Chapter 7 Preparations Before The Meeting

Although Randy was always naughty and unreliable, he was efficient. It was difficult to investigate so many people in such a short time. Randy returned to Patty's office half an hour before the meeting began. Patty walked to the sofa opposite Randy and sat down. She crossed her long and white left leg on her right leg and leaned against the sofa leisurely.

"How is it going?" She took a sip of coffee and didn't look up at Randy, who was sitting opposite her.

"Well, have you finished reading those documents?" Looking at the relaxed expression on Patty's face and the documents piled up on the table, Randy was also surprised.

"I know you are always efficient, but I don't expect you are so fast to read so many documents." Randy teased.

"You need to grasp the skills to do things, so it doesn't mean that I have to read all the things." Patty put the coffee on the tea table and picked up the document that Randy had just thrown on it. "Tell me, how's the investigation going?" She asked casually.

"There are a few people whom you need to pay attention to. I have marked them for you. There are also some minions. You don't need to worry about them. I will handle them for you." Randy put his right hand on his left chest, and his upper body leaned forward about fifteen degrees. He made an English salute to Patty, and then returned to his cynical look, as if what had just happened had never happened.

At three fifty in the afternoon, Patty finished reading all the documents and entered the meeting room with Mamie, Lucy and Randy.
