Chapter 5 CHAPTER 4 Seven days - First day

Jace P.O.V.

I am sad that Angela is leaving in a week, but I plan to surprise her with something that is very important and valuable to me and that is my "time". That is something unique that I can give her, she already has everything, she's MARY ANGELA WHITES, of course she has everything.

I plan to be with her for every second left of her stay here in New York. So I decided to take a 1 week leave off my work just for her. And now, I'm here outside of her door 9:00 in the morning and is going to press the door bell. I took a deep breath before pressing the button. Then I heard Aesha say " Wait a minute, coming" then she opened the door and I am sure she was shocked to see me.

" Ja- Jace? Is that really you?! What are you doing here?" " Good morning Aesha. Can you please let me in first, before I answer your questions." " Ohh of course, come in" and she opened the door wider and stepped to the side. I went in straight to the couch, I was already used coming to Gela's house (sometimes our meeting place is here) " Thank you Aesha. So to answer your question, Yes it's really me - Jace and I am here because I have a plan. " " And what is that plan of yours" " I plan to spend the 168 hours with Gela" " Ohhh, 168÷24, OMG so you are going to be spending time with her for a WEEK!!??" " Shhhhhh, she might hear you lower your voice, I want to be the one to tell her my surprise" " Ohhhh, I am so sorry" she said making the sign of peace ( showing her index and middle finger).

" Hey Honey, who's there, why are you taking so long?" " Ohh honey, come down here, someone is here for you. " " Wait a second, I'm coming" Damn, her voice is music to my ears. I love her voice, it sounds so angelic. Then I saw her coming down the stairs in her night wear- short pink silk shorts and sleeveless pink silk shirt. Her white and smooth legs and arms are clearly visible. She always looks like an angel, even just woken up.

"Hey Lynd, what are doing here, so early?" She asked as she walked towards me and hugged me, which I glady returned. After the hug, she sat beside me on the couch. " Gela! I have a surprise for you!" " Oooooooh, really? What is it?" She asked, her eyes sparkling. Ohh her eyes, they are so beautiful. " It's a surprise!!" " Hmmpp!" " C'mon don't be like that, go and get ready! We are going somewhere!" "Fine!" Then she walked up the stairs and got ready.

She came back after an hour. What are girls doing for an HOUR!?? Why do they always take so long to get ready? Sometimes I just don't understand women...Then she came back wearing denim shorts and a black crop top, put her hair in a bun, and she wore her flat sandals. She looks so angelic. Okay fine the 1 hour wait was very worth it. Even if I have to wait for a century for Gela, I would be up for it.

"You ready?" "Yup, now I'm all ready!!" Excitement can really be found in her voice. " Okay then, let's go" I took her hand and brought her to my car, parked outside her house. I opened the passenger seats's door for her and got to the driver's seat . I started the engine and drove off to our destination.

I stopped the car in the side, when we were close to the destination and asked her to wear a blindfold. "Nuh uh, I am not going to wear that blindfold!" " Then if you don't wear this you won't know the surprise" " Okay fine, give me that" then she put on the blindfold. " Good girl" and I chuckled. " Where are we exactly going Lynd?" " It's a surprise Gela, be patient" " Okay, if you say so"

"We're here!!! " "Finally, can I take the blindfold off now?" " Not yet, just be patient " " Okay, then Lynd can you please help me go there, I can't see a thing" " Of course " I helped her out of the car and guided her to the field full of flowers ( we are in the province). " Okay now, you can take the blindfold off" she took the blindfold off and I was sure she was amazed. " Woowww, this place is amazing. So many flowers, they are so beautiful. Is this the surprise you were talking about? And also where is this place exactly?" She asked me, not even looking at me , I guess she was very fascinated by the flowers. There were so many different kinds of flowers in the field.

" It's part of the surprise and we're in the province" " So are you saying that there's more surprises?" She asked as she turned to look at me her eyes sparkling with joy and excitement. " Yup, my main gift for you is my time" " Awwww, thank you so much Lynd, Your the best, your are really the GOAT (Greatest of all time)" then she hugged me so tight. " Hey easy your gonna kill me!" " Ohhh I am so sorry Lynd, I was just so overwhelmed." " It's fine, go check the flowers out." " I'm already on it" And I saw her running towards the flower field happily. I feel so contented right now...

"Hey Gela, help me set the picnic up" " Ohh sure, where are we gonna set this up? " " Over there under the tree for shade"" Ohhh, that's a nice spot , let's gooo Lynd". Then we setted up the picnic table and ate our food while talking. " Gela, this is just the beginning" " REALLY??!" " Yup, I took an 1 week leave and now we are going to spend every second left of your stay here in New York. " " So you really meant what you said at the restaurant?" " Of course" " This is the best gift I received ever, even my parents didn't give me 24 hours to spend time with them." " Hey don't be sad, you know that I don't like seeing you sad Gela" " Thank you Lynd, YOUR THE BEST" and she hugged me again. I can never get tired of her hugs. We went home at 8:00 p.m. We had a great time together. Now there are 6 more days left . 144 hours left or 1440 minutes left or 86400 seconds left.
