Chapter 3 An Emergency

When Molly heard Elsa accusing her, she stopped and said, "Don't talk nonsense, Elsa!"

Elsa noticed the serious look on her face and threw herself into Eric's arms. "Eric, I swear I just saw her trying to choke your mother! She's just pretending! Don't let yourself be fooled by her innocent looks."

"Elsa, please go outside," Eric said coldly as he looked at Elsa, who was clinging to his arm.

She left the room reluctantly after casting a cold glance at Molly.

As Molly heard the door close, she stood there stiffly with the towel in her hand.

Eric walked to her slowly, taking one step at a time. His expression darkened and he buried his hands in his pockets.

With every step he took towards her, Molly kept recalling him thrusting deep into her. She couldn't help but step away from him, trembling with fear.

She kept backing away from him, instinctively wanting to put a distance between them. She accidentally knocked down the basin of water, and she shivered.

When Molly was finally able to see reality, she found herself in Eric's arms. "Why are you hiding? Do you feel guilty?" he asked.

Her face paled in fear.

"What are you doing here, Molly? Are you trying to kill my mother?" Eric asked as he looked at her blankly.

"No! Aunt Melissa was so kind to me, why would I hurt her?" she protested.

"So you do know that my mother always treated you well, you heartless bitch!"

Eric roared and pushed her. Molly fell on the couch, but when she was about to get up, he leaned over her.

"What are you doing, Eric?" Molly's teeth started jittering when she saw what was happening.

"Guess what I'm going to do now," he asked.

He tried to trap Molly with a snicker.

"Let go of me. This is a hospital. Besides, your mother is right next to us!" she cried, trying to persuade him to leave her alone. She struggled to push him away, but her efforts were in vain.

Eric looked at her with a devilish grin and said, "Why does that matter? You're happier when more people watch you, aren't you? Isn't that what you've always wanted?"

Eric's voice sounded harsh, like a monster's, and it terrified her.

"You've always wanted me to marry this one, haven't you, Mom? I can promise you everything you want, if you promise to get better!"

Eric said, looking at his mother, who lay in the bed next to him. He then pressed a button on the remote control, which caused a curtain to separate the bed and the couch. He leaned over and kissed Molly violently.

Molly wasn't expecting him to have sex right in front of his mother. It was humiliating for her and made her extremely angry. She gritted her teeth and said, "Eric, I will sue you for this. This is a crime!"

"All right, then, try and sue me if you can! I'll ask my assistant to put you behind bars for what you did," Eric retorted.

Tears started flowing down Molly's cheeks.

"What is going on?"

Elsa questioned the moment she walked in and saw their naked bodies.

Panicked, Molly covered herself up with Eric's coat and tried to explain it to her. However, she couldn't think of the right words to say.

"Exactly what's on your mind,"

Eric snapped, looking at Elsa coldly. He then deliberately took his coat off Molly's body. Elsa saw the hickeys all over her pale skin, and understood what was going on.

Her eyes turned red and she grabbed the tea kettle, splashing the water over Molly.

"No!" Molly screamed.

She was frightened that the hot water would cook her skin.

Fortunately, the kettle was filled with cold water. If it had been boiling hot, it would have ruined Molly's face.

"You're my employee and I am your boss, Elsa. You should know your place," Eric muttered as he put his coat back on and walked out without looking at her.

As Elsa watched his receding figure, she gritted her teeth and raised her hand, slapping Molly hard across her face. "I am going to kill you! If it weren't for you, I would have gotten engaged to him, you filthy slut!" she roared.

Molly grabbed her wrist, glared at her and said, "Elsa! A conniving bitch like you doesn't deserve love. Don't think that I will forget what you did to Aunt Melissa! If there's a god, then he is watching everything you did and he will punish you for it."

Molly then let go of her hand and quickly put on her clothes. Elsa was about to yell at her, but then a nurse walked in and said, "Don't make noise here. The patient needs to rest. Do you understand?"

Molly straightened herself up and walked out after apologizing to the nurse. Elsa was left there, standing alone and embarrassed.

The moment Molly stepped out of the hospital, she almost bumped into a black Maybach.

She was already pissed, and was about to shout at the driver when the windows lowered and she saw Eric's handsome face.

"There's a food contest in T Country, a week from today. Be prepared," he said.

When Molly heard that, her heart sank. She had stomach cancer. How could she possibly participate in a contest now? There was no chance of her winning. Even if she did participate, she would lose and face embarrassment.

"I'm sick. Can I..." she started to ask, but Eric interrupted her.

"No, that won't be accepted," Eric refused without even listening to her.

Molly wanted to explain, but he drove away, leaving her standing there stunned.

Since the villa was full, Molly didn't want to go back and face the Xiao family. Instead, she decided to stay at a hotel for a few days.

Unfortunately, it was Valentine's Day and getting a hotel room was hard. After searching for hours, she finally found a small room in a motel.

The room was a nightmare, completely messy and dirty. She tossed and turned on the bed, unable to fall asleep.

Upset, Molly stepped out for a breath of fresh air. However, it was dark outside, so she stumbled and accidentally hit her foot on another room's door.

Just when she was about to go back to her room, someone opened the door and grabbed her arm, dragging her inside.

"Why are you so late? I have been waiting for you a long time," the man said.

He then threw Molly on his bed.

Her face instantly turned as white as a sheet of paper. Terrified, she pleaded, "Sir, please let me go, you have the wrong person!"
