Chapter 2 Episode two

Fereda

I sat on my throne and inhaled deeply. Everything was prefect, it was another dark day in Astoria. It was nice.

"My queen" jerod called as he walked into the throne room then bowed.

"I'm having a bad feeling my queen" he added and rose up.

I caressed my hair slowly.

"Meaning?" I asked confused.

"So you think that I am not capable of anything?!" I exclaimed.

"You are a beauty my queen, a powerful beauty but just feel worried all of a sudden" he answered looking worried.

"Why the sudden feeling? Everything is prefect isn't it?" I asked then smiled.

"It has been Eighteen years since we took over Astoria and very soon valtor" I said assuring him.

"Yes but I don't understand the sudden feeling my queen" he said still worried.

"Is it about the fairies?" I asked and rolled my eyes.

"I whipped those royals and turned their subjects into my slaves. Nothing and no one can save them" I said proudly and raise my hands. Two crystal Spears appeared. One white, the other blue.

"If anything happens, they will glow. But there's no way that will happen" I said assured.

"Remember that we didn't kill Damian. He must be out there" jerod reminded.

I growled then made the spears disappeared.

"Nothing will go wrong and if anything goes wrong, I will destroy that obstacle" I said as my eyeballs enlarged and my eyes turned full black.

Mariposa

"You all know that this year is a project year. So, I will put you all in the pairs of two" Miss Anne announced.

Everyone murmured happily.

"No, don't be happy yet, I'm arranging you all in my own way" I said and laughed.

"You thought you will choose your partners yourself? Dream big" She added. She was grumpy today.

I sniffed and looked around then class was bright and filled today. I didn't recognize some students.

" I don't care whether you like it or not but if you don't do a good job, you fail and if you do a good job, you pass" She said bursting everyone's bubbles.

I didn't really care who she would pair ne with. All I wanted is to get good grades.

"Mariposa and Diego" She suddenly called.

Now I cared.

"What?!" I exclaimed and stood up.

"I don't care about your feelings" She said angrily.

"But he is so annoying" I complained.

"And she is picky and proud" Diego also complained.

I frowned and looked at him.

"Who are you calling proud?" I asked angrily.

"Oh shut up" He said and rolled his eyes.

"Sit down!" Miss Anne shouted.

Everything were laughing.

"Switch seats. Mariposa switch with Amy. Amy you are with Monica" miss Anne added.

We obeyed. I frowned. Today was the worst day ever.

School was finally over. I walked out of the school premises. Suddenly a power bike zoomed towards me. I gasped and jumped out if the way. It was so sudden. I was so furious.

"Who is that fool?!" I shouted.

The power bike stopped then turned back charging towards me. It suddenly stopped almost hitting me. I swallowed hard.

The rider was wearing a blue helmet and by the clothes, it was Diego. He removed his helmet and bursted into laughter. I felt like killing him.

"You want to kill me?" I asked and folded my arms.

"Today, is my first day and I already dislike you. So, I can kill you if I want" He said with a chuckle.

"We are on the street not a motorcycle garage" I frowned.

"You are behaving like a mum" He laughed.

"Whatever let plan for the project. Give me your number" I said and separated my arms.

"You are so serious ewwww" he said and pouted his lips then threw his phone at me. I caught it.

" At least you know that you are unserious " I said and placed my number in his phone. I dialed my number and threw his phone back to him.

"Bye mariloser" He laughed and drove away.

I scoffed and groaned.

I just met him today, he was so annoying and worst of all we were project partners.

Diego

I drove faster. Immediately she threw the phone back to me, I saw a message from Dad saying that he was home.

I finally arrived home. I drove slowly on the street. My home was a simple American home. I was neither rich nor poor. I parked my bike in the garage then ran out entering the main house.

"Dad!" I called throwing my backpack on the couch

"I'm coming" I heard dad answered as he walked out of the kitchen.

"Dad" I smiled and hugged him. He hugged me back.

We disengaged.

"Two weeks dad?" I asked with a slight frown.

He laughed nervously.

"I was so busy that's why I prolonged it" He answered, I nodded.

"Okay" I smiled.

"I'm so happy you are home" I added happily.

"I'm also happy" He laughed then removed a blue glass key necklace from his pocket.

"Happy birthday Diego" He smiled and handed it to me.

"Thanks Dad" I smiled and wore it.

"How was school?" He asked.

"How did you know that I went to school?" I asked and sat on the couch then crossed my legs.

"Just a guess" He said and looked at my backpack.

"And the backpack" He added with a chuckle.

"You are finally eighteen" He said and sat next to me. I released my legs. We both smiled happily but his reaction quickly disappeared.

"Why the sudden change of reaction?" I asked curiously.

"Diego" He sighed.

"Yes dad" I answered.

"There would be a time that your life will change. You will be in reality but you will be shocked and confused" He unexpectedly said.

"What's wrong" I asked really confused.

He forced a smile.

"Nothing" He breathed out.

"Explained your day" He added.

"It was so wow!!" I exclaimed and faced him.

"I met a rude girl. She said that I am annoying. I'm I annoying?" I explained then asked.

"She is the first person to tell you the truth that you are annoying" Dad unexpectedly said, I frowned.

"No one has ever told me that until today" I said angrily.

"It's the truth. Even I couldn't tell you the truth" Dad laughed.

"Anyways, I was surrounded with girls, I now have an enemy, there's also a girl who doesn't want to leave me alone and I'm doing a project with Mariposa" J explained. The sound of Mariposa name made him look really shocked.

"Mariposa!" He exclaimed and grabbed my shoulders.

I gripped with shock.

He was acting strange. Was Mariposa a witch? Her name made my dad freak out.

He realeased me and stood up.

"Goodnight" He suddenly said and walked away.

I glued to the couch still shocked.

That was weird but that was dad. He always lost in thought, alone and always went for business meetings. I caressed my necklace and smiled. Why did that name made him act really strange? I would confront Mariposa tomorrow. I laid on the couch and gasped.

"John!" I exclaimed and jumped off the couch then ran to the kitchen fish bowl seeing a floating fish.

"Rip John" I said sadly. I sniffed and closed my eyes.

"You killed another fish?!" Dad exclaimed.

"You told me that Drake died last night. Before then leo, Tom..... should I keep listing?" He asked and folded his arms.

I smiled nervously.

"I forgot to feed them" I said and laughed nervously.

"Gosh! You know you are irresponsible but you keep buying fishes" He said and laughed.

"Go sleep" He added.

"It's not that late dad" I frowned, he nodded and walked away.

Damian

I entered my room and sat on the bed

"Mariposa, Liana's daughter. She's alive there's hope" I smiled as my eyes watered.

I ran away with Diego immediately the dark fairies invaded Astoria eighteen years ago.

Diego was just born and Meghan was killed. I came to the human world yo hid with Diego with no hope because I thought everything was finished. But knowing that liana's daughter is alive gives me hope. Their destiny would take place now. I had been going out of the city to create a protective barrier for Diego so that fereda will never find him. He was a cheerful, fulfilled and stubborn boy. He knew nothing about his background because I didn't want to tell him. I was doing that to protect him. He was now eighteen years. Everything will break down now. I became scared that even he couldn't fulfill the prophecy. So I made up my mind to kill fereda myself.
