Chapter 7 Feeling Sad

During the dinner, the Qi family found an excuse and left. There were only five members of the Tang family and Josiah dining at the table.

With her head down, Olivia focused on eating. The excessive hospitality from her family made her feel embarrassed even in front of him. Even a fool could see what her families were thinking! Olivia glanced at Josiah and found that he was also focused on eating and turned a blind eye to their "hospitality".

He was really well-educated even when he was eating! He didn't say much, but quietly ate the food in his bowl. He ate slowly. Last time, he didn't eat in a hurry, either. The people who had dinner with him would involuntarily relax and enjoy the food in front of them.

"Well... Mr. Josiah, when did you know Olivia? " Grace couldn't help but ask the question that had been pressing on her until now.

" Grace chuckled, with a tolerant and loving look on her face, but she didn't miss any details on their faces. It seemed that she was eager to find something.

"Don't worry. I won't have anything to do with him! Don't think too much! " Regardless of her mother's feelings, Olivia decisively dispelled the expectation in her mother's heart. As expected, all the family members rolled their eyes at Olivia. Grace even pinched Olivia thigh heavily under the table. It hurt so much that Olivia bit her lips tightly but she didn't make any sound. It had happened not only once. There were still bruises on her thighs which was caused by the last blind date.

"Mr. Josiah, please don't mind. She is not like this at ordinary times." Daniel apologized to Josiah for his daughter's "slip of the tongue", hoping to redeem something. "Damn it! I'll teach her a lesson later!" Daniel thought.

"You don't have to apologize. Let's eat." He had nothing to do with her. He just came to eat the food she cooked, not to talk other things with her. They must have thought too much. However, everyone knew that they had a strong intention! It seemed that he had made a mistake to have dinner with them tonight!

"Aren't you angry?" Looking at Josiah carefully, Daniel asked in disbelief. Weren't they two dating? Why didn't Josiah respond at all when Olivia said that? If one of the lovers said so, the other should feel angry! Why did Josiah not feel unhappy about what Olivia said at all? If they were not dating, how could he come back for dinner with Olivia?

"Why should I be angry?" Josiah put down his bowl and chopsticks, rested his chin on his hand, and looked at Daniel with a faint smile.

"But aren't you two..." Before Daniel could say something more, Grace cast a glance at him and stopped him.

"What?" Josiah raised his eyebrows, indicating Daniel to go on. After Josiah was full, he was in a good mood. For the family's malicious motive, he suddenly wanted to play with them.

"You..." Looking at his wife, then at Olivia and Josiah, for a moment, Daniel didn't know what to say. He stammered and could only blush at Josiah.

"Are we dating?" Nangong said with an evil smile. From the corner of his eyes, he could see that Yvonne almost spat out the food in her mouth because of his words. The smile at the corners of his mouth deepened. Josiah handed Olivia a piece of tissue and said, "Eat slowly. No one is competing with you." Then he gave her a meaningful smile.

"You..." Olivia glared at him. Did he do it on purpose? Didn't he know that her family was coveting him now? Her family were waiting to find out that they showed a something. He did this to give her family a chance to control her!

"What's wrong? Is there anything wrong with me? " Josiah smiled gently at her and reached to wipe the soup stains on her lips. This action was impeccable, as if they often did this.

"Mr. Josiah..." Looking at his face, Olivia was stunned for a moment and almost lost in his tenderness. When she met his eyes, she suddenly woke up and shook off his hand. "Do you know what you are doing?" His gentleness did not reach the bottom of his eyes. He did it on purpose!

"Olivia!" Grace warned Olivia in a low voice, and didn't forget to "remind" Olivia with her hands under the table. Did Olivia do it on purpose? Did she want to destroy this hard won opportunity? Didn't she know that it was the dream of many people to know Josiah and have dinner with him?

"Auntie, don't talk to her like that." Josiah glanced at Grace and said in a lukewarm tone. But he succeeded making Grace silent. Grace immediately lowered her head without saying anything. No wonder Olivia didn't want to go home. Were her family about letting her marry rich men? It seemed that the Qi family didn't just come to visit her, did they? But... Blind date? Ha ha, it seemed that he saved her by accident tonight!

"Mr. Josiah, you..."

"Sister, why do you call him Mr. Josiah?" Felton Tang looked at Olivia with a pair of big eyes, puzzled.

"I'm not familiar with him. What do I call him if I don't call him Mr. Josiah?" With a snort, Olivia glared at Josiah and said through gritted teeth. Olivia bit her lips and endured the pain from her thigh again. Tears were welling up in her eyes. It was all his fault! "Miss Olivia, aren't you leaving?" Josiah looked at Olivia and signaled her to leave! Her family was going to force her!

"Well, Mr. Josiah, you should come to our house more often in the future!" Since Grace couldn't persuade Josiah to stay, she had to leave a good impression on him in the end. If she could see him again in the future, she wouldn't make him hate her.

"Okay." Josiah nodded and walked to the porch to change his shoes.

"Olivia, I warn you, if you don't catch him, I will teach you a good lesson!" When Josiah was far away, Grace grabbed Olivia's arm and threatened her fiercely.

"He won't like me." Looking at Grace calmly, Olivia was used to the burning pain on her arm. She just looked down at the red and swollen part and smiled bitterly.

"Then you have to find a way to make him like you. If you have no choice, you can have sex with him. At that time..."
