Later in the night Agnes was on his bed thinking about what the blacksmith said earlier 'Hmm I'm beginning to think you are not insane after all. Maybe you are right. There's a life up there.' 'I'll do whatever it takes to get up there. Something magnificent is up there. Im sure of it.' Agnes vowed in his heart. The next morning Anapheus called Agnes for a walk into the forest. "I know you are surprised why I asked you for a walk this early morning." Anapheus breaks the silence after walking for a long time. "Yes." Agnes simply answered.
Anapheus sighed "I want to discuss things with you concerning your mother." "Yes?" "She worry about you. She worry too much. I wouldn't want her to get sick." Anspheus said to him. Agnes sighed, "I don't know what to do either. I want her to stop worrying but there's this emptiness inside of me I need to find answers to. I know it's kind of weird telling you this but I feel like something's calling to me." Agnes said. Anapheus sighed. "I'm just concerned for her. Whatever you think you want to do I need you to do it fast so she can stop worrying." "Ok Dad. But what I'm about to do is..um.." Agnes nervously scratches the back of his head "kind of..um dangerous." Anapheus smiled. "Nothing you had done was never dangerous. You faced a Wolf all by yourself. I mean you don't get scared even when doing things that is difficult for ten men." Agnes rubbed the back of his neck and groaned, "Dad you don't have to be praising me." Anapheus groaned in return, "Nonsense, I'm only saying things that are true." He pulled Agnes by the arm and said "Now let's have a duel. I really want to see how improved you are." Anapheus threw a sword to Agnes, but before he catches it he attacked him. The clanking of sword was heard when they started fighting. After fighting for a while, Agnes had Anapheus on the ground with his sword pointed to his throat. Anaphase smiled and surrendered. Agnes helped him up and earned a pat on the back. They walked back to the village with Anapheus telling Agnes more about the sword skills and techniques in fighting with hands. When they got to the village they saw Achilles and Clement having a sword duel. From the view Achilles is having the upper hand, clement is having a hard time fighting. He has always hated fighting. Achilles gave him a round off kick making Clement fall on the ground, Agnes laughed out loud. "Easy on him Achilles. He doesn't have to fight. He can be a maid or do whatever maids do." Agnes said, Clement scowled. This made all the villagers watching them having the duel laugh. "Not funny." Clement mumbled. He stood up and chased after Agnes. Anapheus shook his head smiling, he walked into the house and saw his wife by the window stand. He went behind her and slid his arms across her waist. "What are you thinking about love?" He asked, dipping his nose in her hair. She sighed then turned around to face him. She put her arm about his neck and snuggled closer, "I just want us to be together. Me, you and the kids. I don't want them gone." Anapahues chuckled lowly earning a glare from Mary. "Sorry." He said. He then sighed, "I know how hard it is but we've got no choice but to let go. They can't stay here forever. What if they get married someday, huh.?" "Then they can stay here. We have a lot of rooms. We can be a big family." Mary beamed up smiling but the smile faded when she noticed Anapheus' deadpan look. "Not possible. I could have stayed with my parent when we got married..but we need our own space just like they will do when they find their wives." Mary shook her head and snuggled closer to Anapheus' chest. Anapehus pulled away and kissed her head, her nose then proceed to kiss her lips when they were interrupted by clearing of throats. They turned their heads towards where the noise came from and saw their children with looks of amusement dancing in their eyes. "Oh Mom and Dad. We have rooms. We wouldn't want to see all of the couple things happening here." Clement exclaimed. Agnes' laughter erupted followed by Achilles' and then Clement laughed too. Anapheus couldn't help but laugh too. "Shut up all of you." Mary glared at them, "And you." she turned towards Anapheus who gulped. Mary is so nice but seeing the bad side of hers is not a very beautiful sight to see. "You are sleeping on the floor for days." She walked out. Agnes and the other children suppressed their laughs. "You are whooped Dad." Anapheus glared at them. "Mom is not so nice since everything is becoming so romantic and we just came in." Clement said. "I heard that Clement. You are not having food in this house for a month." Mary's voice was heard. "Oh boy. First you are a maiden and now you are not getting food for a month. You are more whooped than Dad." Achilles said and laughed. Clement slapped his arm and walked out mumbling incoherent words. Both Agnes and Achilles suppressed their laughs afraid Mary might hear them. ******* Later in the night after everyone has eaten. Agnes laid on his bed awaiting sleep to take over but since it didn't come. He stood up and went to one of the drawers on his room. He took out the golden anklet and and sat on his bed staring at it. He stood up and went out of his room. He walked silently so he won't get caught. He successfully came out of the house. He went towards the Waterfall that is not too far from the house. "I must get to the bottom of this." He looked at the golden Anklet with so much longing in his eyes. "You must be so beautiful. I want to see the damsel that wore this golden Anklet." Agnes put back the golden Anklet in his pocket. He went to the base of the huge mountain and started climbing it. The base of the mountain is so rough making it easy to climb. Agnes kept climbing till their house is nothing but like a speck of ant. He extended his hand one more time but caught nothing. This made his leg to lose balance. His other hand's grip on the mountain loosened. Agnes fell. "Oh shit." He cursed. But then someone saw all that happened. Agnes looked up and saw that the day is about to break. He wouldn't want to get caught. He quickly swam outside and went back to his room.
