Chapter 2 Something is missing

"Okay Luna, now that she's gone it's time to deliver the babies." The doctor said it a kind voice.

The Luna put her feet in the stirrups because the alpha didn't want to assist and got ready to push.

"On the count of three." The doctor said and began counting down but it was all an act. Only she and the Luna knew that one baby was already born and on her way to safety. Luna Clarissa just hated she couldn't do the same for her son.

The doctor began counting down and when she reached three Clarissa gave one push and her son was out.

"That was fast." Alpha Benjamin remarked.

"It was." The nurse said flabbergasted.

"Okay, now the second one." Alpha Benjamin commanded.

"That's not happening." Luna Clarissa replied as she held her son tight.

"What did you do!?" Alpha Benjamin demanded as his eyes went from chocolate brown to black in an instant.

"I assured my daughter's safety." Luna Clarissa said as she looked down at her son.

Gasps could be heard throughout the room. Everyone in the room had just heard the Luna admit that her first born was a female and her daughter would be the one to claim Alpha title and replace her father when she is of age.

"Where is she?!" Alpha Benjamin yelled at her, causing their son to wake and scream.

"Where no one will find her. Not you, not your trackers, not the Alpha King himself could find her. She is and will remain safe until she comes of age." Luna Clarissa replied with hatred as she pulled out her breast to feed her son.

Alpha Benjamin turned to the doctor with anger in his eyes and asked, "has any other she-wolf given birth within the last week or two?"

"Yes Alpha, two." The doctor replied.

"Good." He said evilly, "give me my son."

"No, he is mine too." Luna Clarissa replied defiantly.

"You no longer have to worry about that." Alpha Benjamin remarked as he walked up to his mate and took his son, "I, Benjamin Alfred Black, Alpha of the Blood Moon pack, reject you, Clarissa Ann Brochini as my Luna and my mate."

Everyone in the room was shocked that he made such a declaration, everyone but Luna Clarissa.

"I will find her. And when I do, I will kill her. She will know it was you who signed her death warrant." The alpha said with hatred as he walked out of the hospital room holding his son, "guards, take the former Luna to the dungeon. She is to be tortured until she gives up the location.
