Chapter 4 no. 4 Blushing

"Ms. Davis" mumbled Ethan.

"Uhm...Good morning Mr.Lanister...Good morning Mr.Ston..Mr.Howard" I greet them nervously.

They both nodded and start to heading to meeting room. I sighed and look at Peter and Madison.

"What was that? Why they act weird today?" asked Madison.

"Yeah I notice that, hey Beth you know them before or something else going on???" smirked Peter and make fun of me.

"I have no idea and you Pete don't give me that look". I replied him and back to work.

Some people are talking that this time Mr.Howard will take over Lanister's Corp, some of them believe that Ethan will win as always.

Lanister's Corp is on of the top company that Mr.Howard always want to take over but Ethan's smart moves will always give disappointment to Mr.Howard.

3 hours passed I saw Mr.Stone face passed by my office room followed by his bodyguard and assistants.

Now I know why people call him Stone face instead of Pretty face. Because I can't see any smile on his face. Ethan will smile even though he is arrogant but Dominic Howard is total opposite.

He is cold, arrogant, I think he don't know how to smile. And he speak less. Like how can people can speak less but he does. After a moment I saw Kim at corridor.

"Hey Kim is everything alright"Peter asked.

"Yes as usual, again we win"said Kim with smile.

"Thank God, I don't want to work under that Stone face"said Madison.

"But he is handsome and hot"shot Peter.

"You always admired him Pete" snapped Madison.

I keep silence and listen to their conversation with smile.

"I don't think I'm the only who admire him Madi, you know girls out there are dying for take a picture with him and I think someone here also start to admire him"said Peter while smirking at me.

"Oh come on I'm not admiring him.. he just cute"I snapped.

"Erm erm... someone is blushing now" Peter start to make fun of me.

The room is full of laugh before we finished our shift. By the way I'm working in morning shift. Since it's my first day Amie decide to pick me up.

"Hello Ms Davis" Amie mocked me.

"Hello Ms Johnson" I mocked her back.

"So how is your work today" she asked.

"Well well it was fun and excited"I said.

"Yeah I can see that in your face, morning you lazy bud to get to work now you so much excited.. What exactly happens Ms Davis?"she asked me.

"Hey Am you know the Corporate Monster?" I questioned.

"Yeah of course who does not know him.. Corporate Monster aka Dominic Howard aka my new boss"she motioned.

"What your boss.. no way he take over your workplace" I asked with laugh.

"Yes he did last month.. my ex boss lose his company to Dominic. Now I work for him. And why you exactly asking about him. Don't tell me you work for him too.?" she asked.

"Of course not... you think he can easily take my workplace from Ethan Lanister aka your ex boyfriend aka my new boss"I laughed.

She rolled her eye and"then why you asking about him Beth?"

"Well I saw him this morning in my office. I think he have meeting with Ethan, I don't know exactly what meeting but I'm sure he's not taking over your ex boyfriend's company" I said.

"Bethanyyyyyyyyyy !!!!!"she barked.

"OKAYYYYY SORRYYY"I yelled.

We both decide to have dinner at nearest restaurant. We order some food and enjoy it while Amie tells about her work.

"I think Beth if Dominic take over Lanister's Corp mean you will resign yourself from there." she said.

"Why ?"I questioned.

"Well Dominic is not like other bosses. He is quiet strict about work and also we can described his personality too. He is too straight forward, if he find a small mistake mean he will fired you, that's his character. He didn't want to see a single mistake in his work and expect same to his employee. I think that's the secret of his success."she complimented him.

"Why you say I will resign myself, you think he will fired me if I work for him"I asked her.

"No Beth I'm saying you can't handle him, I mean if you work with him for sure you both end up with fight. I know about you Beth, he is arrogant and you hate arrogant people that's what I'm saying"she finished.

"Whatever... why would I end up working for him? If I have Ethan as my boss?"I smirked.

"But Am don't you think he is cute?" I asked her.

"Cuteeee!!! My Beth... you saying someone is cute, Wow and who is cute Dominic Howard is cute.. hahahaha"she laughed.

"Whattt...I'm not saying he is cute. My colleague said it, I just asking you that he is cute or not??" I coped and smiled.

"Yeah of course Dominic is handsome, cute, hot and his arrogance personality will spoil him. And I think you are blushing now!"she teased.

"I'm not blushing. What you saying Am?" I stated.

"I can clearly see your red cheeks now Bethany. You are blushing now" she teased again.

"Amie stop it. I'm not blushing fro Mr.Stone face"I snapped.

"Mr.Stone face you already give him a nick name. Wow Beth!!"she teased.

"I didn't gave anyone any nick name. My colleagues calls him like that. If you're not believe me means let me call my colleague Peter. He will tell you" I claimed.

"Relax Beth I believe you" she smirked with joking tone.

"And you are blushing" she added.

"Amieeee!!!" I growled.

She surrendered with her both hands in air and keep laughing and make fun of me.

Am I blushing ? Am I blushing for him ? For that Mr.Stone face ? But why ? My thoughts running all over again.
