Chapter 5 Episode five

Mariposa

I walked into the girls bathroom then looked at the mirror. I switched on the tap then washed my face. I was breathing hard and I felt dizzy. My eyes suddenly glowed white. I gasped as the glow disappeared. I moved back then ran out of the bathroom. I bumped into someone who pushed me away. I fell on the ground and looked at the person. It was Amy.

"How dare you touch me?!" She exclaimed with a disgusted face.

"Ewww" She added cleaning her cloth.

"You are a fool!" She shouted.

I frowned and stood up.

"Control that smelling mouth of yours" I growled.

She bursted into laughter.

"The freak is talking too much" she laughed more. The whole school gathered around us.

"Only a freak knows a freak" I scoffed and turned away to leave.

She charged towards me yelling. I moved out of the way, she screamed and fell on the ground.

"Dummy" I scoffed then felt a huge pain on my head. I turned seeing Monica with a baseball bat. Everyone shouted and I touched my head then looked at my hands seeing blood. She also locked shocked and Amy was laughing.

"Was the moment that intense that you had to hit my head?" I asked as my eyes watered and everything turned black.

Diego

The teacher locked the door. We were all jotting what she was teaching about.

Suddenly, there were screams.

"What's happening?" A student asked curiously. We all murmured looking at the door.

"No stay in" The teacher said angrily.

"It may be serious ma'am" Another student said.

I felt worried sick and scared.

"Protect her" I heard a whisper.

"Protect" The whisper echoed again. I stood up.

"Sit down young man!" The teacher shouted angrily.

I ignored, ran to the door then unlocked it then ran out. I grabbed a girl. She looked shocked.

"What happened?!" I shouted, she gasped.

"Mon..ica........I me..an the..re wa..was a.. fight.... Mariposa" She stammered.

"Mariloser!" I exclaimed and pushed the girl away then ran to the scene.

Students gathered murmuring and whispering to themselves. I pushed them out of my way and growled seeing Mariposa in the pool of her own blood. I knelt down next to her. She was unconscious.

"You fools! Morons! You are just watching! You can't help?!" I asked furiously then carried Mariposa in a bridal style. I stood up and walk through the hallway heading for the exit. What kind of school was this? The teachers didn't even gather. I walked out of the school and out of the compound. I was so furious. I used my foot to kick the gate close.

"Taxi!" I shouted as some cars and taxis pass by. Mariposa's blood rolled out of her head and landed on the bare ground. Immediately, flowers bursted out. My eyes widened. A taxi suddenly stopped at our front.

"Is she alright?" The taxi driver asked.

"Does she look alright?" I asked and looked at the flowers then swallowed hard.

I opened the door, placed mariposa in gently then also entered. The driver drove immediately I closed the door.

What was that?

Her blood made flowers.

I was scared and worried at the same time.

We arrived at the hospital. I carried Mariposa out then paid the taxi driver and ran to the the hospital. Nurses and doctors surrounded us and took Mariposa away on a stretcher bed. I wanted to go with them but a nurse pulled me back.

"No" She said and walked away.

I groaned and digged my bloody hands into my hair. What kind if incident led to this?

Why on Earth did her blood create flowers?

Why was I worried about her?

Why did I keep hearing whispers?

I had so many questions but no one could answer any of them. Dad was away. I started to believe his words in the letter. I made sense since all this had started happening.

Hours passed, I was still worried. I rubbed my hands together. I was sitting down next to the ward Mariposa was in. A doctor came out of the room and I stood up.

"How is she doctor?" I asked worriedly.

"Your girlfriend is in a strange coma" He unexpectedly informed.

"Strange coma? what do you mean?....wait girlfriend?!" I exclaimed.

"Yes, she was hit on the head with something hard but it wasn't strong enough to place her in a coma, something is wrong and I'm afraid that we can't do anything" He explained and walked away.

"Wait! She is not my girlfriend!" I shouted after him but he was gone. I sighed deeply.

"Strange coma?" I asked and walked into the room she was in. Her head was wrapped with a bandage. I walked towards the bed and sat next to her.

"You are so weird, how come your blood made for? And I thought I was abnormal when my eyeballs glowed" I said and chuckled softly.

I removed the letter from my pocket.

"You are finally eighteen years old which will uncover do many secrets. You are a crystal Fairy. It may sound like a movie but it's the truth" I read and looked at Mariposa.

"Me.....a fairy?" I asked still not believing but I kind of did.

I kept the letter in my pocket.

"Protect her" A whisper echoed again.

Dad was right. He couldn't lie. But was mariposa also a fairy?

"Mum!" Mariposa unexpectedly shouted but she was still in a coma.

She stammered, whimpered while moving her head.

"Mariposa" I called trying to wake her up.

"Mariloser" I called shaking her.

"MARIPOSA!" I yelled and held her shoulders. She suddenly glowed white and I glowed blue. She gasped and opened her glowing eyes breathing hard. She looked shocked. I released her and the glow stopped.

"What the hell!" I exclaimed and fell on the ground.

She groaned and placed herself in a sitting position.

"What..just .ha..ppened?" She asked and stood up.

"Sit down" I said and stood up.

"What just happened?!" She yelled, gasped and sat down.

"I don't know too" I answered calmly.

"There were glows. I was glowing and so we're you" She said breathing hard.

I groaned and sat next to her.

"How old are you?" I asked curiously.

"Eighteen today" She answered.

I swallowed hard and nodded slowly.

"I was glowing" She gasped again and placed her hand on her chest.

"Happy birthday mariloser" I said with a small smile.

"You are the first person to wish me that" She said and looked away.

"Something is wrong here. Do you want to figure things out?" She asked, I nodded.

"Thank you" She unexpectedly said. We stared at each other for some seconds then I looked away.

"Read this" I said to her then removed the letter from my pocket and handed it to her.

She collected the letter then stared at it for some minutes looking shocked.

"You are fairy?!" She exclaimed and looked at me.

"We both are" I smiled and nodded. I collected the letter from her then she bursted into laughter.

"It may sound impossible but it's the truth and it makes sense. Okay, how can you explain all this?" I asked.

"It may be a dream like the ones I have been having" She answered still not believing.

I pinched her arm, she screamed.

"It's not a dream fool" I scoffed and rolled my eyes.

"Fairies are in fairy tales. Stories.... You are dumb" she said rubbing her arm.

"But we are faires moron" I scoffed.

"Then let's go check your dad's shelf or....go talk to your dad" She suggested and stood up.

"He is gone, I can't reach him" I said and also stood up.

"Then let's check the shelf" I smiled faintly, I nodded.

We walked out of the room and went to the reception. I paid the receptionist and signed the details needed. I also talked to the doctor who looked at I and mariposa with suspicious eyes. Mariposa noticed it and pulled me out of the hospital.

We arrived at my house. Mariposa groaned and touched her bandaged head.

"Does it hurt?" I asked and removed my jacket.

"No?" She asked, my eyes widened.

She stared at me looking suprised.

"The glow" she whispered and slowly unwrapped the bandaged off her head.

My eyes widened as I walked towards her and grabbed her head.

"Not even a scratch" I whispered. She slapped my hand away. I frowned and walked some steps away from her.

"Do you believe now?" I asked with a smile. She nodded slowly.

We looked at the shelf then looked at each other. We walked towards it then pushed together.

Immediately it moved, a hole opened under our feet and we fell in screaming. Well, Mariposa screamed the most. It was like a tunnel. I finally landed on the ground and mariposa landed on me. I choked and she gasped. She looked at me with shock then stood up quickly. I smiled and also stood up. We looked around. We were in a room, a study room or should I say a small library.

"Books" Mariposa called and walked towards a shelf.

"Strange books" She added.

I walked towards another shelf and slided my fingers on the books.

"Weird" Mariposa said and removed a book.

"Astoria" She whispered.

"Astoria" I asked and walked towards her then collected the book.

"All this books are based on worlds" I whispered.

"Worlds as in magical worlds?!" Mariposa exclaimed.

"Yes" I answered.

"This is freaky, I like it" U smiled and looked a mariposa who still looked shocked.

"How am I a fairy? My parents died in a car accident, my aunt is a human" Mariposa listed slowly. She was emotional.

"She maybe keeping you from all this just like my dad did" I said,she looked at me.

"I want to go home and ask questions. We will meet in school tomorrow and come back here" She suddenly said.

"Okay" I whispered.

I looked at the room looking for a way out. I then sighted a board. I walked towards it.

"To exit, say RETURN" I read and unexpectedly zoomed up, appearing in front of the shelf in the sitting room. Mariposa also appeared at my side.

"Goodnight, today is so freaky" She said, I smiled.

"Goodnight" I said, she nodded.

She walked towards the door as she held the handle, she looked back at me then looked away, opened the door and left the house.

I sat on the couch with a heavy sigh.

"Dad where are you?" I asked and closed my watered eyes.

Damian

I appeared in the throne room. I was in my fairy form. Fereda gasped seeing me.

"Damian!" She exclaimed really shocked.

I smirked and a blue crystal spears appeared on my hand.

"You won't succeed in killing my son!" I yelled and threw the spear at her. It zoomed towards her head but stopped on reaching the point of her forehead.

Her eyes turned full black.

"I will kill your son and that so called prophecy won't be fulfilled" She said and the spear turned back at me , flew and passed through my stomach.

I vomited blood.

Fereda laughed then clapped three times.

"The prophecy will be fulfilled" I breathed out the words.

"DIE!!!!" She screamed.

It was as if time stopped. I fell on the ground and everything turned black.
