Chapter 5 Fling thingy

Ahaana's Pov-

As everyone boarded the plane we took off and after the take off I gave the announcement which we pilots are supposed to give.

Our today's flight is for about 7 hours, after sometime there was some issue with some passenger

who's travelling in business class so Captain Varun went over there to solve it and I was handling the flight controls completely till he returned.

I asked him is everything fine with issue he gave me smile and thumbs-up.

After flying for about 3-4 hours we usually take a break of 10-15 mins for coffee so that we don't feel sleepy and we are refreshed.

We put the plane in the auto pilot mode and we went to our pilot's lounge which is usually

only present in international flights it's exclusively for pilot's there's a lounge, beds and washroom for the pilots.

We went in and sat in the lounge which is before entering the beds section and we were waiting

for Sam( Samyukta- our head air hostess for today)to bring our coffee till then Captain Varun started

his usual discussion about my love life and how I should get one. He told me that I should start

dating someone.

I told him that after my previous relationship which I had like in my school days,I don't wanna

get into any because i have trust issues and also told him after looking at situation of couples out there like their fights and tantrums I've lost interest in relationships.

After listening to my answer he suggested me why not try flings.

I made a pouty face and asked him "what is this now?"

He just chuckled and explained to me that nowadays people just help each other

in fulfilling their desires and it's kinda no-strings attached just a day or two kind of thing. I was about to say something but he stopped and he continued, "yeah i know I know you're a classical case I mean to say old school, you don't wanna lose your virginity to just anyone out there but your future life partner but

Ana (Varun calls me by this name sometimes) this is not the old generation everyone is moving on you should too not everyone out there will cheat you and see if you get into such flings you won't even be afraid of getting cheated on or losing someone you love and look you're in your twenties you should enjoy it to the fullest and don't worry no one out there would judge you in this generation especially your life partner and if by any chance he judges you then Ana I'm telling you he's not the one to get into life long commitment. " Just then our coffee was served to us and I was thinking about what Varun told me and it clicked to me that maybe he has some point over there.

I told him "I'll think about this and will give you a answer about this later after we land and I even asked him even if i get into such fling or whatever it is, where will I get a partner."

He just told me "that's something you should think about later on now just think about what I've told you first. "

We completed our coffee and again went to our cabin and after two and half hour we landed in Mauritius.

And after landing , Varun told me he'll meet that superstar and will meet me at the

airport so I went out first and collected my bag and then me and Captain Varun were on our way to our hotel. All the way i was just thinking about the fling thingy and after sometime i thought to myself that I should give it a shot because why not it's 21st century goddamnit!

I told about my answer to Varun and he chuckled and told me that he's very happy with my

decision and about my question about the partner he told me I should look for someone

over here in Mauritius because it won't cause any trouble once I'm back to Mumbai and over here

no one knows us and all that stuff.

We reached our hotel, we were at the reception doing our check in procedure just then someone from behind tapped me on my right shoulder i turned back and i was shocked it was none other than

Ahaan Kapoor, he was smiling at me and I gave him a fake smile and asked "Yes?"
