Chapter 3 No One Dares To Defy Me

"Oh?" Nehemiah smiled at Cara. "So that's what you were planning?"

Grabbing Cara with a sinister smile, Nehemiah made a sudden, violent thrust into her. She felt unbearable pain surge through her. Her eyes watered at the contact. Not long after he leaned over her ear and whispered coldly, "You want to report me, don't you? Sue me? I dare you to try. I'd be so curious to see who would take your side during your court case." Tears continued to well up in her eyes as Nehemiah continued his movements, "In fact, I'd also like to see which websites would be willing to put up your story."

At this very moment, he was worse than the devil himself. She refused to believe a man like him could be any less than a demon.

The man was powerful. He came from a very prominent background. No matter how evil he was, he could get away scot free by moving money in the right direction. As she thought of this, all the fight left Cara's body. Her legs grew weak and her body numb as Nehemiah forced himself onto her.

The events that occurred this night would be the source of her nightmares for years to come.

Eventually Nehemiah fell asleep after getting his fill. While he was sleeping, Cara gritted her teeth through the pain coursing through her body, and struggled out of bed after he finished using her body.

He may have had a great time. But for Cara, it was a horrifying memory beyond her wildest imagination.

How she wished it was just a bad dream. All she was supposed to do was interview a star! There was no way anyone could have predicted this to happen. Cara involuntarily shivered at the memory of what happened.

"It doesn't matter what you want, or what you feel about the matter. I love the way your skin feels against my own. From now on you belong to me."

His devilish voice echoed in her ears. It shook her to her core.

"No! Please stop it! I don't want this! Stop!"

"No one can say no in front of me!" Nehemiah responded emphatically. The memories of what happened just moments prior replayed in her mind over and over.

Cara picked up her scattered articles of clothing on the floor and put on her clothes. She tiptoed towards the door and quietly slipped out of the room. As the door to the room closed, she quickly sprinted towards the elevator and began pressing the button multiple times. The elevator doors opened with a ding. She scurried inside. As she hit the button to the ground floor, she recalled the words Nehemiah said to her earlier that day.

There was no way she'd believe what he said.

Cara knew that there had to be someone out there who would take her side. He would be met with justice. If she pressed the case then she should find some people who would believe in her story.

But it was her word against Nehemiah's. His words replayed in her head. No one would dare go against him. He held too much influence over other people. But she made up her mind. With a quiet resolve, she came to a decision. She'd at least have to try.

The next day rolled around as the sun filtered in through the window and landed on the sleeping form of Nehemiah.

He opened his eyes and squinted at the beam of light that had awoken him from his slumber.

Taking a look around the room he realized that the woman he had his way with the night prior had left without his knowing. "She left!" he exclaimed.

His knuckles turned white as he gripped the sheets where she lay the night prior, his teeth gritting. 'I won't let her just get away like that. I'll never let my prey get away.' he thought.

He slowly rose from the bed and went to dress himself for the day. He left his room with an air of confidence and grace. Quite the opposite of how he presented himself the night prior.

"Ah, Mr. Nehemiah! I'm terribly sorry for what happened the night prior. I gave the spare key to your room to a woman named Cara Mu yesterday. I apologize, it was my mistake! It won't happen again." The receptionist bowed apologetically.

Nehemiah didn't pay attention to the rest of what the receptionist was saying.

'As it turns out, she wasn't here to sleep her way to the top after all. Nor was she sent by someone else to frame me.' He walk to his car and opened the door. It was all just a coincidence she was there at that moment.

After learning the truth, Nehemiah walked with a slight pep in his step. A slight smile crept onto his face. She mesmerized him with her beauty and temperament. Despite only making love once, she had him entranced. Her soft skin. The pleasure he felt from her body. It must have been fate. Perhaps she was heaven-sent. God had delivered his soul-mate right into his arms.

He took out his phone and dialed a number. "George, wait for me in my villa."

"Yes, sir. Right away."

Two hours later.

In a detached garden villa located in Moonlight Bay.

Sat in the center of a resplendent room was a man elegantly smoking a cigar held in between two slender fingers. He seemed almost enveloped in an aura of cold nobility. A knock was heard from the door across the room. Not long after a middle-aged man dressed in a black suit entered the room.

"Boss."

The middle-aged man walked over and bowed respectfully.

"Go and fetch me the surveillance footage from outside the top presidential suite yesterday and find the woman who entered it. I need to know her identity. Send someone to keep an eye on her."

Nehemiah brought the cigar to his lips. His stormy eyes clouded in darkness. He spoke with a deep, sinister look on his face. One could almost mistake him for the devil himself.

"Yes, boss,"

the middle-aged man replied as he retreated from the opulent room. An evil, yet devilishly attractive smile broke out on Nehemiah's face. "That woman was the most delicious meal I've had yet. I must have her again."

Curiosity and interest danced along his bottomless gaze. The softness of her lips... the sweetness of her body's fragrance... the way she gazed at him with her tear-filled eyes. He sat up a little straighter as his body gave the most honest reaction.

At the Fortune Press Agency...

A woman in a black shirt walked into the general manager's office wearing black-rimmed glasses across her nose. She looked exhausted. It appeared as if she did not have the time, nor the energy to look her best.

In her hands, she held the report that she had written overnight. She strode into the office and said, "Sir, you need "Boss, please read this news." read this."
