Chapter 9 You're A Jerk

She understood that feeling. Jeff didn't like Cindy to mention his past, and he didn't want anyone to know it either. He didn't want to go home, and that was also the reason why he didn't want to see Cindy. Unfortunately, Cindy didn't realize that and was just being an innocent housewife all the time.

"Vivian, since you don't want to play anymore and I'm a little tired, let's go back!"

"Well, let's go. There's no fun in this place. Next time, you can go to my home!"

Lina was naturally happy, "Okay, I won't drive you back today. I'll go back to the company first. Jeff has something for me to deal with!"

As soon as Lina finished her words, her phone rang. It was from Jeff. Lina had expected his call because she knew he couldn't bear it.

Lina waved her phone at Vivian, "I'm sorry. I have to go."

Staring at Lina's back, Vivian's eyes became resentful. She cursed, "Bitch, when my brother finish playing with you, you must get out of my world."

Of course, Lina couldn't hear Vivian's words. If she did, she might be a little surprised. In her eyes, Vivian was no different from Cindy. One was a rich silly girl, and the other was a beautiful vase.

Cindy didn't see Lina, but less than three minutes after Lina left, she received a call from Jeff. It turned out that after receiving the picture Jeff was very angry and sent that picture to Cindy, but she didn't read the message.

It was not until Jeff called Lina that he knew Cindy was still busy taking care of the child.

Lina asked Jeff not to tell Cindy before she went back, but how could Jeff agree? He immediately called Cindy.

Cindy's phone rang. At this time, Bruce and Angela were walking towards next game. Cindy quickly hung up the phone. She knew something bad would happen if she answered the phone. She would rather not answer it.

However, the person on the other end of the phone seemed to have made up his mind not to give up until he got what he wanted. It rang several times. In a fit of anger, she blacklisted Jeff. But a moment later, another phone call came and she knew that it was from Jeff's office.

Cindy looked at the phone in her hand that rang a moment ago. She knew that if she didn't answer the phone, Jeff would not give up. She had no choice but to apologize awkwardly to Bruce and Angela, "I'm sorry. I have to answer the phone."

Bruce didn't say anything and nodded. But Angela pulled the corner of Cindy's clothes and said, "Auntie, come back quickly. Let's go to play the pirate ship over there!"

Cindy nodded and walked away. She answered unhappily, "Hello!"

"Cindy!"

Jeff's angry voice came through the telephone receiver, which made Cindy stunned. After a moment, Cindy said angrily, "You did disgusting things with Lina. I've had enough. Don't talk nonsense, okay?"

If it weren't for the large number of visitors and children in the amusement park on weekends, Cindy really wanted to curse at all costs.

"You betrayed me first."

Jeff was probably very angry. He had been a good husband for a long time. If it weren't for Lina came to him again and again, if he hadn't drunk that day and had sex with Lina the first time... He had thought it was not good at the beginning, but it was her who forced him.

He was very good to Cindy. She had never taken the initiative with Lina, and he was also generous to Cindy's food and clothing. Everyone in the company knew that she was the wife of the boss.

What happened today made him angrier than what his mother told him yesterday. Yesterday was just a verbal statement. He could comfort himself and persuade himself not to be too fussy with Cindy.

He couldn't feel assured after what happened today. The evidence was there. They had been together since college. He didn't know this bitch already had a child with someone. He had been with her all the time. If he had known it earlier, he would have found more lovers.

Before Cindy found something to defend herself, Jeff's voice came again, "Cindy, I want to divorce you right now. You'll disappear from my world with your two bastards!"

Cindy was confused. She only told Jessica that she had a child, and the child was not twins. Where did the two bastards come from? Besides, how could she bear the insult?

"Jeff, you have to remember that the baby in my belly is yours. He is not a bastard, and I am the one who wants to divorce. I don't want to live with jerk. You have no right to talk about divorce with me. You only deserve to stay with a bitch like Lina."

After saying that, Cindy's eyes were still filled with tears. Thinking of how happy she was when she just heard the news of her pregnancy, she wanted to tell Jeff immediately. But now, the fruit of their love had turned into a bastard.

Perhaps Jeff heard Cindy's sobs, or perhaps he sensed something, he sneered, "Lina is much better than your rich old man."

Jeff was really overwhelmed by anger. For a moment, he felt that the money that Cindy gave him in college was from this rich old man. Thinking of this, he was getting angrier and angrier.

Cindy didn't want to talk to this man anymore. She was really tired and hung up the phone.

However, Jeff didn't let her go. He still called her, and of course, she wouldn't answer it. But he also sent messages which said, "You can check the evidence by yourself."

Cindy couldn't believe that the once gentle young man would treat her like this. The man who used to save money to give her a silver ring now saw her as a bitch.

The word "bitch" hurt her heart deeply.

Holding the phone in her hand, Cindy clicked on the evidence sent by Jeff. It was a photo of herself, Bruce and Angela on the merry go round. She was surprised. In the photo, only her face was revealed. She also knew that what Jeff said just now was based on this evidence. It turned out that he was talking about them.

A touch of irony suddenly appeared on Cindy's sad face. She thought to herself, 'Jeff, you are so stupid. You always claim to be a fan of Bruce, but you can't even recognize his back.' She was glad Angela's face didn't appear in the photo. Otherwise, he would certainly make a fuss about it.

Cindy didn't want to see a man like him anymore. If she had another choice, she wouldn't choose him even if all the men on the earth died.

Cindy held back her tears and calmed herself down. Then she picked up the phone and made a call. Before Jeff could speak, she said, "Are you in the company now? I'm going to see you right now. Let's have a talk."

Then, she hung up the phone. She wiped her face and wiped away the depression and tear stains before she dared to walk back to Bruce and Angela.

Thye were really waiting for her to come back. For a moment, she had an illusion that they were actually her family even if she had just known them for two days, while Jeff was a complete stranger

Bruce was silent and Angela looked at her in concern. She took Cindy's hand and asked, "Aunt, what's wrong with you? Are you crying?"

If Cindy had looked at herself in the mirror before coming to them, she would find that she was really haggard, especially the red marks at the corners of her eyes. It was difficult not to be seen.

It was not that Bruce was not curious, but just now they were far away, and no matter how good Bruce's hearing was, he could not hear at all. Besides, Bruce disdained to do such a thing. After all, Cindy was just Angela's nanny. He just needed to make sure that she was good to Angela. Other things had nothing to do with him, so his curiosity had been suppressed by him.

Cindy forced a smile and took a deep breath, "I'm fine, but..."

She looked at Bruce and said, "I want to ask for a leave. I'll go back to your house in the evening. Tomorrow morning, I'll send Angela to school on time. I really need to deal with some private affairs now."
