Chapter 7 Secret Observation

Then Bruce hung up the phone. Angela trusted Cindy and believed that she was a good person. He shouldn't investigate her. If Cindy knew that he investigated her, she may leave because of anger. It was difficult for Angela to find a trustworthy person.

Moreover, Cindy's eyes were very clear, not like those with ulterior motives. Bruce put his mobile phone on the table and continued to work on his laptop. There were still a lot of things to do. As for Cindy, he didn't care much about her personal life as long as she didn't hurt Angela.

Cindy thought she would not sleep well since this was her first night in Bruce's mansion. In fact, she was ready to have insomnia because of the phone call from Jeff. However, sometimes the world was so wonderful. She slept well. If it hadn't been for the alarm clock she had set the night before, she would not have woken up.

The sun shone all over the bedroom. Cindy stretched herself and struggled for the last second. Then she got up and began to clean up as soon as possible. She had promised to take Angela out to play today.

It was her first day at work. She must keep her word. She didn't want to let Bruce and Angela down and think that she couldn't do anything. She had to take good care of the little girl who believed her.

After tidying up, Cindy came to the door of Angela's room. When she was about to knock on the door, Bruce came out of his room. His room was very close to Angela's, probably in order to take good care of her.

"Good morning, Bruce." Cindy didn't know whether he had heard her words or not. Anyway, he didn't respond.

Embarrassed, Cindy said, "I'll wake up her!"

Bruce didn't say anything but nodded slightly.

However, before Cindy walked into her room, Bruce said, "She sleeps late on weekends and doesn't like others to wake her up, but I think she needs to develop the habit of getting up early which should be cultivated from an early age. I don't want her to sleep late. You have to make sure that she goes to bed early and gets up early."

"Yes sir!" Cindy agreed and went into Angela's room.

Angela was still sleeping. The sun shone on her face through the thin curtain, and her whole body was shining with a thin layer of light, especially on her face, which was even whiter and softer. Looking at her cute looks, Cindy almost wanted to let her continue to sleep.

However, Bruce's words were still in her ears, so she made up her mind and walked over.

Cindy gently shook her, but she didn't wake up. She was still asleep, so Cindy shook her harder. It was not until then that Angela slowly opened her eyes, wriggling with dissatisfaction, "I haven't woken up yet!"

"Angela, it's time to get up. We have agreed to go out to play. We'll be late!" Cindy said gently.

"No, I want to sleep!"

"Angela, listen to me. We agreed yesterday!"

"I'm too sleepy to open my eyes or speak. No, no, no!"

"Daddy said you can't sleep late. You should go to bed early and get up early. Good girl. Auntie will help you put on clothes!"

Hearing "father", Angela opened her eyes quickly. She remembered clearly what father said last night. Father said that if she didn't behave well, aunt would leave.

All of a sudden, Angela sat up and looked at Cindy, "I'll be a good girl. Auntie, don't leave me!"

As soon as Angela finished speaking, she shook Cindy's arm as if she was acting like a spoiled child. Seeing that she was so cute, Cindy's heart melted.

"Angela, be a good girl. I won't leave you. Now get dressed."

As soon as Cindy finished speaking, she handed Angela the princess dress she brought from the wardrobe. Angela keeps her word. She didn't cry anymore and began to put on her clothes obediently.

Downstairs, with a glass of milk in his hand, Bruce was staring at his mobile phone where he could see what is happening in Angela's room because he had set a pinhole camera there. He really wanted to see how Cindy woke up Angela especially on her first day as a nanny.

Seeing that Angela was disobeying Cindy who appeared to be helpless, Bruce's cold face softened a little.

Seeing that Angela was ready and Cindy was going downstairs with her, Bruce slowly put the phone back on the table and picked up the Financial Times next to him, pretending to be reading them carefully and didn't even raise his head as they walked to him.

"Good morning, Dad!" Angela's sweet voice rang out. Holding her hand, Cindy stood at the table.

Bruce raised his head and smiled, "Angela, good morning. Did you behave well today?" It was a rare scene to Cindy.

Angela looked up at Cindy, and then nodded heavily. "Angela is a good girl. I didn't stay late in bed. If you don't believe me, you can ask her!"

Cindy hurriedly said, "Sir, she is indeed very obedient. She..."

Before Cindy could finish her words, Bruce interrupted her, "Well, come and have a seat. Breakfast is ready!"

Cindy was embarrassed. There was no need to defend Angela at all. She looked around and was deciding which seat to take.

At this moment, Bruce had put down the business magazine. Looking at Cindy who was still standing there, he frowned and asked, "Is there any problem?"

Cindy shook her head, "Not really." But she didn't move.

"You can sit next to Angela. From now on, you need to take care of her while having meals."

Bruce's explanation helped Cindy find her seat. Never before had Cindy heard more words from Bruce. She began to accept her identity as an nanny just like Angela called her. She needed to focus on Angela all the time.

When Cindy and Angela finished breakfast together, Bruce had already finished it, sitting on the sofa and busy with something on his laptop.

Cindy glanced at Angela who understood her meaning quickly. Angela walked to Bruce and pulled his clothes. "Dad, aunt and I are going to the amusement park today. We are leaving!"

Bruce closed his laptop and glanced at Cindy, who immediately replied, "Bruce, I'll take Angela there, but my car has been dragged to the garage to repair, so please send us there!"

Cindy knew that even if she hadn't asked him, Bruce would definitely send a car to send them there. As for her car, Bruce wouldn't even look at it. Moreover, her car actually

belongs to Jeff. He must have received the phone call. It was unlikely for her to drive that car any more.

"I'll go with you!"

Hearing what Bruce said, Angela clapped her hands happily and said, "Daddy, daddy you're so good. Daddy is so good!"

Cindy's feeling was mixed. She didn't know whether to feel happy or worried. She tried to remain a calm look.

She should have seen that Bruce was wearing rather casual clothes instead of suit today. As a CEO, he definitely couldn't go to work wearing like this.

Hearing Bruce's words, Cindy couldn't help but think of Jeff who always stressed that he was too busy to accompany her. But Jeff couldn't be busier than Bruce, could he?

It seemed to her that being busy was just an excuse. It showed he didn't take you seriously. That's all. Time is like the water in the sponge, and there would always be some if you squeeze.

Cindy was lost in her own thought and didn't notice that Bruce and Angela were looking at her all the time.

When Cindy realized what had happened, her face turned red, but Bruce didn't seem to see it. He raised his eyebrows and asked, "Is there anything wrong?"

"No problem at all!" Cindy answered Bruce quickly.

After saying that, Bruce put the computer aside, stood up and walked out. Angela quickly pulled Cindy and said, "Auntie, let's go out. If we are late, Dad will be unhappy!"

Cindy agreed, but she was pulled by Angela who whispered to her with a smile, "Aunt, it's normal for girls to blush after seeing my father. My father won't be surprised. But aunt, don't be so obvious next time. My father doesn't like that."

Cindy was surprised to hear what Angela had said. Such a little girl should understood

so many things! However, she was not shy just now, but only embarrassed!

Cindy was about to explain, but Angela gave her a friendly smile and pulled her outside the house.
