Chapter 2 ** Sneak Peak **

EMERALD'S POV

It's been ages since I am feeling like this. No doubt, I am the most wanted and successful man, or you can say the prince of Azure family ; hold on should I say THE AZURE CLAN ..... ... .. I should be happy, contended, satisfied because I have the life every other person dreams to have.

Although I am way too old, yet I still look sizzling hot and mesmerizing, people, or should I say humans look at me like I am a teenager ? .

The ladies and girls treat me as a piece of some cake, as if at any moment if they are given a chance, they wouldn't even hesitate to devour me to their fullest.

I am the most successful businessman, not only the business but also the most adored and loved prince of the werewolf clan, yes I am the Alpha, although I am the Alpha, yet father want me to realize my aim, so he hasn't approved of my coronation till today.

But today it is set to be the Coronation day for which I am not that much of excited. As for me, these things doesn't matter because nothing would change after that too, just the people would start treating me as a king in spite of father being the one for the time being.

Father wants me to be care-free and enjoy every fraction of my life, that's the reason I love him the most. Despite being a werewolf king, father is just like a human in expressing feelings of love and care, he is way too gentle, so I want to be like him. Every other creature respects him.

Since I have understood about how it works to be a werewolf and have realized my responsibilities, I am helping father to settle the chaos among various clans and live peacefully.

I got up from my king-sized bed in my most majestic room. This is an advantage of being the prince that you get the most comfy bed and most precious things. Well...... It brings a lot of responsibilities along with it too.

I looked up and opened my Emerald green eyes, and felt a sudden movement over my eyelids. Yes, it's been happening to me since my 18th birthday, now it's been hundreds of years, I get up with this sensation every day and end up being confused as to what it is and why do I feel like this as someone has just kissed my eyes.

I talked to father nearly 400 years ago about this and told him regarding this, he got bewildered and didn't answer to my questions, rather told me that he would talk to the head healer.

The head healer tried his best but was unable to answer and then father suggested me that one day I would get answers to all my questions, till then only, I have to wait patiently. Now the scenario is something like that if I don't feel it, I conclude that today something is going to happen.

This sensation of feeling kissed just before opening my eyes has become a part of my life. It comes with so many feelings like eternal love, although I have never been in love, yet I can feel it is something like that, some guilt, agony, fear of loosing.

Today is my Coronation which I know for sure isn't going to happen because I have already known how perplexed mother was when she overheard people talking about my mate. So, I would better be off for meeting with the GRAY'S CORPORATION who deal with manufacturing armories and transporting them to the far away places to help the army curb the terrorists and make lives peaceful.

I did my morning chores and stepped out of my room only to find my younger brother, who is always mischievous and comes to me early in the morning when he needs something from me.

Sensing the situation I asked Now, what have you done Sammy ??" with a frown

"Oh brother ! You are super cool, how can you always guess that I must have done something and need you to protect me from mother ? " Sammy said with pleading and puppy eyes.

"As I have guessed. Well, rest assured, whatever you have done, I will convince mother not to scold you as long as your doing is not harming anyone."

"Thanks a lot brother, I would treat you surely, you are my savior. I love you even more" with that Sammy bowed in front of me like he is someone who got escaped from a severe punishment and is now buttering his savior.

I sighed, because I know after some days, this little brat would do something again and come to me again for protection. Only Moon Goddess knows for how long this brother of mine is going to be non-serious.

I arrived at the dinning table in all my charming looks because now I have to plead to mother to not punish that punk for whatsoever he had done.

"Good morning, mom" I greeted mom with all my charms and love towards her. I am her favorite person among all of us three (me, dad and my little brat).

Mother looked at me like she is convincing herself to not scold me always for saving Sammy for his deeds, and then looking at my smiling face she sighed and accepted my good morning and kissed on my cheeks.

" Why do you always save him ? You know what he had done this time ? "

"Mom is this serious enough for you to scold me for saving him ?"

" Ok, Ok.... I get it, but this is last time. Now, have your breakfast, I prepared everything according to your liking.

" You must hurry Emmy, you are going to be late my dear. " She responded reminding me about the meeting which was a signal that the coronation ceremony had been postponed again.

I could see this written over mother's face. She was worried about me but what could be done now. When you yourself are a prince and still are unable to convince people, things turn out raspy and hurt your loved ones.

I had my breakfast and then bid goodbye to mom and with my Beta, and some bodyguards, headed towards GRAY'S CORPORATION in all my glory.

In the outskirts and away from the hustling and bustling modern city life, in a small town and in a pretty house, a girl was screaming on top of her lungs....

"Mommmm......

Mommmmmm!!!!!!!!"

A lady in her near 50s came running towards the room from where these voices of calling her mommmm were coming with a soup spoon in her hands and asked looking at the messy surroundings to her pretty daughter

" What happened sweetie ? Why were you calling mom like that ? Did something happen ? Are you alright baby ?"

Scarlet sighed at her mother's possessiveness over her and replied with a tired and exhausted look

" Mom, I have been trying to find out my design book since long time. Where is it ? I have turned the whole room upside down, and yet I can't find it still. Did u see it ? Or have you kept it anywhere by chance ? "

She knew no matter how loving her mother was, but she could be unreasonable to her sometimes too. She was guessing that her mom had surely hidden her design book somewhere to stop her from spending all her free time working in it.

Jessica, her mom replied while holding the soup spoon tightly with baby and pouty face

" Yes, I have hidden it. And I won't give it to back unless and until you promise to join the cooking classes and learn some household chores like a girl. Why do you always have to act like a superwoman?"

Scarlet knew it for sure that it was her mother, because her dad was always supportive over her decision of weapon designing since her childhood and her brother even found her way too cool ... so, by no chance it was any of them.

She pleaded to Jessica " Mom, you are so sweet, please give me back my design book Na, I have a recent design in my mind. I need to draw it before it messes up inside my brain, mom. Please please please ? !!!!! "

Jessica was left bewildered at her daughter's acting skills and replied getting lost again " Fine ! I will give it back to you but ..."

Scarlet cut her amidst of her words in surrendering tone " I would join the online cooking classes mom and I will also help you in cooking at weekends. Now would you please give me back my design book ?"

Jessica went towards the messed up cupboard of scarlet and took out the design book hidden under Scarlet's undergarments and with a coquettish smile handed it over to scarlet.

Scarlet got amused over her mother's skills, and slapped herself inside her mind,, but nothing could be done now as she had already taken the bait and was trapped in her mother's plan.

Thus, she took her design book from Jessica and sighed relieved and thought of keeping it hidden from her mother, so that she won't be able to blackmail her in the future over it again.

Jessica immediately smiled and went back to the kitchen again.

11:00 a.m. , XYZ UNIVERSITY

Scarlet was sitting in the class and was chit-chatting with her friends, meanwhile she received a call and immediately rushed outside the class.

One among her friends had called her and asked as to where she was heading to ....

Scarlet replied while rushing " GRAY'S CORPORATION".
