Chapter 9 The Baby's Surname Is Lin, not Xia

Raymond's phone number was not fixed. After he left the country, it was always him who took the initiative to contact the Xia family. No one else could find him.

Scarlett had sensed something was wrong. Her brother didn't like Ella, so he divorced and gave her a will. Hearing what Ella said about her dream, Scarlett was also anxious and called back the phone number from Raymond today.

A woman answered the phone. "Hello, may I ask who is calling?"

"I'm looking for Raymond Xia. I'm his sister."

It was Abbot who answered the phone. When he heard that it was Scarlett, he felt a little relieved. Then he wanted to cotton up with her by talking about Raymond, so he said, "Raymond... He is being rescued now."

"What? Being rescued?" Scarlett screamed. Outside, Taylor knocked on the door. "What's wrong, Scarlett?"

Taylor had to take care of her skin and went to bed early. She didn't know that Ella had come to see Scarlett directly. Ella was frightened by Scarlett's words just now. She didn't come to her senses for a long time. She grabbed the hem of her clothes, gritted her teeth and said nothing.

Noticing that she didn't look well, Scarlett shouted to the outside, "Mom, I'm fine. It was a mouse just now. I want to sleep. Let's talk about it tomorrow."

"How could there be a mouse? It's so weird," Taylor muttered and left.

Ella came to her senses, took the phone from Scarlett and asked, "Where are you now?"

Hearing the voice did not belong to Scarlett, Abbot became vigilant, feeling confused that it was still Scarlett or not. So he said, "It's not convenient to talk about this with you now. I'll go to see your brother first."

The phone was hung up. Scarlett was so angry that tears welled up in her eyes. "If anything happens to my brother, I won't let you go, Ella Sheng!"

Ella glanced at her and knew that Scarlett was angry with her for snatching the phone. She didn't retort, put down the phone and said anxiously, "Lend me your car. I'll go to find Charles Lin. Maybe he knows where your brother is."

"I... I'll go with you."

The two women went out together and went back to the Lin family's house. Charles was so anxious to look for Ella and only to see Ella came back with Scarlett. When he saw them come back, he protected Ella behind him and asked Scarlett, "Why do you ask Ella to go out at night? Don't you know she is pregnant?"

"Make it clear. It is she who come to harass me at night." What's more, the woman even harassed some bad news. Tears streamed down Scarlett's face before she finished her last sentence.

Charles looked at Ella and then at Scarlett. "What's going on?"

Ella calmed down and asked, "Do you know where Raymond is?"

Noticing her unusual emotions, Charles asked her in reply, "You still can't forget him even after you divorced? Don't forget your baby's surname is Lin, not Xia."

"Do you know where Raymond Xia is?" Ella ignored his words and repeated firmly. Her voice was trembling, full of tension and fear.

Charles frowned. "I'm his sworn enemy. It's useless to ask me. I don't know."

Ella's hope was dashed.

She thought she knew Raymond very well, but Raymond indeed didn't have any good friends in the Jiang City. He didn't often attend any parties to make friends. In other people's eyes, he was just a God, and it was impossible for others to reach out hands to touch him.

At this moment, Ella really hated the mystery of Raymond.

She sat down and tried her best to calm down. Tears streamed down from Scarlett's eyes. Ella shouted in a low voice, "Don't cry. People in the Xia family won't cry."

No matter how tough Scarlett was, she was still a little sister in front of Raymond. Logically speaking, she was not afraid of Ella's roar, but for no reason, she seemed to see the coldness and toughness when Raymond scolded her for the moment. She wiped her face and asked, "What should we do now?"

"Do you know the woman who answered your brother's phone today?"

"Her name is Abbot, and she is studying in M country..." Scarlett paused and then continued, "Yes, we can go to find Abbot. She should be with my brother."

Seeing the excitement of the two of them, Charles couldn't help but pour cold water on them. "What if Abbot isn't in M country? A country land is so vast. How can you find her?"

"Does Abbot like Raymond?" Ella looked at Charles with her bright eyes.

"How do you know?" Charles had a vague guess of what had happened in M country, but he didn't intend to tell Ella and started to talk to her in a roundabout way.

Scarlett was impetuous and sneered, "At this time, you still care about who likes my brother."

Ella knocked on the glass in front of her and thought for a while. "I'm going to M country to find Raymond. Will you two come with me?"

"Are you going through a thousand miles to find your husband? Ella, are you women only thinking with emotions instead of brain? Just because of an absurd dream, do you think something really happened to Raymond? Stupid woman, he doesn't want you anymore. Is it meaningful for you to stick to him?" It was the first time that Charles said something harsh to Ella. He didn't like the way that she only loved Raymond.

Ella made up her mind and went upstairs to pack her things, ignoring Charles's questions. Her fair face turned a little red in the crystal light.

Charles, a real man, couldn't even stop two impulsive women.

Afraid of being laughed at, Charles decided to go with them in person.

The air tickets were booked with the departure time of the early morning of the second day.

Ella didn't close her eyes all the whole night. When they arrived in M country, they directly went to Abbot's further study school. When the three arrived at the destination, it was already three o'clock in the afternoon.

After a whole day's searching, fortunately, they found that Abbot was at school and agreed Scarlett's request to meet outside the school.

With an outstanding temperament, Abbot was even more beautiful among the group of foreigners. The first time she saw Ella in the restaurant, she called her, "Carla Sheng?"

"Have you ever met Carla Sheng?" Ella took a sip of coffee and asked.

Abbot blinked her eyes. "Didn't you come to pick up Raymond yesterday?"

Ella's head went blank.

Her coffee was spilled all over the floor.

"Yesterday, Raymond passed by our school and seemed to be injured. I happened to meet him. After you called me, Raymond asked Carla to pick him up and left together. The two seemed to be in a good relationship,"

Abbot continued, like an ordinary person who was telling other people's story.

Finally, she looked at Ella up and down and asked again and again, "Are you really not Carla Sheng"

"No." Ella shook her head. "No, my name is Ella Sheng."

A murderous look flashed across Abbot's beautiful eyes, and then she turned into an innocent smile. "So you are twin sisters."

Dissatisfied with the way the two talked, Scarlett asked Abbot with concern, "Sister Abbot, do you know where my brother is now?"

"The rose apartment. It's where Carla lives." Abbot told them the address and took a meaningful look at Ella.

Ella didn't know how she felt about Abbot. She always felt that this woman looked exceptionally cruel.
