Chapter 2 Get up your lazy ass

(Next Morning)

"Hey get your lazy ass up. " Hailey slapped Tiana back hard

"What do you want?. "Tiana yawned

"It's 9am already yet you're still sleeping. "

"So what does that have to do with me, is that why you slapped my back so hard. "Tiana grumbled closing back her eyes

"Yes since you will not wake up no matter how I call your name. "

"What a bad friend you're for slapping me so hard on my back. " Tiana wailed rolling on the bed

"Thought you said you have class 10am this morning. "her statement made Tiana jumped up from bed instantly

"Oh my God, why don't you wake me up earlier. " Tiana rubbed her eyes going into the bathroom

"I've been waking you up since 8am, yet you didn't get your lazy ass up. "Hailey smirked

"You're a bad friend for not slapping me so hard on the back earlier. "Tiana squeezes her face brushing her teeth in the bathroom

"Whatever, I've clean the whole house so cook something before leaving. "Hailey said leaving Tiana room

After a while, Tiana was done dressing up, afterwards goes into the kitchen to fix something, she decides to just cook noodles to make it very fast

10 minutes later, she's already sitting on the dinning table with Hailey

"Noodles and egg "Hailey drooled dishing out her food

"Did you put sleeping pills in that pizza of yours, I've been feeling sleeping since I ate it"Tiana yawned out loud covering her mouth

"If I did, you will wake up to see you have become a grandma, now table manners let's eat" Hailey shrugged as they started eating

After the meal, Tiana packed up the plates to wash, after washing, she then joined Hailey at the sitting room

"Won't you get going already."Hailey said her eyes on her phone

"9:30, I will get going by 9:40."she replied and just then her phone started to ring, it was her mum, she picked it up

"That was your mum right. "Hailey said after Tiana dropped the call

"Yeah, she's just checking up on me "

"Without asking of me"

"When I said " she's fine. ", you should know am talking about you bighead, anyway I will get going now. "she said standing up on her feets

"Goodbye, study well " Hailey waved to Tiana who is already on her way out

After paying the cab man, she entered to see different students roaming about, she went for the class she's having immediately

As usual some students were in already, some with airphone on, some gisting, some with books on their table and so on

"Hey Tiana "someone called her to her

"Hi Micheal"she smiled on seeing who it is

Micheal is actually her departmental friend

"I reserved the seat for you" he said as Tiana took the seat

"Thank you " she flashed him a small smile

They began talking about some random stuffs, after a while, the lecturer walked in and everywhere turned silent immediately, it's time for class

"Tiana, let me drop you to your house"Micheal said after they finished the two classes they have

"Don't worry, I will just take a cab"she smiled

"But I really want to take you"he said trying to persist her

"No worry, some other time"she hesitated

"Okay then, bye" he entered his car and drove off, just then the sun shines brightly on Tiana

'Oh God, I should have just let him take me, you're so stupid Tiana' she slapped her head lightly

She stopped a cab and entered hurriedly..

"I don't have change"the cab man said after dropping her

"Okay, you can keep it " she entered to see some men taking in different house furniture's like chairs, bed, and so on, setting the flat Mr Williams use to stay in

She stares at them confusingly, walking up to them

"Excuse me please, what's happening here "she approached one of the men

"We are setting this place for the person who will be moving in soon, any problem"the man replied

"No, continue your work "she gave a smile

"Okay "the man get back to his work

A new person moving in, that fast...

She took out the key, unlocked the door, diving straight to her room

"Hey babe"Kelly entered the car to see the frowning Hailey

"Who is Rose? " she stares keenly at him

"We were cool before I left the car just now, why are you like this " the confusion obvious in his look and tone

"Screw that, I said who's Rose? "

She repeated her question

"You went through my phone " he frowned picking up his phone

"I didn't, just peeped in when I saw a text message "

"Did you see anything like love words when you saw the message"he asked

She shook her head "No"

"Then why being like this "

"I didn't but I just want to know who the Rose is or don't I deserves to know "she glares hard at him

"If I've been doing any shit, you should know I wouldn't leave my phone while I was not there right " his tone calm and straightforward

"Well I know, I just want to know who Rose is, answer that, why are you avoiding that question " she persuaded

"You know we have a birthday to attend, we will talk about later" he said and started the car immediately, Hailey shocked him by getting out of the car before he could move, he also got down staring confusingly at her

"What's that about "

"I'm sorry but I won't be going anywhere until you tell me who Rose is" she crossed her arms

"Why are you suddenly being like this "he sounds irritated

"You won't tell me right, I will just go back home, go to your birthday party alone" she stopped a cab immediately and entered without waiting for his reply

Tiana was drinking her custard when Hailey walked inside

"I thought you said you will be going out with Kelly, how come you're back so soon" she joined her in the living room

"Well as can you can see, I'm back which means I'm not going anymore " Hailey said looking sad

"But why and what's that look on your face"

"I and Kelly had a little fight, he got a text message from one Rose and he won't tell me who she is so I left angrily "she explained

"You mean Love message "asked Tiana

"No but I still demands to know who she is"answered Hailey

"You're being too insecure here, it's not worth you being angry, you're the one wrong here, I don't see any reason for you to be angry "she advised

"I think so too, maybe I'm really being too insecure, now I'm regretting it, don't even know what came over me"Hailey sighed

"You should apologized to him"Tiana said going to the dinning to finish her custard

"I will but not now, it's funny the one who's not in a relationship is a relationship counsellor "Hailey laughed

"Anyway, let's forget about that "Hailey added joining her in the dining

"You cooked anything "she inquired stretching out her hand

"No, I'm too tired to cook any meal so I just made some custard" she chukled and Hailey retreats back to the living room

She is not a fan of custard

"New family will be moving to the other flat soon, some men came to moved all the house furniture's, they left not quite long " Tiana gisted

"That fast, they found a new tenant already "

"Yeah, I was also surprised " Tiana nodded

"Well it's not bad, they should move in, we will have some new neighbors then, I hope they get some cute little children "Hailey smiled

Hailey is a lover of kids

"What if they turn out to be like Mr Williams and his wife " Tiana laughed

"I don't think that's possible, the landlord will never accept such People again"

"How will he know they are that kind of people, does it show in the face".

"We will see about that, talk about another thing "Hailey rolled her eyes

"Do you have class tomorrow, I'm all free"Tiana raised her arms up in air

"I'm not, I have 3-4 classes "a frown on Hailey's face while Tiana just smiled.
