Chapter 5 Gaming disaster

My hand dug deep into my pack of chips to get another stack of addicting crisps .

I was comfort eating. I took the remote from on top my bed and turned on the television, immediately the TV booted Nickelodeon showed on my screen. Sue me if you want but I still watch cartoons; though Nickelodeon shows movies too. Currently Henry danger was showing, that's my second favorite, my favorite is Hunter Street.

I was engrossed watching the show, when someone knocked on my door.

"Arrrghhh , " I screamed, you know I feeling that you feel when you are very comfortable and then someone came to disturb you; that's the feeling I'm experiencing now.

" Who is that! " I yelled still feeling reluctant to get up.

" It's us you moron, open up now !" Chapa said from the other side of the door .

Immediately, i sprang up and rushed to open the door.

"Sorry guys, I didn't know it was you two," I apologized.

"Don't worry, we know that when you are eating whatever that is , you tend to be foolish," she said gesturing with her hands , I sent her a glare, she just laughed it off .

"Well I was actually eating bibble," I lied, waiting to see her reaction.

"What! Bibble? Give me some bobble, " she said diving on top my bed only to find chips.

I laughed so hard at her childish behavior, seeing her jump on top my bed like a monkey was very hilarious .

FYI (for your information) Tess has been addicted to bibble since 8 years, ever since then it grew worse . There was a time in the 7th grade when all she ate was bibble and though after taking her to a therapist she had cut down on her bibble intake sometimes infact most times she sees bibble she still crave for it. So we use to our advantage sometimes and to tease her. She so hate it .

"Dani ! " She screamed angrily matching to where I stood. I moved backwards.

"What? You started it , " I said before I could utter another word she grabbed a pillow and threw it at me and before I could even realise myself she had already grabbed hold of my hair and yanked it causing me to yell in pain as I begged for mercy.

"I have won again," Tess said as both Chapa and I had to take our third glass of water each for losing for the third time in the game of cards.

"That's not fair, you are cheating it's just that I haven't caught you yet," Chapa said sulking, she had a tiny bladder and after taking just the first glass of water she had gone to the bathroom thrice.

"This game is becoming boring because Tess haven't taken even a sip of water," I stressed, belching loudly before grabbing another pack of chips.

"Yeah," Chapa concurred.

"Fine.What other game should we play?" Tess asked.

"Truth or dare," Chapa said smiling, she so loudly this game. And I so hate it.

"Yes, truth or dare," Tess said smiling wickedly.

"No, I don't like that game, and you know it,"I said.

" Truth or dare ! '

" Truth or dare ! "

" Truth or dare ! " They chanted loudly.

Blackmailers .

They know I'd give in if they chant and they used it against me .

" Fine, what bad thing could happen in such a harmless game , " I said and shrugged.

"Who goes first? " Tess asked.

"Definitely not me," I said

"Then it'll be me , " Chapa said smiling sweetly .

"T or D ?" We asked in unison.

"T , " she replied.

"When last did you make out with someone," Tess asked .

"Oooo...that's a hard one ," I said and winked.

"That's not hard all.Actually it was yesterday, Matt and I made out in his car after school," she said without embarrassment.

Sometimes i wish I could be more like Chapa, she's very bold .

"Tess your turn ," I said.

"Okay. I choose D ," Tess said.

"I dare you to do I and Chapa's laundry for a month," I said, me and Chapa high fived.

Tess cursed.

"Dani T or D, " Tess asked eager to retaliate.

"Truth! " I yelled at her face.

"Who is your mystery crush? " she asked.

"Nobody, well maybe Jeff a little, " I said shyly.

"We knew that already,but hearing you say that is cute, " Tess said always trying to be the perfect match maker.

"Don't tell anyone. Ever, pinkie swear," i said and we pinkie swore.

It went on for over 30 minutes and so far i have been choosing only truth.

"This game isn't fair ," Chapa said abruptly.

"How ? " I asked sheepishly.

"You haven't chosen dare since we started playing this game," Chapa emphasized.

"Whatever it's a choice remember," I said smiling taking a handful of chips into my mouth.

Chapa snatched the packet of chips from me.

"Hey, what was that for? " I asked frowning slightly.

"Choose date or you'll never get this pack and chip back and neither will I let you eat any other as far as I'm here," Chapa threatened.

Chapa is like a Tomboy, she is the boyish one amongst us, Tess is the cheery cheerleader, she is extremely gorgeous and there is me, the awkward one who sucked at almost everything. So when chaos threatens it's for reals.

"Whatever, I choose dare this time, now can I have my chip back? " I asked, she just dumped it on my body and smiled mischievously, don't did Tess.

I knew I was in a big mess for choosing dare, it was like they had a plan all along.

"We dare you make sure Jeff agrees to help us prepare for the upcoming battles of the bands," Chapa said.

"What! Why! What! , " Came my inconsistent reply.

"Yeah, Dani be frank with yourself if he help us, we definitely have more chance of winning. With your great voice, my little skills with the guitar and Chapa's dual skills with both the drums and the keyboard. And that reminds you, we need an extra hand to take over one of Chapa's instruments, she can't be in two places at once," Tess said.

"See, that's why we need Jeff to coach us, he is almost good at everything, " Chapa said.

"He is literally great at everything, " I muttered under my breath.

"So its a yes right? Because if you break the code of truth or dare you know the consequences that follows." Chapa said.

"Off course I know, you are supposed to be my friends not my enemies. How can you dare me to do that?" I sulked, hoping they'll have a change of heart.

"It's for your own good too, toll thank us later," Chapa said.

"Fine, I'll do it. I would give Jeff the best reason to taunt me more," I said miserably as I toss my empty pack of chips on the ground.
