Chapter 3 ** Gray's Corporation **

Scarlet rushed hurriedly to the corporation building and was wondering if she really had been working with these people.

The corporation building was quite huge and was standing high like a pillar on the ground with its apex almost 10-20 storeyed. She was quite mesmerized with the surroundings and was appreciating the area while the loud voice of a car horn brought her back to reality.

She realized the sole purpose of her landing here even in her college attire and hurriedly headed towards the inside of the building where she halted her footsteps at the reception area.

Looking at the receptionist who was a blonde lady in her mid-thirties, working on some files and typing something on the laptop in front of her eyes covered with glare lens glasses, who was well aware of Scarlet's presence there yet didn't bother to spare even a single glance to her, Scarlet cleared her throat and inquired about the CEO of GRAY'S CORPORATION .....

"Well ...... Excuse me ! Could you tell me where could I find Mr. Gray ?"

The receptionist glanced and replied at the girl as if she was looking at the most beautiful creature she had ever seen wondering as to how Mr. Gray got so lucky to have been visited by such a beautiful and pure girl, whose silhouette gave off a quite pure yet dangerous and super observative aura ......

"Turn left and take the elevator No. 4, afterwards reach the top floor and turn right. He is in there."

Just as Scarlet thanked her for help and was about to move her smooth and beautiful milky legs, the receptionist warned her to hurry and said ...

" little girl ! Hurry up, He has a meeting due within 15 minutes. Afterwards, you won't be able to see him off."

Scarlet chuckled in her mind, knowing perfectly as to what meeting Mr. Gray had been going to attend and why she had been summoned over here so urgently. She still respected the lady and nodded her head in a yes and headed towards Mr. Gray's cabin on the top floor.

She knocked at the door frame and heard the voice of a man from inside saying " Come in" whom she guessed would be a 35-40 years old man and to her utter surprise, as she set up her feet inside the cabin, she found a man looking all ironed up sitting in an office chair, looking over something and frowning hard as if he wasn't understanding something, and was in his mid-thirties.

"Hello, Mr. Gray!" Said Scarlet with a faint smile on her cherry lips.

"Oh, yes, girl ! Who are you ? How can I help you ?" inquired Gray, not knowing about her. Well ... it's not his fault too, as it was his first meeting with her. Prior to it, they really never had any meetings and Scarlet used to design the weapons and just had the file delivered to the Corporation and the money was paid off in cheque to her.

" Well ..... It's SCARLET LOZENGE .... MR. GRAY ......... I have been called here ... I am the Weapon Designer."

"What ...!!" surprised and somehow impressed asked Mr. Gray to confirm to which Scarlet only smiled. He gestured her to take a sit and explained to her the problem of the design, which he wasn't able to understand properly.

Wondered as to how he was able to manage the weapon making business, if he couldn't even eliminate a simple flaw in the design, which wasn't even a flaw, but a printing mistake only, she explained that to him and told about the weapon in detail which even more impressed Gray as to how could a little girl know so much about weapons, but didn't utter anything as he was getting late for the meeting with AZURE.

He got up and thanked Scarlet and felt sorry for not attending her properly because of the meeting to which she said it's very fine politely.

Meanwhile, a handsome, sexy and husky man appeared in the building on the same floor with his all apprentices for the meeting in his full glory. And on the same side, Scarlet left the cabin and was walking towards the elevator immersed in her phone.

The man was extra calm like a clear sky, and when he crossed the way from where Scarlet had just left, he immediately paused there and subconsciously closed his eyes and felt the kissing sensation over his eyelids, which he felt almost everyday getting up after sleeping.

It shocked him to the extent that all the calmness on his sexy face just faded away, leaving the lines of surprises and pain along with agony as he started looking here and there immediately to find someone or something, but ended up getting nobody in vain other than his Beta and bodyguards. Composing himself again for the meeting, he headed towards the meeting room.

ON THE FLIP SIDE, when Scarlet just entered the elevator and pressed the button to the first floor, she felt a throbbing pain in her heart, as her heart had been stabbed with a sharp object and had been taken out piercing her muscles, bones and all the ribs, only to let the red blood flowing through the deep and giant hole created.

The sensation was too real that she had literally put her smooth hand over her heart and started crying and winching in pain, screaming loudly, frowning hard and clutching her dress with the other hand.

The pain became more and more unbearable as she was about to pass out, her vision got blurry, and legs wobbled, yet she heard a heart-wrenching shrill voice saying

" I have ended the blood pact ! "

The elevator reached its destination, and she gushed out like a thunderstorm and literally ran with all her might while holding her heart towards the open garden outside the building to breathe fresh air.

She composed herself after some time and headed towards home wondering .... If she had really heard the voice, or she had been hallucinating .... And if she really did hear the voice .... Then what was this BLOODY BLOOD PACT ???......
