Chapter 8 I Want To Hug You (Part One)

Adrian felt a little embarrassment. Tracy held her phone tightly. The relationship between Nicole and Ada was so unusual.

Nicole went to the Department of Orthopedics with Ada in his arms. He found a director who didn't even take an X-ray. The director pinched Ada's leg to see if the bone was damaged. At last, he came to the conclusion that she should take some pain killers and then heat before cold.

He wanted to carry her away, but she refused. "It's not good. There are so many colleagues here. If they misunderstand us, it will be embarrassing for me to work in different departments in the future."

"Misunderstanding?" He frowned and didn't let her pretend to be strong. "There's no misunderstanding. I'm your husband."

Ada was stunned. She was suddenly picked up by him. What did he say? 'What did he mean by 'I'm your husband'?' That's too straightforward. She felt shy again.

So they went back to their home. He didn't blush or breathe, as if holding a piece of paper.

"Eat more than half a bowl of rice for each meal." He put her on the sofa.

"What if I can't eat?"

"You have to do what I said and do not say you cannot. " He went to find a towel. His words made her speechless.

Ada, who always argued with others, was also afraid sometimes, mainly because she was not as strong as Nicole. If she faced Tracy, things would be easy.

Thinking of that girl, she was angry. She knew that it was Tracy who deliberately bumped into others and let others hit her. When her feet recovered, she had to take revenge.

Nicole came over with a hot towel. Seeing her angry face, he knew what she was thinking. "Fighting is not the way to solve problems."

"But she deserves to be beaten up. She made trouble for me and made my feet swollen like this." She was indignant.

"Be careful next time. You can fight back, but don't think about revenge." He was afraid that she would get hurt because the scratch on her neck had just scab.

Ada raised her nose and said, "Nicole, I heard that you came from the army. Why are you so bloodless?"

"Do I have courage if I ask you to go around? You went out for dinner and got injured without even eating. If you were in the army, you would see if I would kick you or not. " Nicole's words scared her to shrink her neck.

But she was still not convinced. She was born to be a leopard, which could not be changed immediately

"I'm hungry." Ada's stomach growled when she wanted to eat.

"Press the towel by yourself. I'm going to cook."

She nodded obediently and leaned against the sofa idly. Suddenly, his phone rang. It was an unfamiliar number. It was from America. She turned around and shouted, "Nicole, it's from America."

His hand paused and the knife fell on the fingernail cover. Fortunately, there was no blood.

"No."

Without noticing Nicole's abnormality, Ada muttered, "now the scam phone has become advanced, and the dial address was changed to one from the United States. It's really awesome."

Nicole prepared the meal and changed the towel for her. When she saw him busy, a corner of her heart began to melt, and the scope was expanding.

"I think finding a good doctor like you is the luckiest thing in my life." She suddenly blurted out.

Ada was a sentimental person. She would say whatever she thought of. She always believed in a simple way of life.

Nicole filled a bowl of rice for her and didn't say anything, but he remembered what she said, whether it was true or not.

"One, two, three, four, five dishes? Can we finish it? " She didn't like to waste food.

"Okay." He responded and began to prove himself with his strength.

Halfway through the meal, yam couldn't help but ask, "uncle, is the meal in the army counted and everyone is scrambling for it?"

"Yes."

Seeing that he had no desire to speak, she lowered her head and ate hard. The two of them were both didn't like wasting food. Five dishes and one pot of rice, even a grain of rice and a leaf were not left.

After dinner, Nicole washed the dishes and went to the bathroom again. As expected, she didn't wash her clothes yesterday. He took a small basin to pack her underwear and wash it, and threw the other clothes directly into the washing machine.

Hearing the sound of the washing machine, Ada suddenly remembered what she had changed. She jumped to the bathroom door and said, "Nicole, I'll do it. I'll do it."

Nicole's hand was still stained with bubbles, but the basin was held in her hand. He ordered, "put it back."

"But It's so embarrassing. " She lowered her head. These were all her underwear. Was she sure to let him wash them?

"Three, two..." Nicole counted down.

Ada immediately put the basin back. She knew that he was taking care of her, but as a wife, she didn't take care of her husband. Instead, her husband was so busy to take care of her. She felt sorry for him.

After a while, she came up with a way to repay him. "Nicole, how about I help you wash your underwear tonight?"

Nicole stiffened. The underwear he was washing was her underwear. Although she didn't have a good taste, it was the most private clothes for women. As a normal man, he was taking care of her while resisting some restlessness in his body. How could she be so bold to say that she would help him wash underpants?

Ada didn't realize that her unintentional words provoked something. She thought she was doing her duty.

"Get out and close the door." His voice was a little hoarse.

"What? Do you think I'm noisy? " She frowned and looked at him with her big black eyes.

Nicole thought that he shouldn't be her teacher in the field of chest surgery, but should teach some physiological knowledge to her.

He washed the bubbles in his hands and walked up to Ada, forcing her to lean against the corner of the wall, with the washbasin at his hand.
