Time flies and midterm week is approaching, I can feel the pressure under our nose, Olly decided to stick with me, she is so talkative, we can even survive the day on her do the talking, she has a lot to say and tell, but I'm getting used to it, somehow, I find it entertaining listening to her stories.

We decided to kill time by hanging out in a nearby park, but Olly seems off, she's not the usual her, who always talk and tell stories, waking up on the wrong side of the bed? if I were someone else maybe I would be scared, but nah.

"You okay, dude?" I asked and sat down in front of the bleach we passed. It was tiring to walk. It was right that it was under a big tree, so it was fun to hang out. It was nice to feel cold.

"Aldrin is being a jerk!" She said frowning. She was referring to her boyfriend, whom she started dating last summer before she went to college, so they are probably three or four months old. By her looks right now, they seem to had a fight, or worst they are about to break up. It's obvious that the man is not that serious with her. She is really blind. That's the problem with those who are too in love, they no longer see the flaws that could be the reason for the break up.

"You guys fought?" She nodded, I sighed and took the bread from my bag, I was hungry, so I ate first, while we waited for our group members for the oral presentation for tomorrow.

"I caught him flirting with someone else. I took his phone, good thing he hasn't changed his password yet, there, I saw how they fucking flirt as if He don't have a girlfriend." She replied annoyed, I was not even surprised if that was the cause of their fight.

"Okay? Then, what did you do?" I offered her the bread I was holding, she shook his head, so I almost laughed. She looks really pissed off right now. She would never refuse food; she will take whatever I offer.

"He apologized." She said, she suddenly turned to me so the bread that I was planning to eat fell off. "What do you think so? What should I do?"

I sighed, I picked up the bread that dropped, and directly discard it to the nearby trash bin, before I looked at her, she was just looking while waiting for me to answer her very nice question, note the sarcasm.

"Break up with him." I said directly, which surprised her. What does she expect? I will defend that asshole? No freaking way!

"But, he's sorry, isn't everyone commit mistakes? Even you, right? Besides, he's the one I see that I can be with in the near future." She always says that, ugh!

I nodded, not because of what she said, but she did not really get the point I wanted her to realize, so I had to explain it properly first. More precise. People really tend to think in that way, especially when the person involved in the situation is important to them.

"Come to think of it, you're just in this kind of relationship, yet he was already fooling you, what if you get married? I bet you will even be more miserable."

"But he said he loves me." She was still convincing herself, myghad!

"The saleswoman at the market said that the apple she was selling was fresh, when I came home, I was very happy because I thought I bought a good variety of fruit, but when I opened it, only to find out that the person I talked to had cheated on me, she lied to me, did I gain something? No.." It is tiring to explain. Psh. If it breaks, it breaks.

"Thank you, but I will believe in him first." He said and sat down properly.

I shrug. "Okay." I'm used to people not believing to my advices, which is really realistic, and I understand that it's hard to accept things that you know in yourself is true.

Two weeks had passed, we just finished our midterm week yesterday, quite easy, but we did a lot so we didn't sleep much. So, I immediately went to the library and got two thick books, I walked to the very end of the hall and sat down in front. I will go to sleep first; my class will be at three o'clock this afternoon. Kim is also busy because we separated the group.

I was about to be dragged by drowsiness when I heard the notification tone of my phone, so I immediately dug into my bag to find out who was that rude to bother me.

"Ava! Shall we have lunch together? My treat!"

I frowned because of her text. Is there an event? Why would she treat me lunch?

So, I replied a simple-Why?

'I have some juicy news with you! Yee! Imma egzoiteeed! "

I just shook my head and laughed. She was obviously excited, she just texted. So, I could not sleep, I got up and returned the books I would have used props, I texted her and told her I was going to the park. I also waited a few minutes before she arrived.

"Ava!" She shouted, so some students that's been eating their lunch looked at her. This woman is really embarrassing.

"Calm down, why? What are you going to say?" I asked, but she just anchored her hand on my arm and I pulled. "Hey! Where are we going?"

"I'll treat you right? I'll tell you a story!" She said, so I just obeyed.

She took me to a restaurant near the school, it was good to have aircon, because it was hot outside. I brushed myself, pulled my hair, to relieve the heat.

"What do you want?" She asked, but I did not look at the menu.

"I'll have a heavy meal, I want to fill my stomach, besides it's your treat." I said, so she laughed, the waiter who was waiting for our order also laughed, so I looked at him badly. Why, is it right to laugh at me? Does he know me? Why is he laughing? Feeling close? When the waiter left, she immediately took her phone. I thought she was going to tell a story?

"Ava! See this!" She said and brought his phone closer to me. I saw the picture of a man.

"Oh? What am I going to do there?" I really don't know. I don't remember having an assignment like that. "How long have you been in love with that? Did I think you didn't like Hollywood? But he's not American."

"Fucker. I'm not in love with him, I'm just crushing on him. But look at this one." he said and showed me an email

That invitation is for her to be a full-time model, all I know is that she has been wanting to model for a long time

"Do you think I should accept this? The problem is, aren't we still studying? I also don't know if Dad will agree to this. He wants me to finish school first." She said, I understand her. Of course, you have to finish school.

"You can do that as a part-time, I mean if that company really wants you, then they should respect your decision, and they have to wait for you to finish your studies." She nod in response, I almost laughed when I saw her in deep thoughts. Damn it, it's s funny seeing her like this.

"By the way, where is Aldrin?" Her scumbag boyfriend.

"We broke up, I mean, I broke up with him last week. I got bored with him." She said, but who is she fooling? I know she is still hurting until now. "Then I met Casper last Monday. I had so much fun talking to him!" I rolled my eyes upon hearing that. This woman.

I frowned at the unfamiliar name she mentioned. "Who's Casper?"

"Here it is! The one I showed you today! Look, here are our conversations! Read it, quickly!" She handed me her phone and forced me to read it.

Heck, there is still a heart emoticon, a to is really crazy. I haven't known that yet. I just read their conversation wet, because I'm not really interested so why should I read? I returned her phone to her while she was smiling widely.

"What? Isn't he sweet?" She was waiting for my response.

I shook my head. "Stop that M.U." I said flat and drank the water next to me, I can't go with juice since I'm acidic

"What?! Why would I do that?"

"Can't you see? He's a total playboy. As much as your boyfriend, you should know that."

She hit me hard, so I almost screamed, it hurts! What the heck?!!

"She's different Ava, I really feel like she is."

I pulled aside my hair which had come down to my face. "You never learn or listen, don't come near me crying when he hurts you." I spoke. That kind of person is annoying, you will tell them what to do, but they don't listen.

"Yow, Olivia!" I heard a man's voice from nowhere just spoke, "Allan have been looking for you around the campus."

I heard Olly laughed, "I'm with my friend, oh shoot! I haven't introduced you to Ava," I felt Olly's hands on my shoulder, "Hey, Ava, this is my best friend, Noah, dude, this is Ava, my new found bff!"

"Hey, nice meeting you." He said and offered his hand, which I accept.

"Nice to me-fucker." That slipped out of my tongue when I recognized him, this guy! "He's your friend?" I turned to Olly who looked very puzzled with my action.

I looked sharply at the man because I could not forget what he did last week. this bug used me to drive away the woman who was harassing him, this fucker.

Instead, He just smiled. "Nice to meet you, Ava!"

I rolled my eyes and slapped his hand, "Fuck off."
