Chapter 10 I Won't Believe A Word

Celia's back was thrown against the wall. Regardless of the pain on her back, the black shadow in front of her suddenly pressed down and her chin was pinched hard by a hand.

She was forced to look at the man in front of her.

"How long do you think you can hide it from me? Either you take the child to have a DNA test, or I take him away tomorrow."

Richard approached her and stared at her coldly as if he was about to burst into anger.

This woman had been stopping him from doing anything, so he had to suspect more that the child was left by him four years ago!

"No way!" Celia looked at him, unwilling to admit defeat. She tried her best to hold back the tears in her eyes. She gave birth to her child, Marvin after ten months' pregnancy. How could he be taken away like this?

Hearing this, Celia obviously felt that the hand on her chin increased the strength, and she frowned in pain.

After the two of them confronted each other for a while, Richard suddenly lowered his head and kissed her directly. At that time, Celia was petrified and even forgot what to do next.

He was the king of J City. No matter how powerful she was, she couldn't defeat him here. She'd better not ask for trouble.

Then Celia turned around and left. Although he didn't catch up with her, it didn't mean that he would let her go. So she had to find a way to make him believe that Marvin had nothing to do with him.

She opened the door and closed it. Leaning against the door, she closed her eyes in despair.

Why did she meet him after she came back? Why did the person who hadn't appeared for four years appear after she came back?

If Marvin was really his son, then she would lose Marvin forever.

Celia put down the spatula in her hand and squatted down.

She rubbed Marvin's hair and kissed him on the forehead. Looking at his sleepy eyes, she asked, "Why do you get up so early? Did mommy wake you up?"

Marvin shook his head and rubbed his eyes. One of his long eyelashes was rubbed off and stuck to his face. "No, I can't fall asleep. Mommy, why do you get up so early?"

Celia raised her hand to remove the eyelashes and rubbed his chubby face. "It's still early. Can you go back to your room and have a rest? I'll call you later."

After saying that, Celia's face was held by Marvin again.

"Mommy, you are too tired." Marvin said seriously, "Don't worry, mommy. Marvin will never leave you. No matter what happens, I will choose you."

In the past four years, it was his mommy who had been taking care of him. It was his mommy who had given him everything.

Hearing these words, Celia felt warm in her heart. It was worthwhile for her to have such a sensible child.

"Okay, I know. My Marvin is the best!"

"Mommy, don't worry about me. Can we be like before?" They were so happy before. He didn't want her to worry about these things and couldn't fall asleep.

"Okay." Celia nodded her head heavily with a relieved smile on her face. Marvin was the pride of her life.

After the two of them had breakfast, Celia drove Marvin to the kindergarten. After what happened yesterday, she changed a route to avoid Richard, so she tried to make a detour.

She didn't go to work until she sent Marvin to the kindergarten.

After checking the rooms, Celia returned to her office, followed by a knock on the door.

"Come in, please."

It was Greg who came in.

"Greg, what's up?"

"Celia, do you have something on your mind recently?" Greg walked to her desk and found that she looked worse than yesterday. He wondered why.

"No, I'm fine." Celia smiled helplessly.
