Chapter 5 New Girl Drama

Joanna's POV

It's been a month since I came to be in this school and may I say it's going well, that's apart from the occasional glares Tony and I exchange whenever we cross parts and the fact that Blake, Ifeanyi, Harmon,y and I can tolerate each other to the point of exchanging pleasantries.

Well, today is the starting of another week and I remember we were told by one of our teachers about a test today on a subject I don't remember.

I shook my head to rid it of education thoughts despite that I just stepped into the school hallway.

Speaking of, I immediately noticed it was buzzing with some recent news, how you may ask, well it's because students were standing a group of two's and three's or above muttering quietly to themselves.

"What are they buzzing about," Someone whispered in my ear completely startling me.

"Holy Shit." I jumped ready to attack the intruder but luckily I caught myself in time if not I would have landed myself in more trouble because it was the buffoon named Tony.

"What the hell is wrong with you," I hissed.

"Hey watch it with the feisty attitude before you damage something." He glared.

"Oh sorry, your high and ugliness I didn't see you there because of your dumbness," I smirked.

"What the---," He started, shocked "Bitch how can you call this ugly, and dumb?"

"Tell me are you blind or something, can't you see how my skin is glowing?" He scoffed, "Oh wait maybe you are blind."

"Are you deaf?" I grimaced. "Didn't you hear me call you ugly and dumb, dude, I suggest you visit your ear doctor because I can tell you need it."

"All of my body organs are in good functioning order!" He shrieked, getting riled up.

"They are not!" I exclaimed.

"They are!"

"I said are not."

"Are too."

"Are not."

"Are too."

"Hey, hey calm down you love birds I've been standing here for a while now and despite the fact you both didn't notice me, my eardrums are about to explode, so shut the hell up before I do something drastic!" Harmony whom I didn't notice before, screamed.

Tony and I both whipped our head in his direction so fast I was surprised we didn't hear a crack.

"What did you say, and when did you get here?" I asked disgustedly.

"Love birds," Tony repeated, giving me a weird look, "you didn't tell me you were into me."

"Oh please," I scoffed. "You? no way."

"How the hell can you not be into this exceptional advertisement of manliness," He said gesturing to his body.

"Am currently seeing a cockroach standing," I smirked and lent him a challenging look.

"Arrrggghhh!, quit it you two I said my eardrums are about to explode," Harmony screamed again, louder this time, and sent us both a slap upside the head.

"Ouch!" We both yelled at the same time, again like last time. Wow, why are we now saying things in synchronization? It's beginning to weird me out.

"Yes I did that, now shut up let's listen to what the buzz is about," He said giving us both a warning look.

"New Girl," Tony said smirked.

"Hot," Harmony grinned.

"I like them feisty," Tony beamed, wiggling his eyebrows at me. "That's why I like you," He winked.

"Dude hands off, she's mine," Harmony announced, not noticing the tension between Tony and me.

"Boys will be boys," I thought, rolling my eyes and jerked myself out of the trance Tony supposedly placed me in.

Suddenly everywhere grew quiet and the whisperings around us intensified.

All three of us turned and our eyes landed on a girl strolling down the hallway with confidence, not even looking scared or nervous as it should be on her first day, instead she walked with grace and a beautiful smile, she should be an inch or two taller than me from what I could see.

She had light fair skin like my brother Elvis, round brown eyes with a cute nose, and light brown lips which were stretched in a beautiful smile, showcasing shiny teeth, you couldn't fail to miss a slight gap between the two upper middle teeth.

"She is so joining our group," I heard the robots say.

For the record, they aren't real robots. In case if you are wondering they are just this stuck up group of girls who think they've got it all.

They had nice hairstyles, make-up that looked like paint, and very short skirts. Yes, the teachers saw the make-up and skirt they had on but didn't comment on it as they did with me on my first day even though my skirt was okay and I had no make-up on.

Well, that was because these girls were rich so they get away with almost everything.

The main reason I call them robots, it was due to their high pitched squeaky voices and the way they all do things in synchronization like smiling, laughing, hair flipping, winking, even walking in straight lines.

I was beginning to think they didn't have hearts but hey who am I to judge, maybe something cracked them up this way, who knows.

Back to the present, they all strode up to the new girl, and yes all of them, at the same time.

"This drama is so gonna be epic." Harmony laughed, producing his phone ready to record the epic moment but that was after he looked around and confirmed no sign of teachers.

"I personally don't think the new girl would fit into their group though." I shrugged.

"Me neither," Harmony replied.

"Not possible." Tony scoffed, with a shake of his head.

"Hey girl," I heard Stephanie who is the leader of their robot crew squeak, and yes her voice sounds that way, all of them do.

The new girl raised an eyebrow and bestowed on them questioning looks. "Are you referring to me?"

"Yeah cutie," Sandra the assistant robot leader as I would like to call her replied while winking at her crew in which they all gave her a saccharine smile.

Note: they all did this in synchronize with each other, you get what I mean?

"What can I do for you?" She asked, and I couldn't fail to notice an eye roll there.

"Uhm, we were wondering, since you are new and all would you like to hang with us" Stephanie replied giving her a weird smile.

"Nah" She shrugged. "I'm so sorry guys don't take it personally, it just sorta happens that I don't hang with robots because am human," She snickered.

The hallway grew quiet for the second time that morning as everyone was busy coming to terms with what just happened. I was even in shock, shocked is an understatement, I was rendered speechless.

"Did she just?" Harmony queried shocked.

"Oh yeah she, fvcking did." Tony grinned.

We all three looked at each other and immediately burst out laughing.

"Shit, that was epic, Harmony chuckled. "I'm so glad I got it on video."

"Yass," Tony and I muttered at the same time, again. This was becoming a habit, I was tired of both of us saying the same things at the same time, I mean it began to weird me out.

"Excuse me robots, I've got classes to attend," New girl snickered and walked away.

"Damn, am so loving this bitch," I thought as I watched her walk past everyone as if she didn't just leave us all in shock.

"She got fire bro," Harmony said with a smirk.

"Yes, and I like them feisty", Tony replied, giving me that steamy look that got my body tingling
