting and attacking him. In fury i slashed my paw at the wolf's neck but it was quick enough to move out of the way and instead of hitting his throat i hit his shoulder as he let out a pain filled howl. Bearing my teeth at him I didn't waist anymore precious as i could hear Sebastian's breath becoming even more shallow. In one swift jump i was over the black wolf my teeth deep in hhis neck and soon i was shaking my head back and forth as the black wolf howled in pain and not a second later the howling ended as the life left the wolf. Quickly turning back to my mate I couldn't help licking his wounded face before turning back into my human form. They say a mates saliva is supposed to help speed the healing even more. "Come on Seb. Please." I whispered as I cradled his head on my lap, moving the fallen hair from his face and since i was too engrossed in his well being I didn't realize that another wolf had come until a searing pain erupted from my shoulder down to my waist A gasp proceeded my blood curling scream as the pain intensified from the wolf pressing his claws even deeper in my back. Taking in a deep breath I slumped forward a bit as the wolf removed his claws from my back. Trying to keep my eyes open was harder than expected but I still gently placed Sebastian's head on the ground before stumbling up to my feat. "You shouldn't have done that." I seethed second before turning back into my wolf. True my moves were sluggish and i did acquire a few more wounds but soon the wolf that wounded me was next to its pack member who laid dead on the floor a couple of feet away from us. Tired and bleeding I couldn't do anything more than let a painful howl before laying over my mate so that if any other wolf comes they can't get to him easily. I could hardly keep my eyes open and i knew i was loosing consciousness and mind linking someone could could make them loose attention and in turn get them hurt and as i heard a howl nearing us i was too out of strength to do anything other than close my eyes. Sebastian's POV~ As I regained my consciousness the only thing i could hear was beeping machines and a soft and paced breathing pattern that wasn't my own. Opening my eyes i looked around me and sucked in a breath as i saw whose breathing i heard. Quickly taking the IV out of my arm i got out of the hospital bed and practically ran over to Dani who had multiple scars all over her arms and face, multiple IVs were attached to her arms and a heart monitor was the only thing that kept me from trashing the whole place as it reassured me that she's alive. "I see you're up." I heard Christopher say and as I turned around i saw him and Jaxon standing in the door looking half dead "What happened?" I asked not moving from Danis side "We won, jax and i figured why you hate us so much, and the two of you have been out for three days." Christopher said as he crossed his arms "What?" "Turns out you're the one. Let me tell you something man, this is only the start, he didn't send only his troops, rouges were involved as well." Jaxon said as he rested his shoulder against the wall Clenching my teeth was the only thing i could really do. "Listen man, we will protect Daniella with our lives, she's like our little sister, but you need to tell her, that's the actual way to protect her. And if you don't, i will before the next attack happens." Christopher said before they both left letting me slump down in the chair next to my mates bed. "Dani, don't leave me, I swear I'll tell you everything, just wake up princess." I whispered as i held onto her hand and i kept holding onto her hand until aunt Alex came "Hey honey, how are you feeling." She asked as she rested her hand on my shoulder. "I'm sorry." I whispered as guilt flooded my insides If I hadn't come than he wouldn't know and Dani wouldn't be like this "It's not your fault, you didn't know." She said making me turn to look at her so fast I'm surprised i didn't get whiplash She smiled softly as she patted my shoulder "Your dad told me." She said as she got a look on her face as if remembering what my father said. "I'm still sorry, I should've been the one protecting her, instead she's laying down in bed all scratched up and unconscious." I said as I lowered my head. "It's okay honey, go clean up, I'll be next to her don't worry." She said and even though I refused at first she kept insisting saying that when dani wakes up she'll want to see me out of a hospital gown and snelling nice not like antiseptic and so i left and took the shortest shower of my life and within ten minutes i was back by danis hospital bed in sweatpants and a muscle shirt my hair still wet but I didn't care all i cared about was her waking up and me being there And the next thing i knew was that five days later i was sitting next to her cursing that day as i felt a tear slip from my eye and landing on her hand that was unmoving. In the past five days she flatlined twice giving me the biggest heartaches that I've ever felt. "Please wake up princess, you're killing me like this." I said as I squeezed her hand still not lifting my head up until i felt her small hand squeeze my hand "Daniella?" I asked in a whisper that turned into a loud cheer as she finally opened her eyes making me pull her into a hug. Which wasn't the best idea as she winced at the pain. "Shit I'm sorry." I said giving her a cup of water when she pointed at it and as she drank the water i mind-linked her parents telling them that she's up. And after half an hour the doctor had already checked on her and her friends we coming and going as they came to check on her. "Thank you guys for coming, I'm fine I swear." She said giving everyone a smile as they left and stef was last to leave as he gave her a kiss the forehead and patted me on the shoulder. And after around five minutes of just standing by the foot of her bed and just looking at her she finally spoke "Aren't you gonna leave?" Daniellas POV~ It came out much more bitter and icy than i wanted but i know that he was gonna leave, so i didn't ask him to stay because I don't want to be rejected again but i was surprise when he walked over to me and instead of saying something hurtful he pulled me into a hug apologizing over and over until his voice broke and i felt something that oddly seemed like tears on my shoulder. "I'm glad you're okay.." he whispered before letting me go and taking a step back and only a few seconds later my mom, dad, brother and the doctor were in the room. After the doctor inspected me making sure that I'm fine and remember everything and everyone he left and my parents started smothering me with hugs "Guys I'm not dead and I don't have amnesia but if you keep hugging me like that I'll have at least one of the two." I said letting out a small laugh. "Next time you try saving someone make sure you wont end up in a coma or dead." Dad said as mom sat next to me and glared at me "You had me worried sick, and for someone who always tells me to relax I don't understand why you're always making me worried." She was seething and I couldn't do anything but smile innocently at her "Come on mom, she just woke up. Lets let her rest for a bit.." stef said and i sent him a grateful smile And after a bit of an argument everyone left, including Sebastian, and even though i just woke up i felt extremely exhausted and next thing i knew was me walking through the dark woods that seemed extremely scary, and then I noticed the little girl walking in-front of me, she was wearing a white dress and holding a white teddy bear by the hand. "Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked in a soft voice but the girl didn't even turn around and so i sped up a little and tried to put my hand on her shoulder. Keyword, tried. Next thing i knew my hand went straight through the blonde haired probably seven or eight year old. A sudden howl made me stop my track of thought and before i could turn around the little girl did, and i saw her face, or more like my face. A dream, this must be a dream.. And considering that this was the first time that I don't wake up screaming and not remembering a thing, i was pretty surprised and curious. And so I followed little me when she started to run. But she couldn't run for long before three men dressed in black and fully equipped surrounded me, or her... and I didn't need to be a genius to know that they were hunters. And I willingly ran over to them, asking, begging for them to help me. "Please mister, take me to my mommy, I cannot find my mommy." I cried as i tugged on on of the men's sleeve. "Does mommy turn into a big white wolf?" He asked kneeling before me and naive little me nodded my head hurriedly "yes mister, do you know mommy?" And he gave little me a sick evil smile as he nodded. "Let's go to mommy." He said making little me take his hand without question as he took me farther away and away from the pack. And when little me finally noticed that something doesn't add up and he's not taking her to mommy, it was too late, she was already in a van with the men speeding farther away from the pack. "When are we going to see mommy mister?" Little me asked not knowing where she's going "Soon." He answered but after about five minutes little me was starting to annoy them "Are we there yet mister?" She asked for the fifth time making him let out an angry huff "Knock her out for the sake of my sanity!" He shouted at one of his accomplices making little me start crying and annoying him even more and not a second later i was screaming as one of the men stabbed me with a tranquilizer needle, literally the motherfucker stabbed me with it. And oh how i wanted to wring him as he practically threw me on the seat. "Mother fucking Asshole." I grit out as I glared at him. And just as little me submitted to unconsciousness i woke up to someone shaking me. As I opened my eyes i saw Sebastian looking back at me with worried eyes. "What are you doing here?" I asked my voice scratch and sleep filled "I.. um- uh... i came to check on you and you were grounding your teeth way too hard and fists all clenched up... thought you were having a nightmare." He said scratching the back of his head "I was.." i said before taking a sip from the cup of water on the counter next to my hospital bed "was of the time i found out you were my mate and rejected me because you don't need a mate and you're so young." I continued looking at him and giving him a smile that said "just leave." "I know what i did was fucked up, and you may not forgive me-" "You're right, I'm not going to forgive you. You made your reasons very clear when you rejected me. Now leave." I cut him of with a harsh tone as I glared at him "Dani pl-" "Get. Out." I said again this time even harsher "B-" "I said get the fuck out Sebastian. Leave me the fuck alone before i do something we both regret." I said on the verge of punching him He let out a sigh of defeat and started walking away until he reached the door where he turned around and said three words that made me even angrier " I'll be back." And with that he left And then I immediately felt the anxiety building, it's not like I wanted him really gone, but the dream has me on edge, how can i not remember all of this? ~Sebastians POV~ "So did you tell her?" Asked Christopher as soon as i walked into the kitchen "I tried, she didn't listen, as much as i tried to tell her that we need to talk. She seemed like a different person.." I trailed off remembering how she was acting "What?" "I don't know, she kept insisting that i leave her or else she'd do something we'd both regret.. and she seemed oddly on edge... and i know for a fact that it's not from the incident." I said taking out a bottle of water from the fridge as i shook my head "How are you so sure?" Jaxon asked making me look at him ridiculously "Maybe because I've know her for only, well I don't know, her whole fucking life?!" I said sarcastically before sighing and sitting on one of the stools. "Listen, I'll tell her, I'll go over tonight, hopefully she'd be in a better mood." I said and as soon as i finished Stefan came running in and asked a question that had me cursing "Have you seen Dani?" "What the fuck do you mean have you seen dani?!" I shouted standing up and almost running over to him "Well.. she's definitely not here." He said making me almost hit him "Do you wanna die?" I asked sarcastically as I bunched his shirt in my fist "Chill man, I'm sure we'll find her, she's injured she couldn't have went far." He said shrugging making me clench my fist seconds away from punching him "Fo you not know your sister?!" I asked him insisting on the 'know' "For the sake of selene, we're not gourmet to find her like this!" Christopher said as he and Jaxon pulled me off of Stefan "How long has she been missing?" Jaxon asked "About as soon as Sebastian left?" He said with a sheepish smile as he rubbed his neck "Oh for fucks sake!" I shouted before taking off out of the kitchen and running towards her sent, or what i could get from it. 'You need to shift, i can get her scent much better than you' my wolf said and without a second thought I shifted mid sprint but after running all the way to the clearing her scent disappeared at the lake "Shit! Shit! Shit!" I cursed to myself as i shifted to my human form again and as soon as i saw a bubble of air pop on the surface of the lake I jumped without even thinking And as i swam deeper i saw her, looking like she was relaxing as she had her eyes closed and just letting her body be hugged by the water. And like the moron that i am, i swam even closer to her Making her open her eyes and in surprise letting the air out and almost swallowed some water but i was fast enough to breathe into her mouth as i swam us to the surface. "Why the fuck where you in there?!" I asked as soon as we resurfaced "I needed to think" she said after taking a breath and pulling away from me. "And that's how you fucking think?!" I almost shouted at her "Well, everyone has their own peaceful heaven." She replied shrugging "You could've at least told someone" i said as i took a breath to relax myself "What do you care anyway?" She asked in a defensive tone making me sigh "Let's get you out of here first, I'll tell you when we're dry and warm. Don't want you to get any more sick." I said trying to postpone as much as possible knowing she's gonna hate me after she finds out the truth
