Chapter 5 no. 5 Again The Covered Face Man

"Good morning guys" I greet when I enter my office room to Madison and Peter.

"Good morning Beth" they both greet back.

I work in accounting and finance department with Madison, Peter and 3 more people. With help of Peter and Madison I learn quickly about the techniques that used in Lanister's corps for accounting and finance.

"Guys it's lunch time" Peter said with tired tone.

"It's lunch time and you tired ready" said Madison.

"Of course we working in Lanister's corps" he said.

"Alright let's go" Madison grab Peter's hand.

"Beth you're not coming" asked Peter.

"Umm..Nope. I bring lunch today, you guys carry on" I replied him.

"You bring lunch....hmm.. I though wanna treat you" Peter sassed.

"Well you can treat me tomorrow" I smiled.

"Anything you want Beth? We can get for you" said Madison.

"Thanks Madi..but it's okay.. you guys carry on" I nodded.

After they left, I make coffee for me. As Peter said it's kinda tired even though it's half of the day but I feel like I've worked for 24 hours. But surely it will be normal after this as everyone know it's Lanister's corps. I take a sip of my coffee and stand beside the window.

But I can't believe what I saw down at the street. The face covered man. He standing opposite of my office building. I wipe my eyes and check back at the street. He still there. But today he wave at me and still waving. That's scary. He know what he doing, he know that I'm looking at him. What should I do now. Should I go and talk to him or just stay.

I grab my phone and run to elevator. I need to know who is that. I have to find why he keep following me.

After the elevator opens, I move fast then ever. Now I'm at outside of my office building. And what is strange is he still there and still waved at me. Usually he will disappeared but today he is still here.

I decided to go near to him. When I near him I saw the pair of stormy gray eyes again. I really want to know who is that and why he following me. Those eyes I've saw them before this. Those eyes are very familiar. Surely there is some reason, that's why he keep following me. I start to walk more near to him.

Suddenly a strong arm grabbed mine. And I saw a pair of blue eyes which belong to Kim. Yes Kim holding my arm.

"What you doing here Ms. Davis" he asked with confusion.

"Umm Mr. Kim. I umm..." I babbled.

"Now is working hours you should be work" he said.

"No now is lunch hour" I answered.

He look at his wristwatch and stare at me few second and "Owh yeah!!, so where do you wanna get your lunch" he smiled awkwardly.

"Umm no I ask Peter to buy for me" I answered him.

"I'm just waiting for him" I added.

Kim stare at me for few second and smiled and went inside to the office building. Why Kim act so weird today. He usually don't talk to me like this.

I sighed and focus again at the street. As I thought he is not there. Of course he will disappear when I try to reach him.

"Beth what you doing here" now it's Madison.

"I..umm..nothing...." I replied.

"Beth look what we get for you" Peter said excitedly.

"Coffee...Thank you Peter" I smiled and went back to the office.

Who is that face covered man? Why he keep following me? I ask myself again and again. I only know about him is his eyes. He have stormy gray eyes, exactly same with Ethan. Maybe is that Ethan who following me. No no, why would he do that. But what if he does that. What if Ethan is that face covered man, what if both are same person.

"Ughhhh....Godddddd!!!! what is happening" I screamed.

"Beth!! what happen..are you alright" Madison ask with confused tone followed by Peter.

Then only I realized I screamed loudly.

"Nothing... nothing's happens....I'm fine" I smile awkwardly.

And I notice my boss I mean Ethan also watching my act. But he didn't ask anything and didn't show any expression on his face and he left. That's make me more curious. I should not confused now.

Both are different person or same person I don't care. I have to focus on my work now. But one more time, justtttttt one more time that face covered man appear in front of me mean, I gonna make sure find out who is that and why he keep following me.

Ahhh the coffee..hmmm thanks to Peter, much needed now.

"Yes yes yessssss Madi it's happening.. It's on Friday" Peter screamed happily.

"What's Friday" Madison and I asked.

"The annual party guys" he said excitedly.

"Are you sure Peter" Madison asked seriously.

"Look" he shows his phone to Madison.

She seem excited too. And I'm the only blur there.

"Beth it's annual party Beth annual party" now Madison scream.

"Annual party??" I questioned them.

"Yes.. Every year Lanister's corps will arrange a annual party which all the other corps will join" Peter said.

"There will be the huge party and all the companies will join" Madison added.

"What is more fun is we can bring someone with us to the party. I mean as your date" Peter said.

"Yes, and if you don't have one mean you can find one there" Madison smirked.

"Hahahaha yes yes. Beth the party usually held in December but our boss arranging early" Peter said happily.

"The party usually based on unique themes" he added.

I nodded silently.

"There will be more fun Beth" added Madison.

"Pete did they mention anything about the themes?" Madison questioned.

"Nope, maybe they will inform later, we still have 2 days" Peter giggled.

I just watch their conversation in silence. I don't know what is so excited about a party. I mean it's just a party, I utter myself.

But I have to bring someone with me. I can't go to a party alone, of course I never been to a party before. Someone very familiar to party. It's a big event. I cannot be a spoiler there.

So I know the person to bring with me.

AMIE...I should bring Amie with me to that party. She got attend office party before after all she is my senior who get a job before me. But how should I confess her. She will definitely say no if I ask her because of her ex boyfriend.

But I know bring Amie is the best. Maybe she will say yes. What if she said no. No!!! I have to make her say yes. I'm bringing Amie to the party with me.

"Helloooo!!! I'm home" I scream when I enter to our apartment.

I saw Amie at study table doing something with her lappy.

"Amieeee look what I buy for you and your favourite choco almond fudge" I give her full bag of chocolates and ice creams.

"Owwhh look like someone need something from me" she mocked me.

"Hihihi...Amie you are my best friend right..?" I asked sillily.

"hmmm.... what you want Beth ? tell me" she smirked.

"Am there is a office party" I began.

"No" she finished.

Whattttt I'm not even finished it she said no. What should I do now.
