Chapter 6 5.

Third person's POV:

Nobody except a pair of eyes noticed everything. A trace of malice shown in them.

Back in the Psychic reader's shop the old lady had been watching them leave the place.

"They are so close but still haven't noticed each other's hearts " the lady smiled.

.........

Su Won remembered the lady's words and tried to calm down. Don't get so flustered, she told herself.

Gradually the cold wind put her into a deep slumber.

Su Won's POV:

I tried so hard to open up the rope around my arms. It finally came off my wrist after a great struggle. I saw Eunbi on the other corner.

I tried to wake her up but she was unconscious. After loosening the ropes around her wrists and feet I picked her up.

I didn't know where we were, but sure enough we were about to die.

I found a door. Running out of the room with Eunbi on my back I found we were somewhere in the midst of a forest.

I suddenly heard a growl behind us. Before I turned a gunshot was heard.

Eunbi was shot!

I woke up slamming my head against something. I was in a car. I turned around to see Yeonjun's worried face.

It was just a nightmare. I felt relieved.

"you OK? " I heard Yeonjun's voice.

I nodded my head.

Turning around to the backseat I found, Eunbi was gone. The boys were fast asleep.

"Where is she? " I asked worried.

"At her home...if she's not planning to go somewhere else " Yeonjun replied.

I called Eunbi and was greeted by her sleepy voice.

"Are you alright.....are you at your home..... why the fuck did you leave me " I bombarded her with questions.

"You were sleeping ...I'm fine... good night ...I'm so tired" I heard her sleepy voice on the other end.

" Good night " I ended the call relieved.

" I wanted to stay at Eunbi's tonight "I grumbled.

"Are we ghosts... that you keep running to her house whenever we plan night outs here" Yeonjun questioned.

" Just....... we are home " I said as he entered the apartment compound.

I hopped out and sped up to my room. Damn it was 11:30pm.

Fifteen minutes later I heard a knock at my door just when I was about to drift off to sleep .

"Are you awake"?

Opening the door I found Yeonjun standing there with a glass of milk .

" Why this " I asked feeling sleepy.

"For a good sleep ".

I took the glass and closed the door.

Third person's POV:

The next morning Su Won woke up at 9. She panicked as she had missed her class at 7am.

She called for her brother but there was no response. On searching the house she realized that the boys had already left. The spare room which was used for guests was empty indicating the boys went back to their home.

"Why did nobody wake me up " she grumbled.

She might have switched her alarm off and gone back to sleep.

The freshly prepared breakfast filled the apartment with a delicious scent. On the counter ,three bowls were kept. Noodles, seaweed soup and some eggs.

Who made this?

There was a note on the counter.

Meet me at the canteen if you want to thank me.

After having a quick shower she had the breakfast and left for her college for the class at 11am.

Eunbi was sitting in the library wondering about last night. Was that lady true? She wondered.

She called Su Won in the morning but nobody answered. Maybe she won't come today she thought. Yesterday she chose to go to the carnival to cheer up but the result was quite opposite.

Su Won was her best friend or more like a sister who had always been there. Her parents were passionate architects . When she was in middle school, she realized her parents were giving up the opportunities in their career due to her, she felt guilty. She did not want to be a drawback for them and told them that she would manage her studies all herself and they should rather pursue their dreams.

At first she was glad for them. But gradually she started feeling lonely all by herself at home. This finally lead to her feeling neglected and depressed. Su Won was the person who had been with her during those times.

Recently her depression had gotten much worse but she did not tell anyone, not even Su Won.

She was staring at a magazine when her phone buzzed.

It was Su Won.

"Where are you? " .

" Someone is too early isn't it "?

"I'm sorry..... I overslept ".

"Come to the library ".

"Ok".

A few minutes later she appeared smiling sheepishly.

"You don't look so good today " Su Won said sitting down beside her.

"And you look too good today " Eunbi remarked closing the magazine. "Class is about to begin.... let's go " she stood up.

"You could have told me to wait at the class... ten minutes are left... let me rest a bit " Su Won wispered as a student infront of them stared at them for being loud.

"That's your punishment for coming late".

Su Won walked out following Eunbi.

"Em.... yesterday, what did that lady tell you... you've been weird since then " Su Won blurted .

Eunbi stopped and turned towards her friend. She stared at her orbs trying to search something.

"Do you love me "?

"Yes... you are a sister to me " Su Won answered almost instantly.

" Then let's be like sisters forever and never leave each other ok" Eunbi cupped her friend's face.

Some students who were passing by looked at them suspeciously. Soobin was true... they actually look like couples right now .lol.

"Ok... but you did not answer my question " Su Won slapped her hands off.

" Haha.... I was just trying to feel mysterious.... you actually got pranked" Eunbi said as she wrapped her arms around Su Won's and walked towards their class.

" But.... what about you... you looked really suspecious yesterday... " Eunbi asked raising her brows.

"I was Just trying to be mysterious.... Hahaha" she replied in the same tone as Eunbi.

"So we are not telling each other " Eunbi sighed.

"Someday maybe " Su Won trailed.

"OK" she shrugged.

Your friend... you have the tendency to loose your only trusted friend.

She might be both good and bad to you. Depends on you how you see the situations around yourself.

The psychic's voice echoed in Eunbi's head.
