Chapter 3 More humiliation

" What ! " I exclaimed . I was beyond shock . How could he say such a thing . It was very weird , I twisted my face in disgust .

I wanted to reply before I heard laughter coming from the dickhead .

" So you seriously thought I'll want to kiss someone like you ? " Hw asked laughing really loud .

Scumbag .

" I didn't think that , I was just disgusted that you could think of such , " I said in defence .

" Really ? " He asked invading my personal space, with him this close , I couldn't help but catch a trace of his scent , his cologne mixed with the natural scent of his body distracted me . I hated how good he smelled ; it gave him an extreme unfair advantage .

I cleared my throat and looked at him eye to eye, trying my best to look as confident and unaffected by him as possible .

" Look , Danielle , we both know you are attracted to me . Just admit it," he said with an arrogant smirk as his piercing blue eyes stared down at me provokingly .

Subconsciously my eyes dropped to check him out . His navy blue jacket was left on the back of his chair so all he was wearing was his skin tight shirt which for some reason seemed attached to his body , exposing every inch of his body from his broad shoulders to his abs.

" My eyes are up here cupcake ," he teased snapping me out of my daydream .

I coughed awkwardly, as I tried to compose myself .

" Can you move out of the way ? " I asked politely , wanting to get further away from him as possible .

" No . I ain't gonna , "came his sassy reply .

I pushed him aside with all my strength but that only made him to take a few steps backwards .

" You are the last person I would ever want to kiss , " I said walking away . He grabbed my arms .

" And i was just wondering when you were going to stop shopping at the women's section and buy a male cloth in the men's section that will fit you for a change , " I said sass, as I eyed him.

" I think someone wants to get fired today , " he slat out spitefully , before letting go of my hands and heading straight for my boss.

" Wait ! I take that back , "

" That's not a good apology , you know , " he said with a cocky smirk .

" Fine. Sorry , "

" If you want me to forgive you , say this . " Jeffrey is the most sexy and handsome guy I have ever seen , " he said still smirking .

" No way! I'm not saying that, "

" Then I guess I'll be the one saying something to your manager , " He said and took another step forward .

" Fine , you win . Jeffrey is the most sexy and handsome guy I know , " I murmured grudgingly .

" I didn't quite hear you. say it again , "

That fool . I'm sure he heard it but just wants to frustrate me .

" Jeffrey is the most sexy and handsome guy I know , " I repeated in a hush tone .

" I still didn't hear you , " he said lamely.

"No way . I'm not saying it again , " I said annoyed with him .

"Then I guess I'll just tell your manager once and for all," he said with his signature smirk.

I really wish I could wipe that smirk out of his face but I couldn't, if not that I have received query from customers twice and my manager threatened to fire me when next it happens else I would have walked away from here.

I took a deep breath.

"Jeffrey is the most sexy and handsome guy I know ! " I exclaimed loudly to the hearing of everyone causing everyone to stare at us .

" You're happy now right ? " I asked in annoyance, already turning red in embarrassment.

" Yep. We are even now , " he said smiling widely. I could swear that he wants to laugh.

My manager walked to where we stood and I was already feeling nervous. You know this feeling that you have whenever you have flaunt the rules or have done something bad , that's how I'm feeling right now .

"Dani , " she called out.

"Yes ma, " I replied , my mind was racing very fast .

" You can bring your boyfriend to the restaurant , I'm fine with that but you shouldn't speak so loudly to the disturbance of the customers, okay ? " She said smiling. I couldn't believe my ears.

"Dani, " she called out again since I delayed response.

"Right ma. Thank you, " I said smiling crookedly as the fool Jeffrey puts his disgusting arms round my neck and I couldn't do anything since my manager is in front of me.

"Could you permit Dani to leave early today? We have plans, if you know what I mean , " he said as he winked at my manager who smiled in return.

"Sure. Dani you are excused for the rest of today. I think Lawrence can cover up since the customers are not much today ," she said and left.

Immediately she was gone, I snorted and removed his hands from my shoulders.

" Is that the thanks I get for helping you out of this shift ? "

" Thanks but no thanks idiot , " I said and ran to the counter to get Tess and my things .
