Chapter 5 Her Baby's Daddy Is Mr CEO

Arianna went in search of a job. Finding a clean job at that very moment was quite difficult in Las Vegas, but luckily for her, she did find it at a restaurant. It was quite embarrassing that a graduate had to take up a job of grilling chicken, but that was how difficult the country was for people of her status.

In the present world, the rich keeps getting richer while the poor get more miserable, there was always discrimination between those two because the elite class and lower class can never be compared as equals. Even to give out jobs, were on the basis of favoritism and prejudice.

To get a good job, most of the people in that position requested to get in bed with her first but Aria would rather sleep with pigs than offer her body to those shameless men in exchange for a job. She was no Virgin Mary but she had her dignity to protect and self respect to keep.

She was a girl trained with the right morals and character. Dave had been her second boyfriend and only man to take her to bed, she had let him be intimate with her because she loved him and had plans of spending forever with him, but now she realized that doing that was a terrible mistake.

He claimed to only love her as a friend, so why did he then propose an intimate relationship to her? Why did he take her to bed if he did not love her that way? He took away her dignity and then abandoned her. Now to make things more difficult, a random man shows up from nowhere and takes advantage of her on the same night.

Arianna was not upset because this man had sex with her, he did not force her into it and if she was to be honest, the few memories of that night she had was enjoyable, she had woken up the next morning feeling much better. Her only pain was that he just left without even a goodbye; she did not even get to know his name.

Arianna returned from work for the day, she was very exhausted and slumped onto the bed. Her baby bump was six months old now; three more and she would be put to bed.

“Hey girl, how was work today?” Rosie asked as she walked into the bedroom with a tray of fruits.

“Stressful.” Arianna groaned. “Is that for me?”

Rosie came closer and handed over to her the assorted fruits. “Yes, it’s not like I enjoy all this.”

Arianna smiled. “Awn… that is so sweet of you, this is just what I needed.”

Rosie jumped onto the bed and took a magazine from the bedside cupboard. She started to flip through the pages with a grin on her face.

“Wow… this guy is cute and so dreamy, look at his eyes,” she said, admiring a picture in the magazine.

Arianna chuckled and shook her head. “Are you still going crazy about those men? By the way, I thought you have read that magazine a million times already!” She exclaimed.

Rosie laughed. “First of all, I don’t buy them to read them, I only go through the pictures to be familiar with this city`s millionaires and billionaires, so in case I come across them someday, I would be able to recognize them. Now as for reading it a million times, I bought this one today so please give me a break.”

Arianna couldn’t help herself but to laugh at her best friend`s behavior. Rosie has a knack for all rich men; she secretly crushes and dreams of them not minding if they are married. Arianna had told her several times to stop dreaming about these men, it was time she realized that people of their level had nothing to do with such men.

“So it is a new one, well let me see,” Arianna said and stretched her hand to have it.

“Oh! So now you want to crush too?” Rosie asked with a grin on her face.

“Sorry to disappoint you, but no! I just want to read a few lines since it's new.” She replied and laughed.

“Fine, but make sure you don’t crush on Tony, he is mine.” Rosie stated.

Arianna laughed and took the magazine from her. She flipped through a few pages but found nothing much of interest. It was a business magazine, presenting the top ten business icons and their progress in the past year. None of them was related to the entertainment industry so she handed it back to Rosie.

But just as Rosie was about to collect it from her, she caught a glimpse of something that looked familiar. She took back the magazine immediately and checked the cover page. She was shocked with what she saw. How on earth did she miss this?

“Oh my God, Rosie look!” she exclaimed with her hand covering her mouth and bug eyed.

“I know! They are just too cute right?” Rosie replied excitedly.

“Noo! I mean yes, they are cute but that’s not what I am talking about. Look at the cover page!” Arianna replied and handed the magazine back to her.

Rosie wondered what was so special about the cover page that made her friend react that way. She took a look at it and all she could see was a handsome young man with the caption. “Stark Oliver Gomez, businessman of the year”.

“What about it? I can only see Las Vegas’ most eligible bachelor and CEO of the year, but he is not cuter than my Tony.” She said with furrowed eyebrows.

“I don’t care about your Tony! I am just trying to let you know that the man you see there is the same man from valentine's night, the one night stand guy!” Arianna screamed.

“What? You mean YOUR BABY'S DADDY IS MR CEO?” Rosie asked loudly. She stared at the picture several more times before looking back at Aria

“Yes sis, it’s the very same man, I recognize him!!” Arianna screamed.
