Chapter 4 CHAPTER 3 Closer

Angela P.O.V.

Jace and I are are getting closer. We have met several times already and every time we meet, we would talk like there is no tomorrow. It's already been 3 weeks since we first met in the cafe.

And now, I am here today with Aesha in my room. Aesha is dressing me up, because Jace and I are going to meet up in the restaurant for dinner. Aesha is always the one who helped me dressed up when going to events, occasions and now, even when Jace and I meet. She was always my rock and my comforter. She has been my Best friend from high school, but even my parents doesn't know her, because I don't think they will let her be my friend. Aesha is not as rich as us, so there is a high chance that they won't agree with her being my BFF and I don't want to risk our friendship by telling my parents about her and I'm very thankful that she understands.

" OH MY GOSH, HONEY YOU LOOK GORGEOUS. I'M SURE THAT JACE WON'T BE ABLE TO TAKE HIS EYES OFF YOU!!! " She exclaimed. " You do know that we are just friends, right?! And wow, you're getting better in flattering me" I joked with her. " IT'S NO JOKE BABE, YOU LOOK A-M-A-Z-I-N-G AMAZING!!! And also there is a gigantic chance that the both of you will fall for each other" she said winking at me " I'm not so sure about that but thank you babe, for everything, I'm sure that I can't live a day without you" " Oh babe, don't say that, your really gonna make me cry. AND of course you can't cry NOW, your make up will be ruined". " Okay okay".

I was wearing an blue off shoulder dress that ends above my knees, my hair was curled at the ends, and I just wore light make up. I wore my 3 inches heels to add to my height. Honestly, I am not that short but also not that tall. I think my height is just average.

Then we heard a knock on the door. " Oh let me get it" Aesha said giggling. " Fine". We were staying in my family's Villa in New York. My parents are back home in London, I was sent here for that meeting ( the meeting 3 weeks ago) but I decided to take a vacation and luckily my parents agreed.

Aesha came back to my room and told me to come down already. " Yeah, I coming down wait a minute, I am just putting my bracelet on. " Hurry up girl" " yeah, yeah I know. You go down first, just a minute, promise"." Fine, but make sure to hurry up" " yeah I know. " Then she walked out of my room. I added some finishing touches and checked my self on the mirror for the last time and went out of my room.

Then I slowly walked down the stairs and saw Jace holding a bouquet of white roses ( which are my favorites, I think I told it to him on our meetings, but I didn't expect he would remember).

He was wearing an blue suit that matches mine ( I guess Aesha texted him about the color of my dress like she always does), his hair was perfectly styled and he was wearing leather shoes. He looks so handsome!! My mind and heart says.

He handed me the bouquet and hugged me. " Gela, I missed you". " I missed you too Lynd" It is already like our rule to hug each other every time we meet and every time we part. " Oh the both of you just go" Aesha jokingly said to us. " Bye babe and thanks for everything" I hugged her and went with Jace inside his car.

He offered me his hand, which I gladly accepted and opened the door of his car for me. " Thanks Lynd" " Your always welcome Gela". Then we drove off to the restaurant. He opened the door for me and offered his hand. We hold hands together while talking and walking to the restaurant. We always talk about our lives, the things happening around us and just anything that comes to our minds.

He booked a private room for us. When we entered, he pulled out a chair for me and seated me first, before himself. "So, I guess I will be going back to London in a week Lynd." I said with a sad smile. " Yeah, but we can still contact each other" he said. " Yeah and I am gonna miss you Lynd" " Of course, I am also gonna miss you too Gela. So let's spend this week together and treasure every moment." " I agree with you" I said smiling widely. He can always make me happy everytime I"m sad.

" Let's order now Gela, what do you want?" He asked. " I think I'm gonna get pasta annnndddd---what's the ingredients of this soup?" I asked pointing to a certain soup in the menu. " Nope you can't have that, it has shrimp and your allergic to shrimp" " Ohhh, so what soup can I order?" " I think you should just order chicken soup, I know your gonna love it" " okay then I'm getting pasta and chicken soup"

I was so happy, when he remembered that I am allergic to shrimp ( I told it to him on our second meeting, but he still remembered it) I am so happy. "So what are you going to order? I asked him. " Just chicken soup"

"Waiter" he called out. Then the waiter came up to our table " Good day ma'am, sir. And what would you like for today?" " Uhmmm we are getting 1pasta and 2 chicken soups, thank you" he ordered and the waiter took our orders and left.

"So, how's business Lynd?" I started " It's doing great" " Nice to know" " Will Aesha be staying here in New York or will also going back to London?" " Ohhh she's staying, she says she wants to extend her vacation. I also expected that she would stay" " So you don't plan to extend also?" He asked and I sensed a little disappointment in his voice. " Ohhh Lynd, you know that Mary Angela White is the only heiress to the Shinning Star Company don't you. I have to go home."

" I understand, but you should promise to call me every day. Understood?" He said in a joking tone. " SIR YES SIR" and I saluted to him smiling. Then he saluted back. After we both burst out laughing at our joke. We had a nice evening. Then he dropped me off at the villa and he also went home. I really enjoy his company.
