Chapter 3 Third Chapter

A while later, Stanley entered with Samuel. When he entered, Samuel complained. "What's going on? I just walked out after eight hours of operation and you asked me to rush here."

Without replying him Nathan spoke coldly. "Check her out."

Entering the bathroom, Samuel was shocked. Smiling he asked "Who is this? Since when did the indifferent and aloof CEO have a soft spot for ladies?"

Arching an eyebrow, Nathan said indifferently, "Are you going to check on her or do you want me to make you?"

Raising his hand to surrender Samuel said "Easy, easy. It was just a question. Let me check her out."

Getting serious Samuel asked . "What happened? Seems like she was drugged and the dose is really high. As I just finished a surgery and rushed here without knowing what really you needed, I didn't bring any antidote for aphrodisia. Get me some ice first."

Nodding his head, "Okay." Stanley then walked out.

Bringing the bucket of ice, Stanley place it down.

Samuel looked at Nathan before saying. "She will need to take her clothes off and the ice should be added to the water to cool her down."

Moving forward indifferently, Nathan asked Samuel and Stanley to walk out then he entered the bathroom. Taking off her clothes, he gulped.

Taking the bucket, he poured the ice into the bathtub.

Feeling cold, Hilda tried to wiggle her way out of the tub but Nathan held her down.

Looking at her face which had turned red from cold, he said in a soft yet soothing tone. "Don't move."

As his voice was fruity melodious, she stared at him incredulously and held his shirt. Making him drenched.

After a few minutes, still clenching on him, Michael brought her out. After making sure she was all dried up, he wore one of his pajamas on her and place her on the bed.

Making sure she was all covered up, he called Samuel in.

After entering, Samuel gave her a check up.

"How is she?" Nathan asked

With a serious expression Samuel replied "The dose of the drug she was given was really high. As of now, the drug hasn't fully worn off. I will give her an injection."

After injecting her, Hilda's breath became stable and slowly she fell asleep."

Walking out of the room, Samuel teased. "So who is so capable enough to drug Mr. Nathan Clemon's woman?" Without waiting for Nathan to answer he added. "I guess there is still someone who isn't afraid to incur your wrath."

Turning around to glance at him, Nathan smiled.

Looking at the smile, Samuel shuddered.

"Nathan really lives up to his name. He truly is a devil. That smile can only mean one thing. That person is doomed." He thought to himself.

Ignoring him, Nathan strode away.

Behind him Samuel roared. "Hey, wait for me. Is that how to treat a friend? Asking me here after I walked out after a surgery and ignoring me as soon as you got what you wanted. Hmm.. Not even a drink?"

Looking at him who was still walking away without stopping, he mumbled. "Never seen a person who burns bridges immediately after crossing just you."

Seeing him who was walking further away, Samuel hurriedly caught up to him.

The next day.

Waking up, Hilda felt weak all over. With her hand on her head, she looked around. Noticing that the place was new to her, she felt a chill run down her spine.

Getting out of the bed, color drained from her face as she took the blanket off.

She was in a pajamas but the most shocking part was, it belonged to a man. Feeling sore all over her body, she recalled what happened the night before.

Looking around, there was no one. Holding her head in her hand she looked dumbfounded. "Hilda, what did you do?" As the alcohol was pretty excessive, she could not recall everything that happened.

All she knew was how she asked the man to save her. Thinking she might have done something wrong because she was feeling sore all over, she started cursing out loud. "You jerk. How dare you take advantage of me."

Taking the pillow, she started hitting the bed as if it was the man. "You jerk! You perv.."

Just then the door was opened and a voice was heard. "You finally decided to get up now right?"

Looking at the man who just entered, she squinted her eyes. He was tall and glowing. His appearance was that of a noble, his face was radiant with elegance and beauty which would make any woman jealous with his long and slender legs.

With a pale face she asked. " Who are you?"

Listening to her voice which sounded hoarse, he frowned. Walking closer, he took the water on the bedside table and poured her some.

Looking at his slender hand, she took the water.

Taking the water, she gulped all down without minding her manners.

After, she placed the glass down, she looked at him and seemed to have recalled something. "You were the man who saved me yesterday right?'

Without answering her he asked. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm okay. Thanks for yesterday."

"You don't have to."

Looking at the pajamas, Hilda became embarrassed as she made eye contact with Nathan.

Looking at her who was starring at him embarrassingly, he knew what she meant with the eye contact. "Don't worry. Nothing happened between us last night."

She meekly asked for her dress after looking around. "erm...my dress?... erm.."

Shaking his head, Nathan looked at her shy and blushing face before Taking out his phone to make a call. On the phone, he told the other person on the end of the line to bring some dresses for "Miss Hilda Adams."

Starring at him who just mentioned her full name, she was shocked. "Mr. How did you know my name? Do you know me?"

"Mr. Nathan Clemon". He answered calmly.

"Huh?"

"That is my name. And how I got to know your name?" Smiling he continued "You are famous now."

Looking Confused "What do you mean by me being famous?"

"Miss Adams seems like you haven't read the news this morning. Your face is plastered everywhere as you tried to cuase a riot at your sister's engagement by claiming your brother - in - law as your boyfriend yesterday." He said with a sly smile on his face.

Looking shocked Hilda asked calmly. "What do you mean by that?"

Smiling Nathan chipped. "Oh, ain't that the reason why you drowned all your sorrows with wine last night since it didn't pull through for you?"
