Chapter 4 Am I Dreaming

The world was soo different to me, I kept looking around trying to figure out where I am or what type of metal animals are speeding on the road, soon enough I attracted attention to myself unknowingly, as I was still trying to cross the road, a vehicle on top speed hit me, I closed my eyes upon impact, I didn't feel a thing, as I opened my eyes I saw the vehicle all twisted and damaged, and there wasn't even a scratch on me, people around started filming and taking pictures, me being at the middle of the road froze, I couldn't move, I was scared and was trying to figure out what happened, just

then I heard a siren, it was the police, "Get on your knees" the first officer said as he got out of the car pointing a gun to me, I turned to face him, and tried to walk towards him "Stop right there or I'd shoot" the second officer said also pointing a gun at me, I did as I was told and I stopped walking, "Get on your knees" the first officer said as they both approached me, I got on my knees "I'm not feeling well I need to see the doctor or something " I said to the officer "put you hands in the air" the second officer said, I did that, then the first officer took my hands placed it behind my back and cuffed me, I didn't know what was happening, they dragged me and put me at the back of their vehicle, "There must be a misunderstanding here, am I being kidnapped?" I asked "I don't wanna hear any more questions from you" the first officer said as they zoomed off "What are you?" The second officer asked as he turned back to look at me "My name is crimson, and I'm a long way from home" I said "I need to get back home to see my parents" I added "You need a shower" the second officer said "you stink, and you look like you were just dug out of the grave, very dirty" the first officer said as they both laughed, I hated bullies so much back when I was in school and I didn't tolerate em, "Are you laughing at me?" I said with anger in my voice, "yeah we are what you gonna do, you piece of shit" the first officer said, "Disrespect me one more time" I said as my eyes turned bright red, "Whoa, Jim are you seeing this " the second officer said as he looked at me terrified, he brought out his gun and pointed it at me, "Who the hell are you people, and where are you taking me to" I screamed, not knowing I had fangs now, "Jim stop the car" the second officer said as he shot at me thrice, just then I didn't know what came over me, the cuff that seemed impossible to come off, came off easily, as I grabbed the second officers hand and snapped it, "My arm!!" He screamed, the first officer "Jim" then hit the brakes, as i went flying, shattering the windshield, I stood up from the ground running towards the police vehicle, then I felt a force push me from my side, and I hit the ground again, I looked up and saw the same girl from earlier on top of me, as he pinned my hands to the ground "Crimson listen to me, you have to control yourself we don't harm humans" she said as she looked sternly at me, just then I felt all the anger vanished, as I turned to look the officers wounded and bleeding came out from the car and started shooting at us, "Follow me crimson" she said as she took off, I pursued her and in a split sec we were out of the environment " what just happened I asked her as we slowed down and then finally stopped running "You were about to kill those officers" she said, "officers?" I replied "yes the work for the government and the protect the civilians" she said, "but they look so different from where I come from" I said to her " How many times do I have to tell you that you were dead for centuries " she yelled looking disorientated "I'm sorry" I said "I thought this all was a dream and I was far away from home" I added "do vampires teleport?" I asked "cause we were there and the next second we're here" I added "We don't disappear, we just have super speed" she replied as she walked away "Were you going?" I asked her, "it's obvious you don't need my help, you told me to leave you alone remember?" She yelled from a distance "I didn't say that, I just left" I said as I ran to meet her "means the same thing to me" she said still walking away "I'm sorry, I was just confused, pls I don't know what year it is and it's obvious that things have changed, I need your help to master my new found abilities, I also need a friend and a home" I said as I was now in front of her "ok but you have to follow my every instruction she said as she looked at me" "I promise" I said as we both started walking, "I didn't get to know your name" I said trying to act all charming "It's rose, and we really need to get you some new clothes so you could change, plus you need to shower" she said mockingly, I laughed " You're the boss" I said as we both left the scene.
