'Ahhhh...!'

Izzabelle Smith groaned. She was awakened by her ringing alarm. Eyes still closed, she roamed her hand beside her lamp to reach for it. Turning off ,she raises her duvet above her head trying to close her eyes again .

Knock!

Knock!

Knock!

She was startled to hear another set of noises stealing her chances to get some additional sleep. Squinting her eyes, she sighed.

'I guess I need to get up now' she thought to herself frustrated. Getting up, she made her way to her bathroom to take a quick shower and brushed her teeth. After having done, she wrapped herself in a body towel and headed to her wardrobe.She choose to wear a simple knee-length dress and a pair of black flats that would make her feel comfortable the whole time. She fixed her hair in a messy bun and applied a little lipgloss. Satisfied with her looks, she turned around, grab the purse with her phone and.. her eyes widened in surprise.

"What we're you doing here brother?"

She was surprised to see her younger brother leaning on the door frame watching her getting ready for school.

"I've been knocking on your door for long so I decided to open it myself. Let's get down together." Inzo said gently.

"Okay..! Inzo is there something wrong with you?" She asked him suspiciously.

They were close to each other since they were younger but her brother seldom waits for her patiently. She was confused as to why he suddenly acts like this.

'Hmmm..maybe he wants something from me?' she muttered to herself trying to think of something.

"No. I just want to check on my sister and have breakfast together. Can't I?" Inzo speak casually.

She sighed in relief knowing her brother was totally good.

"Fine..! Let's go!"

She speaks while holding her brother's arm, walking down the stairs simultaneously.

"Morning mom, dad!" Izza and Inzo greet their parents while kissing their mother's cheeks.

"Morning kids, take your seat and eat your breakfasts." Her mom urged.

"Izza I'll drop you to school today, okay?" Her dad told her.

She just nodded her head and focused on her food to avoid being late.

"Izzy I'll be taking Inzo with me today. We need to meet someone." Her mom informed her.

"Okay mom! Please be careful on the way. See you later brother..! "

Done with their breakfast, they bid goodbyes to each other and went on their separate destinations.

During her lunchtime...

She received an urgent call from her father that made her heart skip a beat. Her dad's voice tremble on the other end while telling her to come home immediately.

Shaking and confused, she hopped in a cab and headed back home with urgency.

Arriving at the gate of their mansion, she payed and exited the cab and run inside their house trying to find her dad.

"Dad I'm home..! Where are you?" She shouted loudly.

"I'm here princess!" Mr. Smith approach his daughter and hug her tightly.

She was surprised when her father hugged her tight. And she was even more surprised when she felt her father is trembling and sniffing.

"Dad what's wrong? Your scarring me.., please talk to me..!" She pleaded shakily.

Pulling away from her daughter, Mr. Smith wiped his tears with the back of his hand and inhaled deeply. Finding the right words to tell on his daughter. He knows Izzabelle loves his Wife and son so much. She would break down when she find out.

Gathering enough courage to speak seems too hard for him. But he needs to tell her the news. Clearing his throat, he speaks in a gentle manner.

"Princess, your mom and brother are gone.., their car was blown up at the road on their way home."

She was shocked when she heard her father's revelation. Her mind went blank all of a sudden. Tears are running down her cheeks. Her heart clenched, she suddenly felt dizzy. She closed her eyes and...
