Chapter 3 Torture

"Alpha?" The guard who took Luna Clarissa into the delivery room questioned.

"You'll do as you are told." Alpha Benjamin replied using his Alpha voice.

"As you wish." The guard replied as he looked in the room where his already broken and bleeding Luna was laying, in tears after getting her child ripped from her arms.

The guard went into the room and the doctor stopped him, "You will give me time to get the placenta out and clean her up before you take her to the dungeon."

With a nod of his head, he stood by as the doctor pushed and proded the Luna's stomach to deliver the placenta that kept the alpha's children alive for 8 months.

"I'm so sorry my Luna. I wish there was something I could do." The doctor told her.

"It's okay Amy. My daughter is safe and she will remain so until she is of age." Luna Clarissa replied in a defeated tone.

"It's time Luna." The guard informed.

"Thank you Amy, for everything." Luna Clarissa remarked as she stood on wobbly legs and hugged the doctor that helped deliver her children, yes; Doctor Amy was in the room when Luna Clarissa delivered her first child.

"I'm sorry." Amy cried.

As Luna Clarissa walked to the door on shaky legs, she turned to look at another long time friend and gave her a small sad smile before walking out the door.

"This way Luna." A new guard spat as he pulled her down the hall.

"I know my way to the dungeon." She replied as she yanked her arm out of his grasp.

As she got to the dungeon she sighed in relief to know she was the only one that would be taking up residency in the cold dark place.

The new guard walked behind her to her cell, unlocked the iron door and pushed her inside.

"You're a traitor and I can't wait to see your punishment." He spat as he slammed her cell door shut.

For the next three weeks, Luna Clarissa was tortured mercilessly. She was branded with a silver cattle prod, she was cut from eyebrow to lip with a silver knife, she was injected with wolfs bane, she was raped by the guard who pushed her into the cell, she was whipped with little silver blades and she was put out in the stock in the middle of the courtyard so people could inflict pain on her as well.

"Bennie, can we just kill her?" May whined as she and Alpha Benjamin walked by pushing a stroller with her son inside.

"Benjamin, can I please see him?" Luna Clarissa whispered in a hoarse voice.

"No. You can't. You're not his mother any more, I am. And I didn't even have to ruin my figure." May answered.

Luna Clarissa shot Alpha Benjamin a look with pleading eyes.

"Fine, one last look. Because tomorrow you are being executed. You won't give up the location, we cannot find a witch to help so we no longer have use for you." Alpha Benjamin spat her way as he pushed the stroller closer so she could see her son.

"He has your dad's nose and your mom's beautiful brown hair. I wonder if he will have my kind eyes or yours?" Luna Clarissa whispered, "I love you my son, no matter what they tell you; stay true to yourself and your pack. Do not let them corrupt you."

May walked up and slapped Luna Clarissa across the face and shouted, "he is no longer your son."

May and Alpha Benjamin walked off into the distance with the stroller that protects her son.

Two days later the guards came for her and took her to the clearing behind the mansion where the whole pack had gathered.

"It's too bad. I never got to fuck her pretty mouth." The guard who raped her said.

The second guard just held her arm loosely as they escorted her to the center of the field.

"You all know why we are here. Your traitorous former Luna decided that she would send my child off, my first born. She will not give up the location and no witch or warlock can be found to.." Alpha Benjamin began but was interrupted.

"I think I might be able to." A man said as he walked through the crowd.

When Luna Clarissa looked up and met the eyes of the man claiming he could get the location, they both froze. She looked at him with pleading eyes as he continued to walk toward her.

"Let's see what I can get, shall we?" The man said as he walked to where Luna Clarissa was.

"Don't do this. They do not know. It is my choice." She said with a strength she didn't have hours ago.

"Are you sure?" He questioned with sad eyes.

"Who are you?" Alpha Benjamin questioned.

"I am, Zeus, her brother." He explained and everyone gasped.

"What?" Alpha Benjamin yelled, "how did I not know you had a brother?"

"There are many things you do not know." Zeus told him and turned to Clarissa with sad eyes, "if this is truly what you wish, I will make sure no one interrupts."

"It is. I love you my brother." Clarissa cried.

"And I you my sister." Zeus said and gave her a kiss in her forehead then lifted his hand so everyone remained frozen but awake, silent but can hear and witness.

"I am the maiden. I am the mother. I am the crone. I have claimed the power my mother had and her mother before her. I ask my mother, my family and my children to forgive any misdeed against me. I pass my power on to my daughter. I call upon my mother to hear her, my father go guide her and my sweet brother to protect her." Clarissa declared then looked at her former mate one last time, "I would say I forgive you but I do not. From this day forward you will never have any more children, the children of my blood will remain pure and untainted. I hope they find a mate that was better to them than you were to me. I ask that they do not fight over who takes the position of Alpha because it will go to him."

Clarissa got up and walked over to her son. She bent down and placed a kiss upon his head and whispered, "May the gods and goddess protect you and guide you on the journey you just began. I am so sorry I have to leave you my son, just know that I love you and will always be here. I am but a prayer away."

She walked back over and commanded her former mate to get on with the execution. So as everyone stood frozen, Alpha Benjamin walked up to his former mate and cut off her head with a silver blade. As her head tumbled and her blood began seeping into the ground, saffron flowers started blooming around her body as mother earth wrapped Clarissa's body in roots and began to bury her then the sky wept.

The sky opened and began pouring rain down on the Blood Moon pack as they all stand frozen.

"You will regret this day. You will regret the day you messed with the mate bond. You think it was bad, her cursing you to never have a child again; it will look like child's play. And you," Zeus paused and pointed at May who's eyes were wide with fear,"I curse you to never have a child, to never finding your mate. I curse you both to slowly lose your mind and for that to hurt the pack that stood by so passively as my sister was tortured."

"Enough." A voice commanded as light shined in the field as soon as the light dimmed everyone unfroze and looked at the new voice. When they seen who it was, they all bowed their heads.

"Goddess." They whispered.

"Did you see what they did to her?" Zeus questioned.

"I saw. It was her choice and hers alone. It was in the prophecy. Do you remember? She knew she had to protect her daughter and this was the only way." The Goddess announced.

"But." Zeus began.

"No buts. It was what she wanted, do not ruin that but making it seem like a mistake." The Goddess explain.

"Yes mother." Zeus replied.

"Mother?" Alpha Benjamin whispered,"does that mean Clarissa was a Goddess?"

"Indeed." The Goddess replied as Zeus screamed, "DO NOT SAY HER NAME!"

"I would like to see my grandson now." The Goddess said.

"Of course, Goddess Hecate." Alpha Benjamin said.

Hecate walked up to the sleeping bundle in the stroller and looked at him.

"He looks just like his mother" Hecate said to Zeus who stared down to where his sister's body was and wept for the best friend and sister he'd never talk to again.
