Chapter 4 First Date from

"uhm!, my order is beef broccoli."

When finished to sittle the orders. Kristina call the waiter and she talk to her about the orders. Then I talk to Carl for his not feeling bored.

"how's your day Carl?."

"it was fine, and happy."

"ow!, why you happy?. You don't feel lonely?."

"yes!, like that! and you?, how's your work?."

"it's fine, always good."

"that's great, your not feel lonely too?."

"yes I am not. Because I'm happy with the kids. They make me happy, and strong every day."

They stop talking when my phone is ringing. Kring! Kring! Kring!, I immediately took it out from my bag. I saw its mom calling.

"hello mom!, good evening sorry for not calling you."

"it's, ok sweety! Just asking if you going home now?."

"sorry mom, tell dad too. I need to overtime now. I can't go home!."

"ok sweety, take your time. And don't scape your dinner."

"yes mom. I'm here already eating the dinner with Kristina."

"ok sweety!, I love you, I miss you."

"i love you too mom, and miss you too and dad. Tell dad I miss him. A lot."

"ok!, sweety! Bye! Bye!." I heard that voice while he say it. And I miss him a lot.

Then the food is delivered in our table. We start to eat and we injoy the yummy food.

"thank you for the yummy dinner Carl." Kristina say it.

We talked so much while eating. It's a fun someone treat you a dinner. Feel like not strange to Carl. I feel comfortable to him.

"uhrg!, what feelings it is.is he feel like this too. like I feel to him."

After we ate i invited Carl to take us to work.

"Can you take us to work first?."

"ok sure, let's go."

Then we going out in the restaurant and get going to the Car. Then we get inside the car and Carl start the car. Then few minutes. We already in the work place.

"then we are about to enter. "

"All right, but if it's okay with you, I'll pick you up later."

"uhm!, 3am end of my work."

"it's fine I pick you up here!."

"really?, but you may just be awake."

"no it's ok with me."

"oww sure?, If I don't bother you, then you can send me later."

"no you're not bothering me. So I pick you up later, thanks."

Then I nodded him, and we left him.

I entered the nursery room. There are a new born baby again. Under observation my excitement job. Because I can care a gain a baby.

When I'm in my monitoring I saw Alex a cute baby boy. He smiled me so I come near him and a play a little bit to him.

"hello!, baby boy how's your feeling?, why your so smile at me." the baby smile. Oh!, your so cute baby Alex. so you need to be strong huh!. "

Then I ask her mom." how is he mommy?,.

"He feel good I think he always smile. Dr. Vic!, say he's in a good condition. But still observation I'f he still good health."

"sound good mommy!, we pray for his fast recovery."

she nodded me. "Yes miss selva."

And I smiled her. "good mommy and I helped you to pray for Alex well."

I carry Alex and play in a while. His not my patient but I know theme. If I'm in a overtime I located here!. That's why I know the other patients of this area.

while Alex feel asleep. I put it down in here bed. And I handed him over to his mother.

"Mommy you always take care of alex huh!."

"Yes miss Selva I will."

I patted his shoulder to agree with what he said. Then I left her.

A saw nurse Mae. Open the door. Then we don't have nothing to do much so we 'cheatchat' little bit.

"hello nurse Mae!, how are you? You're over time too?"

"yes!, and I know you are too. So that's why im here too. I'm not alone, a tough im alone so feel bored. But im happy you're with me." and she smiled at me.

"then!, why your late?

" I over sleep sorry!. "

" ow!, thats good. "

hehehe!," I hope you too have little sleep. "

" nop!, We came from outside earlier, so I don't have time to nap. "

" oh! I see, Kristina told me that. "

" so fast the news ah!."

"not like that I ask her where she from. Then she say she's with you, eat out side."

"nothing and you're so annoying, So start working there. Stop talking a nonsense to me." At once I laughed at her.

Our night was not difficult. Because there is no emergency, I just entertain myself.

Checking the children's records, and their conditions. And what medicine can they take then.

Sooner they have knocking the door and i open it. Because im nearest in the door, then a saw a man bring a food.

"delivery to mis Dianne." He handed it to me, so I accepted it.

Then I ask him. " who is this from?."

"uhm!.. Ma'am !. He didn't say her details."

"ah!, his a man?"

"yes!.. Ma'am!."

"ok!."

"thank you ma'am, and they have a letter too. Much better you read it then you have clue If who is he."

"ok!, I read it later. Thank you!."

"your welcome ma'am. Then I got to go."

"uhm!, I nodded him. And he left.

I read the letter.

'Take a break first, I sent you a snack so you won't got hungry. Don't let yourself down. See you later, I'll wait for you.

I smiled, then Mae saw it while I'm smiling.

"what!..that!. Dianne why you're smiling?."

She approached me. "Me I see!." And he grabbed the letter I was holding.

She read it. "oi!, Dianne!, is this Carl?"

I nodded. "Yes!, he is."

"ow!, finally you have already a lover."

"Mae!.. Not a lover, He hasn't flirted yet ok!."

"That's going to be there too."

"uhm!, I can't say it for now!."

"ok!, then we eat the donuts."

And we go to the table. Then we start to eat it. Then Mae ask me an annoying question.

"Dianne! What if he likes you, he wants you to be here wife. What you can do?."

"uhm!, i say it in second time. If he's a good person and he accept what about me oh what I am. Why not!."

"Mae!, you know I'm not interested a guy. But him!, he's defferent. I feel like a thrill to him only. so why I waited long."

"In fact you are right, so when do you plan to answer him?."

"your so fast Mae. He's not flirting me eather ok, so we wait when it happen."

"ok!.. Ok!.. Fine!, you say you don't like to waiting long. Then now I'm so fast."

"Hahahaha!, your annoying Mae!, stop doing that again."

"hahahaha!, it's up to you!." then she left me while still loughing.

"your so annoying at all Mae."

"ok!.. Fine!.. Thanks for the snack I'm so full."

I don't have anything else to do, and Mae is on the other side. she's bussy because she does a lot of checking so I can't talk to her. The parents who were watching over their children were already asleep too, so i couldn't talk to anyone.
