Chapter 5 22nd day

After Blythe knowing that Lucas always like her. She ready herself to apologize on Lucas.

Blythe and Lucas talking...

"I heard everything. I heard that you always liked me." Blythe said to Lucas. "What?" Lucas asked.

"I remember our contract saying that you shouldn't have indecent feelings." she said.

"It's not indecent. It's real. That's not allowed either?" he said.

Quiet for a minute... "Why did you like me and how long have you liked me?" she asked.

"I fell for you because you looked so amazing singing. And I thought nyoy looked pretty since then." he said while having a poker face because they having some contract love quarrel.

"When I was singing?" she asked. "In march, in the broadcast room." he said.

Back then in march. Since Lucas is part of broadcast club he is the one who is assigned to record the song of Blythe in the school. And then the auto tone is having some error.

So Blythe said that "It is okay, I can sing without it." she said. Blythe start singing, and her voice was so angelic. That's why Lucas fell for Blythe.

"Are you finished?" he asked to Blythe.

"One more thing. Earlier, kissing you like that. I'm really sorry. I really regret doing that." Blythe said with a sad face.

"If you're really sorry, take it back(the kiss) and do it for real later. Sincerely." he said.

After that conversation... they both go to the gym to test their heartbeat. All the students are there. And Blythe will be the one testing her heartbeat.

While Blythe was sitting on the chair she see Lucas standing right there. She is blushing, because she suddenly remember what Lucas said earlier.

The tester of heartbeat is making a loud noise, it seems like it is broken.

"I think it is broken." Blythe said.

"Do you have high blood pressure? Or arrhythmia? Why is your heart beating so fast?" the teachers asked.

It is because of Lucas. She is falling for Lucas, but in their contract said that don't fall in love while doing the contract.

"My precious student...Get on my back! We have no time to lose. Hurry!" the teacher said because he is worried about Blythe.

While that is happening, Oliver was watching it. And he see that Blythe and Lucas are having a contact eye while smiling. "Whew..." Oliver said while angry.

At the baseball field... Oliver was practicing so hard. He is putting all his strength. Because he is angry about the relationship of Blythe and Lucas.

"Aishhh!!!" he shouted. "Things don't always work. Don't mind it too much." his co-player said.

In the entertainment which Naomi and Blythe is one of the trainee.

-monthly evaluation-

"I know you've been working hard on preparing for the monthly evaluation. First... Naomi? Generally, you look like an amateur. Entire song was flat tone. Your dance didn't have any strength. It's totally disaster. Nobody would think you've been a trainee for 6 years." their trainer said.

"I'll work harder next time." Naomi said with a sad face.

Sigh.... "I don't think it's about working harder. Anyways, good job." their trainer said.

"Thank you." Naomi said, but inside Naomi was about to cry.

"And Blythe..." the trainer said. "Yes." Blythe immediately answer.

"How long have you been a trainee? I asked to compliment you. How much practice does it yake for you to be this good? Did you really prepare for just 4 years? I got goosebumps listening yo your song." their trainer said.

"Thank you." Blythe said with a smile on her face. But on other side, Naomi was jealous to Blythe. Cause she's been practicing 6 year's but she's not that good.

"Everyone, just try to be like Blythe. Got it?" their trainer said.

"Yes..." they said. "Congratulations." Naomi said to Blythe.

"No. You were good to. For real." Blythe said. Naomi was so dissapointed.

It is morning... At the university...

"Naomi!" Lucas shouted. Lucas waved at Naomi. Naomi smiled...

"Ohh where did it go?" Blythe asked. "Are you looking for something?" Farrah asked.

"My earphone. I always put it here, there's no way I would've lost it." she said.

"Yeah that's weird. Why are you the only one losing things these days?" said by Farrah.

"Blythe... Lucas Relish wants to see you." Naomi said.

Lucas was on the door holding a paper bag waiting for Blythe.

"Why?" asked by Blythe. "I'm here to give you this." Lucas said.

"What's that?" she asked. "Article 9. Wear a couple item. Since we've been together for 22 days, this is my gift." he said while smiling.

"We're not kids, who celebrates 22nd day?" Blythe said.

"We're still kids. We need to celebrate these while we can." he said. Blythe giggles.

"Wow." Blythe said. " It's a backpack called roof. I thought it would look good on you. I heard it's famous for being a couple item with hook backpack. And it turns out that I have hook." he said while being shy.

"I'll take it since I can't just ignore you gift. But, let me pay for dinner today. Think about what you want to eat." Blythe said.

Lucas immediately agree.

While Blythe and her friends enjoying the backpack. Oliver sees it. And he suddenly remember their anniversary back then.

Back then in 2020 spring. Blythe was waiting outside for about 5 hours. "I'm sorry. My practice ended late. Since when have you been waiting?" Oliver asked to Blythe back then.

"3pm." she answered. " I told you I'm not sure when will the practice end. You should've have stayed." he said.

"Here." Blythe said.

"What is this?" Oliver asked. " Be honored. That you've been dating me for 100 days " she said.

And Oliver forget about that. "Right, 100 days anniversary. I'm really sorry but I have dinner with baseball club members." he said.

"That works fine. I need to go practice anyways. See you later." she said. Blythe was leaving having a dissapointed face.

That's why Blythe doesn't want to date Oliver ever again. Cause back then until now, he doesn't have time for Blythe.

And now Oliver is blame for that. Because now it seems like Blythe and Lucas are good.

Back then Oliver always focus on baseball. And Blythe was the one who always wait for him.

But now Blythe doesn't want that anymore, she's happy with the contractual relationship...
