Chapter 7 Preparations Before The Meeting

Although Randy was always naughty and unreliable, he was efficient. It was difficult to investigate so many people in such a short time. However, based on what they had investigated in the UK and the He Family's connections in the Yan City, it was not a problem to investigate these people in a short time.

Randy returned to Patty's office half an hour before the meeting began. When he came in, Patty, with a cup of newly made coffee in her hand, casually leaned against the desk and read something in her mouth. With a laptop in her hands, Lucy kept typing on the keyboard and repeated what Patty had said seriously.

Randy shook his head helplessly, threw the things on the tea table nearby, casually leaned against the edge of the sofa, and quietly looked at the two women working at the desk. It was said that women were the most beautiful when they worked. But looking at the two people in front of him, he felt that there was a fatal mistake in this saying. Not all women were beautiful at work, because Patty looked like an elegant peacock, while Lucy looked like a cooked shrimp.

About ten minutes later, Randy saw Patty put down the cup of coffee in her hand, turned to Lucy, who was typing, and said, "Check what you just wrote, and then type it out." Lucy nodded helplessly and started to work hard again. Patty ignored Lucy and dialed the internal phone. "Bring me a cup of coffee and Yirgacheffe Coffee with milk." Then she picked up the coffee cup and walked towards Randy.

Patty walked to the sofa opposite Randy and sat down. She crossed her long and white left leg on her right leg and leaned against the sofa leisurely.

"How is it going?" She took a sip of coffee and didn't look up at Randy, who was sitting opposite her.

"Well, have you finished reading those documents?" Looking at the relaxed expression on Patty's face and the documents piled up on the table, Randy was also surprised.

"I know you are always efficient, but I don't expect you are so fast to read so many documents." Randy teased.

"You need to grasp the skills to do things, so it doesn't mean that I have to read all the things." Patty put the coffee on the tea table and picked up the document that Randy had just thrown on it. "Tell me, how's the investigation going?" She asked casually.

"There are a few people whom you need to pay attention to. I have marked them for you. There are also some minions. You don't need to worry about them. I will handle them for you." Randy put his right hand on his left chest, and his upper body leaned forward about fifteen degrees. He made an English salute to Patty, and then returned to his cynical look, as if what had just happened had never happened.

"Okay." Patty slightly narrowed her eyes and flipped through the documents brought back by Randy. In other people's eyes, Patty was as calm as usual. Only Randy knew that Patty was in a good mood.

"Knock, knock, knock..." Randy was about to say something, but was interrupted by several knocks on the door. Mamie entered the office with a cup of coffee and put it on the coffee table in front of Randy. She nodded respectfully and was about to leave the office, but was stopped by Patty.

"Lucy, go out with Mamie and get the documents ready for the meeting. By the way, get familiar with the following work." Patty called over Lucy, who was burying herself in work, and then said to Mamie, "This is my assistant, Lucy Qin. She has been working for me for many years. Please take care of her more in the future."

"Miss. Patty, don't worry." Mamie nodded politely to Lucy.

As soon as Lucy heard the call, she rushed over with the computer in her arms. Hearing that Patty was introducing her to others, Lucy immediately reached out to shake hands with Mamie and politely nodded. Lucy had always been introverted. In order to finish the documents, she had worked hard for a while. Now her face was as red as a ripe apple.

Randy picked up the coffee on the tea table and took a sip. He glanced at Patty, who was reading the documents, and then turned to look at Lucy, saying, "Lucy, do it well."

After Lucy and Mamie went out, Patty stopped talking and looked down at the documents for a long time. Randy shrugged and took a sip of his coffee. It was rare for him to stay with Patty quietly. He knew this woman very well. He knew exactly what Patty needed and what he should do at any time.

At three fifty in the afternoon, Patty finished reading all the documents and entered the meeting room with Mamie, Lucy and Randy. The people in the meeting room were surprised to find that the new CEO was a woman and thought, 'Does the headquarter in England send a woman to be the CEO of China region in order to give up the Chinese market?' The competition in this place was fierce. The jungle law of the jungle where the weak were the prey of the strong would not take good care of women like a gentleman in the West. Now the new president was just a woman, so many people would think that Patty might not make any big achievement here. In addition, Patty had a beautiful face and elegant figure. Some people couldn't help but have different thoughts. Who knew how she got this position? But no matter what, Patty was sent here by the headquarters, and now it was difficult for the OLY Group to develop. So everyone was quietly waiting for Patty to speak, and wanted to see how she would clean up the mess.

"Hello, everyone. I'm Patty Jiang, the new CEO of headquarter in China." Patty sat on the host seat and smiled at the managers present. Her smile was fresh, elegant, gentle and generous. The employees looked at each other and really didn't know what the CEO was going to do.

Patty kept silent for a moment, glanced at everyone present and continued, "Everyone is the director of the major brands of the OLY Group. I'm sure you all know why I was sent to China. I don't need to say anything here. I hope we can have a good cooperation in the future, so that the OLY Group can get on the right track as soon as possible." Patty said politely. Her light voice made people feel comfortable. Generally speaking, men couldn't resist such a woman. The managers sitting in the conference room nodded repeatedly, while several female managers were a little unhappy, but they didn't dare to show too much. So the meeting went on smoothly.
