Beyond Death

My Is Crimson, I was named that cause my eyes where bright red right from birth and I was born on a crimson moon, some people called me strange, while others called me "Orame" meaning " the cursed child" in my native dialect, I was born on July 21st 1820 on a crimson moon, I heard a lot of stories about my birth, People said it was a blood bath, that my mom bleed out while pushing me out, I didn't get to meet my mom or my dad, stories has it that after my mom died he tried to kill me as a baby, he called me a curse, the neighbors didn't let him do that so he killed himself.

Growing up without my actual parents was really tough for me, I was the most hated kid in school, no one liked me, my foster parents tried to show me all the love they could, but i knew deep down they we're scared of me.

Years past, and I got into a lot of trouble in school which resulted in me being kicked out, so I stopped school and started helping out my foster dad at the farm, My foster dad "Billy", was a farmer, a hardworking one too, we weren't rich but he made sure I and my foster mom "Annie" were well taken care of.

I turned 16 I started having crazy nightmares, they all felt soo real, I was in the dream one time and I got stabbed in the chest with a wooden stake and I died, as I woke up I felt like it was because of the vampire and werewolf stories I've been listening to lately, it only got worse, night after night different nightmares, and I didn't tell anyone about them I kept it to myself as the nightmares became worse I started developing anger issues I got into a lotta fights with almost every kid around the block, and ofc I never lost any fight, my foster parents on the other hand were on the receiving side of my anger spree, everyday they get complains after complains about me, it didn't sit right with my dad as he always lashed out at me.

On August 4th 1836 I and my foster dad had a very huge fight, and I left him with a bleeding nose, out of anger and frustration he yell at me and told me to pack my bags and leave his house, me being mad at the moment took off into the woods, I kept running not looking back deeper and farther into the woods I got it soon it was nightfall and I didn't want to go back so I lay under a huge oak tree and tried to get some rest cause I was already tired from the running and then I dosed off.

I was woken up by a loud scream, it was a lady's scream, I jerked up and picked up a fallen branch to use as a weapon "what would a lady be doing here in the woods by this time?" I asked myself " it seems like she's in danger" I said as I rushed towards the direction I heard the loud scream, I saw trails of blood and then I got scared, "Was she attacked by wild animals?" I asked myself " Am I gonna be next?" "Will I die tonight?" All these thoughts kept going on in my head as my heart started beating faster, I tried to run and then I tripped over something and feel, just then I saw a body, a d

ead body, "this must be the lady that screamed" I said to myself, she wasn't putting on any clothes and I could see huge claw marks all over her body, and then on her neck I saw a huge bite, I went cold, my whole body started shivering "A vampire did this" I said "I thought they never existed" said to my self as I started running,

As I ran I could hear footsteps behind running behind me, I didn't wanna look back, I kept running and running, then I tripped on a fallen branch and I fell and bruised my head, trying to get up, I turned back I didn't see anyone , I got up just then I felt a sharp pain on my arms, "it's got me this time" I said to myself as I tried to set myself free, just then I heard bones cracking, it was my right arm, as I let out a loud scream I felt his fangs piercing my neck.

Few mins past as I lay on the floor bleeding out, the vampire was no where to be found, I struggled to move the more I tried the more pain I felt, I couldn't move or talk, And then I died.

"What's that smell?" I asked to myself as I tried to open my eyes , I could see a figure sitting right beside me staring at me, my eyes where still blurry, as I sat up I saw a young beautiful girl about my age, she had this beautiful blonde hair and her lips were like bright red roses, her eyes were blue like the sky, she was so pretty, as I groaned and looked down I saw she had a cut and was bleeding, for some reason I was being drawn to the cut, the blood smell was soooo intense and before I knew what was happening I grabbed her hand and started sucking draining the blood from her, I finall

y got myself to stop, I jerked up looking at the pretty blonde girl she looked pale, "Did I just.....?" I stammered as I moved back "it's ok Crimson, I want you to feed" she said as she came closer, I took another step back "Who are you?" I asked "How did you know my name? Where am I? " I asked as I looked around, just then the thoughts of the other night came rushing in "I died" I said as I looked at myself touching myself "he broke my arm" I said as I touched my arm just then it struck me, I was bitten and killed by a vampire the only logical explanation for this was I had to be a vampire too, "But why isn't the sun affecting me?" I said as I looked up "I know you have so many questions" she said to me, "I'm here to help crimson" she said to me as she took my hands "Yes you were killed by a vampire, and you were dead for 200years she said to me" Me still being surprised "200 what?" I asked "years" she replied " Are you joking with me right now?" I asked "I'm not crimson, you were killed by a rouge vampire, he's been Expelled from our coven for harming humans" she said "But it's obvious you weren't a human cause if you were you would have still been dead plus your body should have decayed by now" she added as she looked into my eyes "Coven? I must be dreaming" I said as I withdrew my hands "yes this is all a dream, if I wake up I'd still be on my bed, I was never killed by a vampire, vampires don't exist " I said out loud as I was pacing "we do exists and you've been one your whole life you just needed to die to awaken your vamp side " she said as she lay her hands on my shoulders "ok even if all you're saying is true which it's not, why am I just waking up now?" "I should have resurrected Long ago, why now?" "You're different from us crimson, you're a vampire by birth while the rest of us were bitten" she said "you're a vampire?" I asked "yes I am, and you're mother was too" she replied "I thought vampires are immortal, they can't die" I said to her as tears formed in my eyes" "We don't age and we heal quickly, but we sure do die" she said to me "no I can't take this anymore, I'm going to look for my parents" as said as I walked away "they're both dead, along with others" she said, just then I could feel this rage I've never felt before, I turned and grabbed her on the neck as I lifted her up "what did you do to them?" I screamed at her, unable to breathe she muttered "They died along time ago, they grew old and died" she said "What do you mean they grew old and died" I said my grip getting stronger "you were dead for 2 centuries and humans don't live that long" she muttered, just then I came back to my senses and put her down "I'm sorry I said" as I ran away crying.
