David POV cont.

"Appa " I said and rush to hug dad

"Welcome back Davis heir" he said and hug me back

"Hope everything is going as planned Son" he asked releasing me from the hug

"yes Dad, just watch as i destroy JoNES empire " I said with a deadly smile

"just be careful kid " he replied

"Don't worry Dad, just play your role while I play mine "

Sophia POV

I packed my hair in a ponytail and stare at the mirror

"you feeling yourself? Grace said and laugh out

"shut up and face your business you ugly slut " I said and hiss before walking out

"Where to? JoNES or should I said Xander asked

"Somewhere hubby " I replied and get into my car and drove off

"welcome to caffeine" An attendant said immediately I walk into caffeine

I sat on a wooden fashioned chair and wait for him patiently. The door open revealing him

He wore a T-shirt neck and a fitted Jean trouser. He looks damn cute but wait! is he cute than Xander? Definitely Nope

"Sorry am a bit late " he said sitting beside me

"Oops sorry for coming earlier " I replied with a smile

"I have to go for an important meeting that's why" I added

"I understand but don't worry I won't waste your time, just some coffee and a little discussion, I promise" he said while I replied with a smile

"Thanks for today " I concluded picking up my bag

"it my pleasure" he replied with a smile

I really enjoy his company, So friendly and nice. But their is something about about him am still yet to understand

"Can you make it tomorrow? he asked

"Don't say no please " he pleaded before I could answer him

"I don't think so " I replied genuinely

"what about having some fun tomorrow? he asked

"Sorry, am not in for that"

"pleaseee, I swear you will love it" he pleaded again

"okay, fine fine, i will adjust my schedule "

"Thanks, but will you mind if I picked you up? he asked

"No problem" I replied and brought out my jotter, I wrote my address and pass it to him

"Bye " I concluded and walk out

I got to my car and drive straight to the police Department.

I went to the police commissioner office, he was starring through the window

"Sir! I said and halt.

" inspector Sophia right? he asked and turn to face me

"Yes sir" I replied in a steadily manner. He is a man of around 60's.

"you can sit" he said gesturing me to sit down. while he also proceed to sit

"But what are you doing on JoNES case" he yelled and I merely become a statue on my seat

"Sir...am really trying my best just that....

"just that what? " he yelled again

"you want me to get killed just like the former commission right? please we have to be fast about everything" he added but this time calmly

"I will try my best sir "

"what have you been doing so far " he asked calmly

" I mean with the late commissioner and your personal investigation" he added

I bought out the file and pass it forward to him which he picked up eagerly

"just summarize it " he told me

"And that's how everything goes" I concluded the summarizing, and by that time he already finish photocopying the file

He let out a heavy sigh and lock his eye with mine

"Bravo " he finally said and Applause

"Brave inspector, and what if he suspect and shoot you " he asked

"He can't" I replied bravely

"why? because he is madly in love with you right? he said

"No " I replied back

"Then why? he asked again

"That's because we are all into a game, he is actually playing him " I later reveal to him

"How? I don't get you " he told me

I explain to him and told him the plan truth even including my wedding night

"Ohhh shit! he cursed

"Well, since he didn't know you are the inspector for his case then our game is still on him " he added

"Yes sir and that's why am still investigating"

"That's nice but we really have to be smarter because I can't afford my children to lose me " he told me plainly

"God forbid bad thing Sir "

"Well.... he said and stood up and walk straight to me sitting on the desk next to me

"You have to be on his side, I mean you have to dance to his tune " he told me but I don't seems to understand

"I don't get you Sir "

"You have to gain one thing and to be able to gain that thing, you have to do two things" he told me

"Tell me those things sir"

"You have to gain his trust, because he didn't trust you at all and if he didn't you can't get the evidence to arrest him" He told me

"But how do I gain his trust Sir " I asked..

"First of all, you really have to act as if you are in his side " he told me

" meaning?

"oh shit, are you really an inspector? you have to always think well and big"

"Am sorry Sir " I apologise

"Just act as if you support all his crimes, you have to act as real JoNES's Queen, hope you understand " he asked

"Definitely Sir "

"Good, Act well, I mean act very well, but I really trust you, I already went through your file and document and it really encouraging it else I would have disqualified you" he told me plainly

"And the second one Sir? I asked

"You need to lure him to have sex with you " he told me and I merely collapse

"Sir?

"You are a lady Sophia, be smart.... He can't have full trust in you if he didn't get into you as his wife, just try to do something about that " he told me

"But sir.....

"I don't care, just act accordingly to the plan, just do something, you might not sleep with him but just use a trick on him " he said and stood up going back to his seat.

"See you later Sophia " he said and hand a photograph to me

"Do something about him, he is really a disturbance to those poor" he said pointing to the man in the photograph.

I got into my car and went back home. I got to our room, Xander was nowhere to be found. I took a quick bath and headed to the closet, I pick a long free gown for myself and headed to the other living room. And that's JoNES. I sat like a monk right beside him on the couch. He signal to his guest and guards while they all left immediately except his personal guard who went a little distance near the door to stand. I brought out the photograph Sir gave me and pass it to him

"Eliminate him " i said in a deadly face

"what? he exclaim and got choke on his drink

"I vow to kill him when I got to know he killed my father because of money when I was young but as an inspector I have to account for every bullet I shoot " I told him the real truth

i brought out a cigarette and light it with his lighter

"just do it, I mean as Soon as possible" I said with a deadly face and puff the smoke into the thin air

"This gonna be interesting" I thought and smile at my performance
