Chapter 4 The First Saphire

We continued walking and Zoltark joined us.

-They're all taken care of Kae, I'll take them to their accommodations. I hope it's to your liking. – We went down a small street and entered a hut that looked like a fairy. – The food is in the kitchen, help yourselves, shower and rest. If you want, there are books and games available in the room. Have a good night.

-Good night and thank you Zoltark. See you tomorrow.

-Good night, Zolt, we'll talk tomorrow, but if necessary, come and call me. Rest and release the soldiers. We all need sleep. The barrier is redone, bigger and stronger than before." Zoltark nodded and took off. They were alone and entered the cabin.

aeidh showed the room and the bathroom and toiletries. He left and went to the kitchen to see what they had to eat. He separated breads, fruits, cheeses, the wonderful broth of vegetables and leaves typical of the village. He arranged everything on a tray and slammed the door, waited a little, heard nothing and went back to the kitchen, placed the tray on the table and waited. He heard her call him and was quickly taking the tray, knocked on the door again, she answered.

- In between. – Kaeidh entered and was surprised. She was wrapped in a giant towel, only her arms hanging out and her wet hair hanging down her back. Skin still slightly damp from the water vapor, she said sheepishly.

– I don't know where to find clothes and mine are stained with blood. I was in doubt, I looked but couldn't find it. I just thought about calling you. Sorry. I didn't bring anything with me, I thought we'd go back to the castle today.

Kaeidh took a deep breath, had held her breath and forgotten to breathe again. He opened and closed his mouth and said:

- Lapse my tarine, I should have asked Zoltark to provide something. I'll see in the other room if I can find any suitable attire. Your food, our food is here, I thought we'd have dinner together. If you want, of course

-Yes, I do - she said smiling

-I will be back in a moment. – said Kaeidh

She quickly left the room and took a calming breath. What a sight, it looked like a goddess, her tarine.

'May she accept me someday gods,' he muttered to himself as he went into another room and found a room for clothes, tried to find something like her proper size, pulled out a pile of clothes and underwear and piled it up in her arms to take away to her. He went back to the room she was in, put his clothes on a chair just beside the door, knocked again, and called.

– The clothes are here. I picked up a lot of things, I don't know what you would like to wear. It even has underwear. – He looked at her – I... I'll go out and wait outside. Please call me when you are ready.

He went back into the bedroom and took a quick shower while he waited, changed his clothes and heard her call. He left and headed towards the living room, she was sitting in tight pants and a lilac blouse a little tight for her but adequate even. She looked beautiful, her hair down for the first time he saw her and that was because she had been in his castle for a month, both studying everything that came to them, all the scrolls and memory crystals from all the places and villages. There was still a lot to do.

-Hi, I heated the broths again, they had cooled down. Apologies for the delay. I hope you don't mind eating here in front of the fire. It's so cozy I thought...

– You don't need to explain anything, it's great here, everything is actually great. Thanks, it's perfect, perfect, everything.

They ate talking about the day's events. Both intrigued by the protective Cadmy's dream of the Forgotten. They were curious about the dream.

- That's why I decided to stay here tonight, I'm sorry if I didn't ask you about it, but I thought it would be more practical and as clothes are a first-need item, I didn't think we would have any difficulties. Are the ones I separated good for you? If you want, go to the other room and have a look if you see something you prefer.

– No need, I'm fine, really. You look great too in those dark pants and shirt, so far I've only seen you in light colors and your tunic.

-Don't you like my tunics? It's usually the clothes I wear during official crown meetings, but I usually dress that way in my spare time.

-So, I'm an official date, since I've seen you so far only with your official clothes? And they are beautiful, your tunics, you are very handsome and look good in any outfit, I'm sure.

– No, it's not official, but at the same time it is. The truth is, I only relax on family occasions, but not anymore. You'll see me in all kinds of clothes, as you commented and you don't see any problems with the informal ones. - She smiled

– No, I don't see. I only see a good man, kind and respectful to everyone who knows him.

- I would like to spend more time informally with you, would you? Could I... would I have your permission, for in the midst of all this, the prophecy and the studies, to see each other... just to talk and get to know each other more? I know you have many doubts and don't know who to trust...

- I would like. – She said simply looking him in the eye – I would like it very much. I trust you Kaeidh, I see how you treat people, beings, everyone. I admire you, you are one of the most valuable people I have met since I woke up, help everyone, be friendly friend, it would be an honor to be with you. And I'm not sure what happens, but I feel something when it's close. -She closed her eyes - And apparently I'm a person who speaks what he feels. Sorry if I'm pushing the limits." She laughed and opened her eyes. He was open-mouthed looking at her, held her hands and her skin lit up again.

– I'm speechless, all I wanted was for you to say this. I've felt the same for some time and I didn't speak for fear of scaring you. After all, you don't know me, you don't even know much about yourself. I felt I had to give you space.

– I think we have to do the things we want, I believe in freedom, I believe in what I feel and I know I really speak what I think, if I don't want me to do something I'll speak and when I want too. I expect the same from you. And if you want... you can kiss me Kaeidh.

There was no time for anything, he just kissed her.

A sweet, careful, loving kiss, her warm lips touching, the delicious scent of his breath, she wanted to just breathe his breath. Slowly his tongue touched hers, braiding it deliciously and the kiss deepened.

Through the slits in his eyelids he noticed Kaeidh's body lighting up all over and smiled in ecstasy.

Her body heated and he thought it was blazing again, but Kaeidh pulled her even closer, moaning into his mouth. Bodies of hers now, sticking together, like her lips, both heated. Touching every inch of her body, Kaeidh's reverent hands danced through her hair, shoulders, arms, back, waist and hesitantly stopped there.

She wanted more, but at the same time, she wanted to enjoy every little moment between them. She let her hands roam his torso. Strong arms and a broad back ending in a slim waist. A tall man and she loved every inch of him. He was beautiful beyond all other qualities and now she was savoring him and feeling him beyond admiration for being the person he was. Feeling lust for him, yearning for his kiss, his touch.

It was right

Reverence.

That word had been in Kaeidh's mind since the beginning of the kiss.

She would be touched by him with reverence, it was everything to her, at the same time it was to him.

That knot she'd felt, all this time in her chest since he'd first seen her, that pent-up emotion.

The fear of scaring her with his passion still lingered. But the emotion she caused him was shown without barriers. Finally he could demonstrate how much she affected him.

Reverence.

She was a goddess and he was captive to his divinity, spontaneously, deliciously.

Every shiver, every part of him that touched her, her skin, was delicious.

On fire again. She startled and jumped back in fear of burning Kaeidh but he just opened his eyes and asked if something was wrong.

She lifted her hands and looked at herself, the flame covering her body. But he hadn't burned Kaeidh anywhere. She glanced at him quickly, looking for any sings.

"It's beautiful," he said and touched her.

– I can burn you! – and he held her.

– It's not tarine, calm down. Look." He placed his hand in hers and her blue flame played in his, just warming and playing. "It's beautiful.

– I set my bed on fire.

He smiled

- I heard, my sister said. I'll take you to a place to learn to control your power or powers, if you want. There is someone who can help you control the fire, more than you are now. But that will be seen tomorrow. – He got up and helped her up, hugged her and kissed her forehead – Now, despite how much I wanted to stay awake with you, touching you, we need sleep, we have a lot to do tomorrow.

He said good night and each went to a room.

Even wishing they were in the same place.

It dawned.

Kaeidh opened her eyes, sighed remembering everything that had happened the day before. smiled happy

If she knew how she felt, she looked at the ceiling. He smelled her on him.

"Ecstasy," he muttered and drew in a breath, feeling her scent on his skin.

He got up and went to the bathroom to clean up. He brushed his teeth and washed himself in the clear water quickly. He dressed and walked out towards the kitchen. He prepared breakfast, thinking about what might surprise her taste buds today. He would love to see her expression of pleasure again as she had the night before when tasting the fruit. He was dying to kiss her lips full of sweet fruit juice.

She forgot woke up to a very good smell of food and her stomach rumbled, she giggled, she was happy, he was there. Kaeidh, somewhere in the house, probably in the kitchen, since the air smelled so good with food. He was full of surprises apparently. He got up and ran to wash up.

He thought about the night before and how perfect it had been.

She couldn't believe her reaction to him! Her way of reacting to him was surprising and she wanted to take advantage of everything it could give them. She was determined to live this with Kaeidh as long as he wanted. She dressed quickly, combed her hair and left. She walked to the kitchen and found him, on his back, deep in thought, so tall, so handsome. She arrived and slowly hugged him.

He felt her arms go around him from behind and had his face leaning against her back.

- Good morning - she said, startling him slightly - what a wonderful smell. – she said, sniffling into her shirt.

Kaeidh turned in surprise at her spontaneity. He hugged her and looked into her eyes.

Her Âme sœur was a gift.

- Never, in all my life, had a night and a more perfect start to the day than this. – He smiled and hugged her, kissing the top of her head – Good morning tarine. How was your night?

- It was great. And yours? - She looked at him.

– I rested a lot. – she stood on tiptoe and kissed him. – I'm hungry.

- Gods tarine, it drives me crazy.

We need to eat. Come on, I prepared our meal. - he said pulling a chair for her and then sitting at the table. She put the hot food on her plate and helped herself afterwards.

She smiled, taking some bread with some sort of pate to her mouth.

-Ah, in addition to the beautiful kitchen well. -she said - deserves more kisses. - She smiled at him

- So I deserve kisses for cooking? I'll make food for the rest of my days for your kisses. I would like it very much, it would be my greatest pleasure to cook, get kisses and see you delight in food. What an excellent life I will have!

They laughed and ate and left the cabin going straight to the compound. At the door Zoltark was talking to some people from the village who had already recovered and were going home with their families.

- Good morning Zolt, would you like to accompany me to Cadmy? We have to talk to her. In addition to the attack, which we want to know about, she said she dreamed of the Forgotten.

-Good morning Kae and Forgotten. She's already awake. She is very strong. Let's talk to her.

They entered the building and saw her in a hurry, helping the people who were still there to take care of the weaker ones. Zoltark called her and she came towards us, we went to a quiet part with cushions to sit on. She said:

- Good morning Kaeidh and Forgotten, or should I call you by her name? Because he was the one I dreamed of. Someone...another woman called her Saphyre. – The Forgotten looked at Kaeidh, surprised, said: -Yes, my name is Saphyre. Gods!

"As you know," continued Cadmy, "we bridge keepers had long since been hibernating. No one who had bad intentions during that time could cross the bridges not where you came from, the forest, not anywhere else. We had been sleeping for a while because we used our powers fully for protection, we made a shield between us around the villages and kingdoms of peace so that we would never be touched by the Tentri. Only those who were of peace could enter and leave. You woke us up because you are one of the chosen ones. The First, the one with the blue flame, Saphyre.
