Chapter 6 1.4 The first world

A tall, and muscular young man, dressed in a stylish grey coat, is sitting comfortably in a cafe. The cafe is located in the middle of City A. This cafe is one of the most popular attraction spots of this busy city.

Cafe Au Latte.

This handsome young man is currently being admired by the other customers in the cafe, mainly by the women. They have been whispering nonstop while looking at him excitedly.

"Oh my god! He is so handsome!"

"He's definitely a model, no, a celebrity! I will be his passionate fan and follow him on social media!"

"If I asked, will he gave me his name and his personal phone number?"

The man is sipping is his black coffee gracefully. Smile always decorating his handsome face.

Ting! Ling!

The bell in the main door is ringing softly, indicating a new customer is entering the cafe.

Another young man in casual clothes stepped inside. A pair of sunglasses is hiding his beautiful pairs of obsidian eyes. His lips curved into a charming smile when he saw his acquaintance's face.

"Ah Wei!" Diana waved her hand excitedly at Zhang Wei, which in return, the man is also enthusiastically waving back at her. He then approached the girl.

Although his eyes are hidden behind the sunglasses, one cannot deny his excitement in seeing her.

Suddenly. he bumped into someone. The handsome man from earlier standing abruptly and Zhang Wei collided with the taller man's sturdy chest.

"I am sorry! I didn't realize someone is walking behind me!"

"No, no, it's okay. This is also my fault." Ryan rubbed his nose. Oww, is that a chest or a wall? That's hurt.

"Are you okay?" The man asked in concern. His guilty expression is clearly shown on his handsome feature.

Ryan is stunned when he saw the man's face in a closer distance. Wow, really handsome, ah! If he is gay, this man is definitely a great catch. But, since he is straight, he didn't really care. "It's okay, don't worry. I am sorry for interrupting your breakfast. My friend is waiting over there. Until next time." Ryan gives him a polite smile before he goes to the furthest seats in the corner of the cafe. He is completely oblivious about the change in the taller man's eyes. From a gentle gaze into a predatory look.

The atmosphere turned chilly for no reason.

Ryan sighed. Aigoo, this is only his first world, and he just started his first mission after White Ball practically begging him while in tears. Why his life is so hard?

He checked his transparent monitor which displayed his personal information and the missions he needed to complete. With a slight swipe of his index finger, the screen appeared in front of him. Only he, himself could see this invisible monitor.

1.Stay alive in this world until 30-100 points

2.Reveal the Female Lead's true face-50 points

3.Become a well-known person in the country-100 points

Hidden Mission: Catch the serial killer-1000 points.]

Ryan decided to do only two main missions, the first and the last one. If he can solve the serial killer case, his name will be known in the whole country. It's like killing two birds with one stone. And, for the Female Lead or the Male Lead? He absolutely didn't care about those overbearing characters.

"Ah Wei? You looked tired. Is your clinic is doing well?"

Diana noticed that Zhang Wei had changed. Before, his personality is more reserved and restrained. Now? He is a bit straightforward and has more confidence when he talks. His once slouched shoulders and slumped back had regained its backbone.

Ryan unconsciously had gripped his glass hard enough, making the fragile glass chipped and cracked before shattered to pieces. He didn't register the pain of being stabbed by broken pieces of glass. Instead, he felt muddleheaded.

The anchor's voice is ringing in his ears. Repeating the same news, again and again. Then, he snapped back from his trance-like state.

"DOCTOR JACKAL," Ryan shouted angrily. His eyes flashed a dangerous,bright red color. "I SWEAR TO STOP YOU THIS TIME!"

The condominium building shook for no reason as if it's experienced a severe shock wave.
