Chapter 5 Newbie

The new school did not offer much interest to Friezzie especially when it came to true friends. However, her only long friend in school was her neighborhood boy who travelled to school together. The traveling was of course not by car but a school bus that used to pick and drop every school kid. One reason why many girls hated her was because she was the friend of this particular boy who was a crush to many. On top of that this boy preferred her over any girl since she would not pester around him.

He knew the fact she won't be interested in any boy or relationship and so it's safer to be with her than be around girls who would hover over him.

　　He was the most popular and handsome boy in school according to the girls in her school. She did not care what he looked like as long as he was ready to practice badminton with her after leaving school. This guy is Ryan. One of the most famous athletes in school and Friezzie knew that befriending him would serve her purpose to become a sportsperson in the future.

　　Ryan indeed had a girlfriend who hated the friendship between them though they had nothing in common except for the craze of sports.

　　Friezzie joined this school mainly with the intention of taking up extra athletics coaching offered by the school after class. She dreamt of being a track and field runner in 100m and 200m category. However, little did the boys in school knew they will be kicked and punched by her whoever tried to flirt with her. Ryan was on her side at times protecting her always.

　　The school bus stopped few centimetres away from where she stood, a newbie, she could feel eyes being gazed upon her from every corner of the bus. She quickly hurried to grab a seat. "Phew" she signed letting out a breath of relief. However, she could still feel someone from behind, two probable eyes, watching her as she tries to look outside the window. She wanted to turn back, stand up from her seat and punch right on the face of the person staring at her just to make her uncomfortable. However, she tried to ignore it since it was her first day in school and definitely, she didn't wanted to stir up trouble this quickly.

　　The bus soon arrived in the school premises and she stood up from her seat. She was about to leave when she dashed against a tall boy who was looking right into her eyes. He gave a wicked smile and a flush of redness covered up in Friezzie's face. He gestured her to proceed first still looking at her She looked down, apologized and moved out of the bus.

　　"So awkward, let some days go, I will teach him a lesson. No one dares to look at me without my permission." She said to herself. She walked fast into the security room after checking her ID and seeing the direction of her class. A voice came from behind. It was Ryan with whom she just had an uncomfortable moment a while ago. He grinned his teeth and spoke "I can help you find your class. I have been in this school since kindergarten. I can even show you around if you like." "I am sorry. I am not sure if I will like anything here. Can you please help me find my class. I don't want to be late."

　　"Sure. Come with me." He said confidently extending his hand for a handshake. "I am Ryan and you are?" She replied coldly, "what's in a name. Just take me to my class." She clearly had no intentions of befriending him at all and she proved it. Ryan wondered 'No girl has been so rude to a cute guy like me. Why is this girl so mean? She seems interesting. I think she has a boyfriend she is so cute and pretty. Maybe that's why she is not interested to talk to any other guy. I might stir up a breakup. I don't like competition.' Lost in his thoughts, Friezzie wondered if he is taking her to the right direction. It seemed ages to reach the class even though she knew the school is big covered in acres of land. She cleared her throat and finally spoke "Are you taking me to the correct direction or just wasting my time?"

　　"Haha" he laughed. "I am not sure why are you rude to someone who is helping you and someone so cute like me. But, you look cute with that annoyed face." 'Is he trying to flirt. Damn I was done with boys pestering me in my previous school. Not again in this school.' she looked down with a sad face.

　　After 10 minutes of walk, Ryan felt sad that they reached the class finally. Not sure why but it was his first time that he felt so good walking with someone who stays angry all the time. She gave a sign of relief and thanked him. "Won't you tell me your name? I helped you from not getting lost." Ryan asked with a wicked smile again. She frowned and said "I don't have a name. I am nameless."

　　She rushed towards her class and quickly entered. She sat in the last seat to avoid another Ryan again in class always looking at her for no reason. Ryan on the other hand watched her back and whispered to himself 'I need to know this girl."
