Chapter 5 Episode 4

Days have passed since Autumn and Rose's lunch date and she couldn't stop thinking about what Rose had said about finding her Mr.Right. Autumn has always fantasized about true love and finding that special someone but never has she once believed that she would have true love or find that special someone. With her insecurities and condition, she always believed that a girl like her would never find someone willing to love, care for, and accept her for who she is.

Rose was Autumn's best friend and her sister rolled up in one, and she wants nothing more than to see her best friend happy. Knowing Autumn's past and how much she has suffered, made Rose want to protect Autumn from anything that could cause her pain, both physically and mentally. But Rose believes that somewhere out there was someone, who would accept Autumn for who she is, love her unconditionally, and care and protect her no matter what.

Rose was currently at home alone as her boyfriend was at work. She laid bored in her bedroom chatting with Autumn on the phone, who had just come from work, "I'm starting to get really impatient now, Autumn," she complained as Autumn chuckled, "Relax, Rosey, I'm sure they'll get back to you," she said in a soothing tone as Rose sadly sighed, "But what if they don't accept me?" She asked as Autumn sighed, "Don't worry, Rose, I bet they will hire you, and if they don't then it's their loss," she said as Rose chuckled with a big smile on her face.

"Thanks, Autumn, you know exactly what to say to make me feel better," she said as Autumn giggled, "Anytime, Rosey, you know I'll always be there to lend a shoulder," she said as Rose smiled until her cheeks began to ache before continuing with a random conversation, but not without teasing Autumn about a certain female that had a major crush on her, which Autumn continued to deny.

As their conversation went on, a sudden 'Bing' was heard coming from Rose's laptop as she furrows. She placed Autumn on a loudspeaker, placing the phone down on the bed before reaching for her laptop on their nightstand.

Opening her emails, her eyes suddenly enlarged as she got an email from the company owner. Anxiety immediately ran through her veins as her hands began to shake, "Rosey, are you still there?" Autumn asked as Rose shifted her eyes to her phone before sighing deeply, "I got an email, Autumn," she said as there was a silence.

"Then what's the problem?" Autumn asked as Rose sighed again, "It's from the company and there are only one of two things that this email can confirm," she said as her voice came out shaky due to her nervousness.

Autumn sighed from the other side of the phone as Rose waited for her opinion, "Rose, there's no need to be worried, alright, like I said before, I bet that email will confirm that they hire you but if it doesn't, then it's their loss," she said as Rose bite her bottom lip while slightly nodding, "Well, we wouldn't know unless I open this email," she said as Autumn immediately replied, "And I'll be right here supporting you, Rosey," she said as Rose smiled before clicking on the email as opened.

Her eyes quickly flickered side to side as she read the email and at the very end, her eyes enlargened with tears visible, "Rose, are you still there, what did the email say?" Autumn asked as she sounded anxious herself, "I-It says that, I-I GOT THE JOB!" She exclaimed followed by a joyful laugh as Autumn gasped at the news, "Omg, Rosey, congratulations, see what I told you," she said as Rose giggled while wiping her semi tears.

"Thanks, Autumn, I don't know what I would do without your support and love, you're like the sister I never had," she said as Autumn dramatically gasp, "What do you mean the sister you never had, we are sisters," she said before they both broke out in a fit of laughter.

After their conversation over the phone, Autumn eventually hangs up giving Rose a chance to get some sleep for her first official day at work tomorrow. She was so proud and happy for her best friend and want nothing more than to see her happy.

Rose was all that Autumn had left, she was the only person that Autumn consider as a family and she has no idea what she would do without Rose by her side.

Autumn's room was pitch black as she laid peacefully on her bed. Her window was open as the cold night breeze blew into the room causing a satisfying sigh to escape from her lips as she closed her eyes while slightly arching her back in pleasure as the cold breeze touched her bare leg.

As the wind continued to caress her body, suddenly the voice of the mysterious car driver entered her mind causing her to gasp. The wind seemed to get stronger causing her nightgown to blew up as her hands clenched the sheets underneath her.

She had no idea what was happening to her. This was all so new and strange to her, these feelings, the rapid beating of her heart, and the aching and tingling feeling in between her legs was all so foreign to her, and yet she enjoys it, it excites her.

She longed to know the person who's causing her mind, heart, and body to react this way. But then her insecurities take over and it reminds her of the life that she was living. The sad, lonely, and hopeless dark life. A life, she will never get to escape from.

The breeze had died down and so did Autumn's body as it slowly sunk back down onto the bed. She slowly turned to her side as a single tear trickled down her cheek.

Will she ever escape this dark, lonely life? How will Rose's official first day at work will be like? And who is this Mysterious car owner that drivers Autumn in a different direction than she has never been in before?
