Chapter 4 Let Her Have a Look at The Kid

Chao Sheng meant what he said. Few days later, there came a man in white coat informing her to stay and he would bring kid there.

"It's ordered by Mr Chao that you need to get injection first to avoid accidents."

Seeing the shining needle point, Qin Qin suddenly was reminded of the thing said by Luo Qianyi. She said it was of no side effect? Without a second thought, she rolled up her sleeves and stretched out her arm.

Qin Qin shivered once the cold needle was into her body.

"Er, when can I see the kid?"

"Half an hour later, when the drug takes effect."

Once the drug was into her body and took effect, she was paralyzed and fell onto the sofa. Dizziness constantly struck her. The drug made her head spin and she just wanted to stop resisting and fall asleep.

However, she couldn't, for if so, she would never see her kid again. She bite her lips hard to keep herself awake. It was not until the taste of blood came to her mouth before she regained a little bit consciousness.

After a torturing half an hour, there finally were people coming outside the door. She turned her head immediately and saw a kid was in the arms of Luo Qianyi. The kid was well wrapped and she could only see the little arms and legs of the kid.

Servants were sent away. Luo Qianyi smiled sweetly with her head tilted, "Brother Sheng was busy with company affairs. He let me to bring the kid here for you to have a look."

Before Luo Qianyi could come near, Qin Qin couldn't resist the drug effect and fell onto sofa again. Still she was eager to see the kid and stretched her neck long, "Baby!"

It was her kid, the kid she had been thinking of all the time during the past three years. She finally made it to see the kid.

Luo Qianyi's hand slipped down the kid's face. She was with an indifferent look, "Shh, you'd better keep your voice low. The baby was asleep, sound asleep."

Qin Qin swallowed the words around her mouth and even breathed carefully. "Could you please let me to have a look?" pleaded Qin Qin.

Luo Qianyi ignored her words and said to herself not far away from Qin Qin, "He slept tight in my arms! He is with a smile on his face and must be dreaming about something funny."

Qin Qin swallowed, gnashed her teeth and tried again to stand up. Yet feebleness stopped her. She rolled down from the sofa with head hit against the tea-table. Gasped in pain, she fell dizzier.

No one came to help. Qin Qin was just eager to see the kid with head lifted up and she remained in the same position.

The kid was in a place next to her less than five meters. As long as Luo Qianyi stepped further, she could see her kid.

"Miss Luo, could you please..." Considering the baby was sleeping, Qin Qin kept her voice low, "...walk a few more steps?"

Luo Qianyi stood still and looked downwards, "I'm tired hugging the kid and don't want to walk further. You come here yourself."

Come there myself? However, not a slight strength remained in her body now.

She then pleaded again, "Drug take effect. I can't make it, Miss Luo. Could you please come over here?"

"Then how about begging me with your knees down?"

Apparently, Luo Qianyi was putting her in a difficult situation. Qin Qin clenched her fist, breathed in more air, and saw the back of the kid for seconds before she slowly folded her legs and kneed towards Luo Qianyi.

Qin Qin begged in a trembled voice with tears dropping down to the floor, "I beg you, beg you to let me have a look at the kid."

"I also want to let you have a look at the kid, but..." Luo Qianyi stopped for several seconds on purpose and continued with a hesitated look, "Still, I don't want to move, you come here yourself."

After the words, she transferred the kid to servants, had people moving a chair for her and sat on it.

Seeing what Luo Qianyi had done, Qin Qin lifted her head in astonishment.
