The next morning.

April's phone rang loudly while she was still in bed, she sat up yawning lazily, she picked up the phone.

"Hello Marie".

"Hey baby April, are you free today, let's go out and have some fun".

"Marie i don't know yet, i'm still in bed and i haven't even prepared the kids yet". April responded tiredly.

"Common April, it's holiday season and the kids don't have school, drop them off at your aunt's Victoria or something".

April didn't have strenght to argue so she just agreed to go out with her.

"Ok, Marie see you at noon by 3pm.

April got up from the bed and did her morning rituals. She bathed the kids and also prepared them.

At exactly 10:00pm that morning she told them what was on her mind.

"Kids, i'll be going out with a friend today and i can't leave you all alone with grandma and your aunt Regina so as to avoid trouble. So, i'll drop the both of you at aunt victoria's place. Is that okay"?.

"Yes mom". They chorused.

April left the room with her kids and went downstairs to the sitting room. She looked round the sitting room for her mother-in-law and her sister-in-law but didn't find either of them.

She beakoned to a maid.

"Where is Mrs. Rose and Regina".

"Ma'am April they're still asleep in their rooms". The maid impatiently replied and walked away briskly not giving April the opportunity to ask more questions.

"Looks like we'll leave without informimg them".

April drove over to aunt Victoria's place and dropped the kids after a brief chat she drove off to meet up with Marie.

In London.

After a long day at work, which include meeting new clients signing of documents and sealing new deals, Michael went home; Tyler's apartment.

He had a bath, had dinner and sat in the living room with Tyler who was working out.

Micheal watched Tyler's workout session for close to thirty minutes before shaking his head.

"I'm amazed at how much dedication you put in working out".

"You've been watching me, well good for you".

Tyler saw that Micheal wanted to say something , so he beakoned him to say it.

Michael hesitated for a while before speaking.

"Tyler, do you think i should call April?, do you think she's still mad at me". Micheal said seeking Tyler's opinion.

Tyler sat up from his workout bench and faced Micheal. "You wanna know what i think"?.

Michael nodded his head.

"I think you should hop on the next available flight to Georgia and go make it up to your family".

Michael looked at him confused, as if trying to digest what he just said.

" What!!!, Tyler are you out of your mind?, this deal so huge, i can't abandon it just like that". Michael brawled after putting together and understanding what Tyler just said.

"I just gave my own opinion brother, do what you want". Tyler concluded then stood up from his bench and walked away".

"Maybe i should just call her and apologise to her, i pray she listens to me".

Micheal brought out his phone and dialed April's number.

"Pick up your phone, pick up your phone".

Mrs. Rose O'neil recieved a call from Anne asking her to meet up in one of the resturants downtown. Mrs. Rose quickly changed her dress to something simple, wrapped a scarf over her head and went out of the house.

After driving for thirty minutes she reach the resturant and was quite disappointed.

Anne saw Mrs. Rose approaching her and she quickly stood. When she had reached Anne, they hugged each other tight, after they disengaged, Mrs Rose took a sit. She looked around the middle class resturant with disgust clearly visible in her face.

"Mom, are you okay". Concerned Anne asked.

"I'm just wondering why you chose this classless place, this place dosen't befit our status my dear Anne".

"Mom, i'm just being careful. I don't want anyone to recognise us or worse see us togethere, i'm sorry mom".

"It fine it's totally fine".

"Are you sure?, we can just go somewhere else if you want". Anne suggested.

"No, don't bother yourself Anne". Mrs Rose reassured her.

"Mother, the reason why i called you here is so that we can think of the next step to take. Micheal created for us the perfect opportunity".

"Yes, my dear Anne. April is very vulnerable and messing with her head would be the best way to execute our plan. That's a very simple thing to do tho'.

What are you going to do about Micheal?".

Mrs Rose asked Anne.

"I'll be travelling back to london very soon, i'll do whatsoever i have to do there in time". Anne concluded.

"Nice having you here mother. I'll have to leave now, i have a very important meeting with a friend". Anne bowed and left.

Now Mrs. Rose was all alone at the resturant.

"Our plan is just like a ticking time bomb, you won't know what hit you April".

April arrived the beach at exactly 2:58pm expecting to see Marie. But she was no where to be found. She called and called until she was tired of calling. She just decided to chill.

"Who on earth comes to the beach to relax and leaves their full clothes on"?.

April turned to the voice only to see Benjamin. Even Benjamin was equally surprised.

"What are you doing here Ben?, are you stalking me"?. Puzzled April asked.

"Why would i do that?. I came here to meet a couple of friends but seems like they all ditched me".

"I also came here to hang out with a friend but she isn't here yet".

April said in a disappointed tone.

"Since our friends ditched us, maybe we should just hang out together". Ben suggested.

"I don't think that's a great idea, besides i'm a married woman. What if someone i know sees us"?.

"You're married dosen't mean you shouldn't hang out with other people or have fun. Ok, you know what?, think of this as a payment for the favour i did you"?.

April looked at him annoyingly. "Assuming you had told me that i'll have to repay the favour of that tiny help you rendered, i wouldn't have let you help me at all".

"And risk getting raped or worse killed"? He asked.

"I don't care as long as they are more considerate than you".

"Well what's your answer Mrs April".

April looked at him and did a menntal check list if all the consequences invoved if someone she knew saw her on the beach with another man.

"The consequences aren't much". She muttered within herself.

"Let go".

April and Benjamin bagan walking on the shore of the beach. April used her feets to play with the sand embracing it's coolness.

"You still haven't told me about yourslf Mrs. April". Benjamin broke the silence.

"There's nothing much about me, but if you insist; I'm April O'neil by name. 27 years old orphan girl who grew up in an orphanage. Adopted by a foster mother at age 19, finished college at 18, got married to the love of my life at age 21, had my twins at age 22, now here i am". April concluded with a bright smile as the memories came flooding back to her.

"Wow, you've had a pretty good life". Benjamin complimented.

"Would have been better if i had my parents with me, never knew them. I suffered so much at the orphanage". April said sadly.

Not wanting to spoil the moment Benjamin switched topic.

"Micheal O'neil??, isn't that the son of business tycoon Harry Darcy O'neil"?.

April nodded.

"You're lucky. But 21; wasn't that too early?, not like i'm condeming but a lot of people go into marriage without solid preparation. Before getting married you need to know what you're going to face in it and be prepared for it, discuss certain issues and conclude on others". Benjamin explained.

"We were in love and nothing else mattered, we just wanted to be in each other's arms. But right now i don't even know where we stand anymore".

"Is that the reason why you were crying the other night?, Mind to tell me what happened"?.

At this point April remembered that she barely knows Benjamin, she shouldn't be talking to him or even telling him issues about her private life.

"I'm sorry i can....".

She couldn't complete her statement as she heard a familiar voice calling her name from behind. They both turned around and she gasped.

"What on earth Marie, i've been here since 2:58pm and this is the time you're arriving?

"I'm so sorry April, i had to meet a very important client today and the meeting took longer than expected". Marie apologised.

Marie looked at Benjamin and ran her eyes over him in quick motion.

"Hmmmm, who is this hot dude April?, is he your side chick"?. Marie asked April while displaying sexy body movements and looks to Benjamin.

"Marie!!!, stop saying things like that. He's just a friend".

"Hi, i'm Benjamin". Benjamin stretched out his hand towards Marie for a handshake.

"Come on, stop being so formal". Marie moved close to him for and engulfed him in a tight hug.

Nervous Benjamin just gave a messy smile.

"Marie stop inconveniencing the poor guy". April said feeling sorry for Benjamin.

"It's okay, it's fine. No need to fuss about it, April". Benjamin assured her.

Taking Marie's hand and holding unto it tightly April faced Benjamin "Nice meeting and talking to you Benjamin".

"I hope we can do this again tho', no hidden intentions, we can just sit over a cup of coffe and talk". Benjamin suggested.

"I...... don't think that a great idea Benjamin".

Marie gave April the 'Are you serious" look before replying Benjamin.

"Benjamin that's a perfect idea, do you need her number?, come on bring out cell and take it".

Benjamin looked at April not sure whether or not to take the contact from Marie, but as he saw April looking at Marie speachless, he took his chance.

"2654789076, Save it as beautiful April". Marie concluded and walked away, this time holding April because she was too stunned to move a limb.

After they had moved a long distance April faced Marie.

"Marie, i honestly do not approve what you did back there. Girl you're wild". April first cautioned her before smiling.

"Girls gotta be wild baby".

"But i'm married and i don't fancy giving my phone number out to men especially single ones. What if he starts calling me non-stop?, what if Michael picks up his call one day"?. April asked worriedly.

"Don't worry. And Michael, he isn't even home, he's gone a business trip remember"?. Marie remarked.

"How did you know that?, i haven't spoken to you about Michael since we started hanging out, so how come?". April asked puzzled.

She saw Marie's facial expression change from normal to scared, but she covered it up immediately.

"You have such a short memory April. Of course you told me. That day we bumped into each other at the boutique, you told me. All that dosen't matter".

Marie said trying to dismiss the issue.

"All, i'm just trying to say is that you shouldn't be so tight towards other men. The fact that you're married dosen't mean you shouldn't mingle, you're still young, make the most of it".

Marie said and walked away.

"What you're thinking will never hppen Marie, i'm married and i love my husband"?.

April said aloud after Marie.

April wasn't really bothered about what Marie said. Marie had always been sassy and wild since their college days.

She dosen't mean any harm right??
